They were not even closed yet and a woman was yelling “we are closed” So very unprofessional! If I could give no stars I would. You do not treat clients like that. I work in insurance and if get off at 6:00 pm and someone calls at 5:59 I take care of their needs. Only in Heflin would this happen! I will be taking my business elsewhere whether piggly wiggly, family dollar, or WM from now on just because of the attitude the girl had.

It's a Dollar Gereral, ain't they all about the same, except for the salespeople. They had a really good one that I could relate to but she's not there anymore. New staff are ok but not as outgoing.

I live within driving distance of 2 CLOSER Dollar General Stores. But I never go to those, I only go to the Heflin Dollar General. WHY? Because the staff there CARE about their jobs and it shows in how they treat their customers and how clean the store is. I never have to climb over boxes to get down an aisle, or slip on something spilled. They have the best fresh fruits and vegetables that it astounds me I am going to a Dollar General to get better fresh items than I can get at a grocery store or Walmart. I LOVE this store!

These people were so helpful and in a good mood! So much that I felt it was necessary to leave a review and let them know they made my day!! I had to go in twice in like 10 mins and they helped both times, which was awesome cause I was in a hurry!! Ty for working hard and giving me a pleasant experience!!

Great little store to pick up essentials and pay my Alabama power bill also. Friendly faces with great prices. My go to place for paper products and snacks for weekend cook outs

The bathroom was not stopped at all with toilet paper or paper towels for God's sake it's a Dollar General you sell those things LOL other than that the store was fine the guy at the register the cashier was nice

It's always cluttered with stock in the aisles. The shelfs almost empty. If it's a busy day you usually have to stand in line because they have one register for credit/debit cards and one for cash only. The store was small to start with and since they have brought in produce and more coolers they really don't have a selection.

Store was stocked and reorganized, there were some empty shelves and product areas, but the store was closed for a recent remodel and upgrade and workers were in the process of restocking.
