When I entered the building the first thing I saw was a lot of blank stares from many many tables. Then I started looking around and I see that it's full of local people but they don't have any meals and they are drastically waiting on them. And it was super quiet in there. No music no talking everybody seem to be waiting for something to eat. We sat down and open table and ordered our drinks. Then we ordered an appetizer which did not take long to come out. Also after that was delivered we ordered our lunch. Again it really did not take that long. So I'm not sure what all the blank stares were for. Two of us had the barbecue sandwich from one head the fried shrimp. The shrimp were excellent but the barbecue pork sandwich tasted like oven baked. It was okay to eat though. Sweet potato fries were good, french fries were also good. This is a fairly big place to sit down and eat at, but while I was there I only witnessed one server for the entire establishment. She worked her butt off and deserve everything she got. I was just in the mood to stop in for some barbecue and thought this place was it but maybe not. I will say though they have the freshest oysters around this area. I see they shuck them in front of you at the bar. They are probably a very good seafood place to go. I won't hold it against them on the barbecue.

GREAT FOOD, Great Service!!!! Everything taste great. I had the Fried Shrimp which is jumbo not butter bean size. Cooked to perfection. I also had the dozen Cajun oysters yummy . I shared the oysters with 3 others in my party. My brother in law had the Mushroom and Swiss burger which he said was the best then any where else. My husband had the Catfish plate which was also cooked to perfection. All the food was awesome and cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. It's totally better and cheaper then David's catfish house. Very Friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This is one of those places that has that wonderful small-town vibe. I love the people. The food not so much. We ordered 4 burgers, fried shrimp, fried Pickles, and fried crab fingers. Burgers were over cooked enough to where there was no moisture in them. The shrimp were ok, but the cocktail sauce is not cocktail sauce. The crab claws tasted kinda rancid on a few. I am now currently throwing up. I hope I don't have food poisoning. Great place! Horrible food. Sorry folks

My best friend and I met for lunch! The food was very tasty,I ordered the grilled ribeye sandwich and my gal pal had the hamburger steak! We began with oysters, mine raw and her's baked,no problem getting half her way and half my way! Service could have been better when we were finished but actually how can I complain because our check didn't arrive sooner! Looking forward to going back and bringing both our families!

I had the frog legs and they were great. Of all the places that I’ve eaten frog legs I would rate them at about a 9 out of 10! The waitresses and service was great and so was the atmosphere! I would definitely eat there again when I come down from Tennessee!

Our first time eating at this establishment.Excellent service and assistance from our server by recommending some menu items.Food was delivered quickly. Cooked to order. Hot and very good. I had 3 fried catfish filets and wife had hamburger steak with onions and gravy. Fish was flaky and not greasy. Very nice!Plenty of food. We didn't leave hungry.We'll be back for sure. It was real nice finding a good, LOCAL restaurant in Headland.

First visit at this facility. The experience started off good, but ended horribly. There was a hair in our food, the OWNER came to the table to address the concern. Her exact words were “I’m so sorry, but that’s part of what happens in the food industry. Oh well”. No sense of professionalism, no accountability, and no class, and last but not least, apparently no hair nets! Is this how you run your organization? Maybe you are ok with hair in food, but I’m most certain health inspectors would not approve. I can promise, me nor ANYONE that I know will ever dine here again!

If I could I would leave zero stars. This place is absolutely awful. Stopped in for a quick bite this afternoon (6/22) on my way through Headland. I ordered the tender basket w/ fries and a drink. $14.12 was the total.Whoever was back there cooking needs cooking lessons. Absolutely no seasoning on the tenders or fries and what I got was definitely not worth $14. See attached pictures.The young lady who served me was polite enough but other than that, I have nothing positive to say about this experience. I like to give a place at least two tries so I’ll give them a try again and maybe they’ll change my mind.If you have $14 to blow, this is where you’ll do it.

This place has some great food! I've been here a couple of times and the food is fresh and better than I even expected both times! The atmosphere is very basic, outdated, etc, but the food more than makes up for that! If you're looking for a lunch on the road, it's a great treat! Definitely recommend! This BBQ sandwich with a side of cole slaw and fries was so good I had to stop myself from exploding lol

Just had a very nice lunch here. We both ordered tacos with blackened shrimp. They had just the right amount of spice, a good baja sauce, along with lettuce and tomatoes. The shrimp were plentiful for the price. I loved the sweet potato fries, and the iced tea was fresh. Our waitress Felicia was super. She got our food to us hot and quick

The food was amazing and well worth the wait. We had loaded french fries (hand cut), grilled & fried shrimp with blacken red potatoes & okra and catfish fillets & onion rings. Clearly oysters on the half shell were a local favorite & we were half tempted to order some but were stuffed from so much food! If we are ever back in the area we will be back! Thank you for a great meal!
