I've been taking my dogs(4 of them) to Aunt Jackie's for years. She is so dedicated that she starts early in the morning and sometimes is still in her shop late at night, she is so kind to my pets, she pays special attention to any and all my grooming requests, and I wouldn't think of using another groomer.

I've used the salon twice for our labradoodle, and we have had very pleasing results. Prices were reasonable as well. The only complaint I would have is the length of time it takes for the services because she stays so booked up!

I took my dog (Aussie-doodle) to be groomed by Jackie, at Jackie’s salon. I showed her a photo as an example of how I wanted my dog to be groomed. Just a trim and rounded out. When I picked her up 10 HOURS LATER, she was just shaved. Her body was shaved almost down to the skin. Her head was botched, not even done evenly as she didn’t go near her face or ears, she has long hairs hanging from her chin and her tail was not even touched. Her tail hair is long, the rest of her is just bald. She was NOT matted at all, she is brushed every night down to the skin to ensure that she does not mat. She charged me $70, asked for a tip and she did not even greet me when I picked up my dog, it was the receptionist.Also when I dropped her off, the receptionist was very unprofessional. When I showed the picture of how I wanted my dog groomed, she made a snarky comment about doodles. They also lost her leash and harness for a bit when I got there to pick her up.I do not appreciate any of it. I had an awful experience, I feel awful for bringing my dog there. I left in tears. My dog looks terrible, she left there very skittish. I will NOT be taking there again.

Update: I just wanted to provide an update in case it helps anyone. I recently moved and have groomers all over the place, but I will continue to take my dogs to Aunt Jackie's because I trust them to treat my dog well & be patient with her. I also know that my dog is comfortable with them. She's getting old and her joints hurt. She had a bout of Vestibular Disease that has left some lasting symptoms. I do my best to not stress her out & AJ's helps with that a lot. She's a lot of work, but they handle her well.Aunt Jackie's has always been great and welcoming. I first took a dumped dog there because he stunk (after a vet appointment of course) and Jackie was very understanding of the situation and took great care of the old man. I recommended this place to my parents and they love it.. My groomer across the street had to quit doing my dog due to her size and the groomer having health problems so I took my dog here and she did really great. My dog has extreme anxiety, but she didn't seem bothered by her experience. She smelled and looked great too.

Excellent experience, Jackie is so nice and a pleasure to do business with. When we arrived to drop off my pup for grooming, she saw that my dog was a little nervous and she took the time to get down on the floor with my dog and put her at ease. Jackie is did an outstanding job grooming my Scottish Terrier. Usually when she gets groomed it takes a day or two for her to relax and be herself again but when we got home my dog reacted like nothing was different. Will continue to have Aunt Jackie's groom my dog in the future

I had a lot of anxiety about my dog's first grooming but when we got there and started talking they made me feel so much better anxiety went way down my Mollie seemed so excited giving loves when we went back to pick her up she was so calm she seemed to have a good experience and she looked so good and clean nails clip Thank U Aunt Jackie for taking care of our Fur Baby we will definitely be back in six weeks LUV Mollie

I wouldn't even give 1 star. My one dog was so scared and shaking and reaked like body odor after him being there for 6 or 7 hours. My other dogs haircut was chopped so horribly and they just tried to hide it by greasing her hair back so she came home oily. Do not recommend at all

My dogs face was never washed or groomed. They would keep her for 10 hours, even though I had an appointment. Every time I would go pick her up from there, my dog would be cowering in fear and wouldn't let me pet her. Although I have been going to this groomer for 8 months, I have just now been hearing stories of how she would treat the animals there. I do not and will not send my dog back there.

Aunt Jackie is not only a pet groomer, she enjoys what she is doing and treats her animals with kindness. She has cute little outfits and bows and other pet needs. Best of all my furbabies love her!

Aunt Jackie does the grooming for my three puppies, milkshake, gizmo and tic toc. She takes good care of my fur babies. She does a beautiful job with the grooming, nails and cute hair bows. Everything is clean. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

If you're looking for show quality then you should look else where, but if you're looking for a woman who loves her job and the animals she cares for then I would highly recommend using Aunt Jackie's. She has gotten me in before after my dog was sprayed by a skunk at 11pm. She did not complain she was extremely kind and understanding and she was great with my dog, who had never been to a groomers before. 5 stars becuase she is consistant, cheap, and accommodating.

On 9-11-13 I went to Aunt Jackie's Pet Salon. She treated my dogs with a kind heart. I rescued a stray that was in need of grooming very badly. The dog is a mix breed of a maltese and poodle so the hair was very badly tangled and matted. The poor dogs ears were casted with her own hair along with her legs. I fully expected to have to treat the dogs skin because of the shaver having to be so close to the skin. However, she was so good that Missy (the rescued dog) didn't have any shave burns or anything on her. She looked great and felt great. She even gave me a great deal on the groom because I rescued Missy.. She is very sweet and loving to the animals and she will see me in the future. I also brought my other dog in to remove any mats and she did an awesome job on her too. Jackie also sales dog clothes, toys, and ect. for animals. So far only great things to say about her! I fully recommend!

I have short haired dogs that don't need any grooming, however they do need their nails clipped (I'm too nervous to do it myself) and I have used her twice now to do just this. The dogs seem to take to her quite well and trust her to do the clipping. She files the nails a bit after clipping and that's where the dogs have their doubts, but they will come around. I think my neighbor uses her for her puppy which is a long haired puppy and seems quite happy with her.

So I have taken Harley to aunt Jackie be4 & absolutely LOVEDDD his hair cut! So this time around I not only had her do har har but my niece dog too, BJ aka Jeanie girl. Well BJ does Not like the sound of those clippers when they turn on OR so we have been told from the place that has cut her the last several years! So when we would take her in for a cut it was always in her file to restrain her bc she was 'aggressive ' (a lil cute miniature white poodle ). Well when I talked to aunt Jackie about it she told me she was going to try to do without because she did not like restraining animals but if need be she could. So after 6 years of havin to have her lil sweet mouth forced closed every hair cut she has had, I am proud to say our Jeanie girl had her 1st big girl hair cut with no restrains necessary! I still can't believe it! BJ loved aunt Jackie so much and felt so safe in her arms. She sensed what a great animal lover aunt Jackie was and BJ trusted her! I am so proud! I have never meet another groomer that is so great at what she does! I will now be taking my other black lab niece dog (my wittle angel) Lulu to her in the morning to have her nails cut. Then next week when my sister and I swap animals again I'll be taking my 7month old Kitty cat there to have his nails trimmed. This lady knows her job so well. I talked to her for a while and she just knows everything there is to know about every breed we brought up! I am so pleased with this business! My dogs and niece dogs have had 4ever homes for a while now but now they all have a forever groomer! Thanks aunt Jackie! Your hard work and tender touch with all the animals mean so much to the families of the animal and the animals themselves! :-)

I had a cousin with a Yorkie named Harley I posted a picture of him when they burnt his skin with the clippers but he got better so my groomer I have used for years went out of business so I with my daughter tried Jackie's for awhile at least twice it was okay I still was trying to find a groomer close so it was time for me to get my baby groomed he got home I didn't notice that day the next morning I went to the second bathroom I seen blood on the towel and floor picked him up and he was clipper burnt on his rectum private areas I cared him to the vet they gave me a spray to keep them areas cleaned antibiotics he had pain meds it took a couple of weeks because when he relieved himself he would open it up and a scab over back there and it took a lot of work and money wished I would have taken pictures but I was also sick with shingles
