Julie in the grooming department is out of this world!! She loves my dogs and they love her! She takes great care of my 4 pups while they’re with her getting a spa day. The store is also very well kept and the team is very friendly and quick.

The only problem I have the fish I bought died the next day I haven't returned it yet.. but other than that I never had no complaints haven't returned it yet but I know they probably will cuz nothing's wrong with my water

This place is awesome Some of their prices are a little higher than expected but mostly not too bad , they have a wide variety of supplies from food, treats, and vitamins etc for a variety of animals . Speaking of animals they have lots of different animals from fish to amphibians to birds and more here for you to be able to purchase! The staff is very friendly most of the time but I've been here a couple times over the course of a few years where the staff seems annoyed by customers just being customers in the store purchasing stuff and they don't seem to care about blatantly showing it either. Besides that a great place to get your pet needs overall

Save your time. After the rebranding they either will be out of what you need or so high you can't afford it. We have loved this store for years but now we have to drive to Decatur. Yesterday I went in for a light bulb and it's been 5.97 for the last four years but yesterday they tried charging me 118.00 for two. Go to Decatur. I will miss the ladies but who can afford that.

Made the mistake of coming here; left disgusted and distressed.Took a moment to look at the parakeets(budgies) and noticed one was hyperventilating; watching her a bit longer showed signs of illness(head thrown back, stumbling movement.) The enclosure had flies crawling around it and the water was very dirty. These birds were also visibly below their first molt, likely barely independent.I alerted an employee that this bird should be quarantined and she attempted to catch her in a small net. This is not how budgies should be handled(a small towel is best as a net will tangle their claws) and if this is the extent that the employees are being trained on the handling of store animals then this is highly disconcerting.Buyer beware, employees are clearly not informed on the animals sold and they are likely being housed alongside sick ones.

Absolutely horrible customer service. 2 people in the back when I was trying to get a rat were more interested in playing with the lizards than helping me. The person at the register was more interested in their phone than ringing me out. If it wasn't for them being one of the only places to find mice/rats I would not recommend this place!!! It took me almost 45 minutes to get one small rat and a chew toy for my dog!!!

After the rebranding to just "Pet Supplies Plus", they have officially lost my business. I am paying over 30% more for just one bag of dog food than compared to what I was paying merely months ago. An employee of theirs even told me at checkout that they can no longer afford to buy dog food from that location even with their employee discount. Until the new ownership cuts back on their frankly vile price increases I will not be returning. I'm absolutely unwilling to pay $85 just to keep my dogs fed, and you should be too.

I had a terrible experience here. I was looking all over town trying to get my dog groomed and finally online I found pet depot had some spots available a 3 weeks out. We had just got the dog and she needed a haircut bad. So we were trying to be patient and we waited the 3 weeks. Finally the day had come. My kids got the dog ready and they were very excited. We took our dog up there to drop her off and when we got there were told "Oh the lady had to leave..sorry, we will call you back and get you in as soon as we can" We were very upset because couldnt they have called and told me that before i had my kids all excited? They never called me back. I actually feel slighted by pet depot because you wasted 3 weeks of my time, knowing it would be impossible for me to get another appointment anywhere else unless done way ahead of time. Edit to add: they commented after they saw this review that they would have someone contact me...never happened.

Love he lady that was grooming. She was super good with my baby and very friendly. All the lady's that was working the day I was there, were really friendly and helpful. I could tell the store was well managed just from the appearance, availability of items and the workers customer service......

My little guy has been groomed by this PetDepot for years. When the groomer left they brought in a new young girl fresh out of school. I have no issues with that at all. Took my guy to his appointment and when I went to pick him up he was chopped all to pieces, not groomed properly, and his skin had been cut deeply in several places. He developed Staph infection from the shears the young lady used not being cleaned properly. He had to have medicated shampoos from vet, weekly shots for a month straight, and oral antibiotics. I never called and complained at all. When I heard that groomer had left and my little man was cleared to be groomed again I called to make another appointment. I was then informed by the “new” groomer they were told not to groom my guy again because I had told someone about him getting a staph infection from the last groomer. I have since reached out to corporate and they will not return my calls and I have reached out to the supposed Halle Olsen who is over them with no response. This place is so beyond unprofessional it makes no sense. I never reached out to them and ask for refund for the grooming I paid for that ended in my dog being physically sick. Never asked the to cover vet bills or anything.

All I can say is it's just okay. If you need something for your pets specialty items or special feed they have it. Prices are average slightly high on some items. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Standard issue Big Box store.

The associate at the register was extremely helpful and friendly. I was greeted as well as asked if I needed assistance immediately upon walking in. I had a fast and easy store pickup experience. The associate recommended dog treats that were at the register and my dogs loved them. I will be back.

I went into the store today right before lunch. It smelled like urine. As I walked through the store I found 5 puddles of urine. I told the staff and she didn’t bother to clean it up. I guess when someone falls and sues them they will clean up the floors. Won’t shop there again.

I went Tuesday Evening to Pet Depot, my dog was missing hair on her back end to which I contributed to a Flea Allergy. So I went in for Advantage Flea solution, an was concerned about it possibly irritating her little bald spot. So a female assistant (I didn’t catch her name) comes over to inspect the area.Upon her inspection she says very matter of factly “your dog has mange, you need to take her to the vet.”I would’ve been fine with that, oh but it didn’t stop there. I asked if they had anything to help control it or help until I got to the doctor( thank god I didn’t buy it either...you’ll find out why soon.) So she gets back down and continue to “inspect” my dog, she asks me how long this has been going on. To which I replied “she just started losing her hair over the last couple of days” she shakes here head then continues “she has scabs from sores....” as she feels through my dogs fur “this has to be two months worth of damage, not a couple of days or even weeks. I’m surprised she’s not covered in mange.” So she’s insinuating I’ve neglected my dog for two months, although her fur just started coming out over the last couple of days. I said “Well what about the bugs (flea’s) in her fur.” She says “There’s no bugs on that dog, there’s mites which will get under her skin...” She’s saying I didn’t just see bugs/fleas on my dog 10 minutes prior to coming up there....which started this whole trip.Her attitude and “knowledge” made me feel like the smallest person in the store, an a terrible dog owner.There was gentleman who also worked there that was witnessing it all by the way.So they tell me not to buy anything and take her to the vet, which would’ve been good advice and I would have done as they said from the get go had she stopped there.So I go to the vet. It’s not mange. Actually it’s a FLEA ALLERGY. Which has caused her to itch and bite so much that her hair has come out.I won’t be back to Pet Depot. Which sucks, because I’ve had wonderful service there. As long as she’s working there, I can’t go back.I’ve never been so disrespected in all my life and treated like I don’t take care of my animals. My ignorance to mange shouldn’t have been condemned or treated badly for it, as I’ve never had a dog with Mange (and still don’t.) I’ve known my dog has had dry skin for years, I guess that’s where the “mange” assumption came in. Giving information is one thing but insulting my “pet parenting” is where I draw the line. I love my animals and I wouldn’t just let something go unnoticed. We’ve had issues with flea’s and know what a flea allergy looks like, so I thought I’d save a little of money and get her to stop biting that area to start because we’ve done this before.

Not a huge fan of big chain pet stores, this Pet Depot is different. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and always has the stuff I need! Good prices too! They seem to really care about animals here.

We have been using them for years and we are always pleased with their product selection, and their grooming salon does a great job with reasonable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Feeder Rodents are delivered on Tuesdays. I strongly suggest calling before you get there to make sure they have the mice or rats that you need. Always clean and healthy, apparently there are just a lot of snake owners nearby because they run out every week. Very helpful staff

Staff is friendly but had a not so great experience buying wax worms. He went in the back to get them and when I got home, every single one of them was dead and dried up. Not getting feeders from them again. Also, they way they keep the leopard geckos temporary enclosure infuriates me every time I've had to go in. Hope they fixed it since I've been there. There was only a plant and a bowl.

They have great deals on there cage bundle for animals my 2 bunnies love there new home and my room dose not smell pee i only have to do a full cleaning every 9 day that is good especially with 2 bunnies

I only have pet birds i only shop for bird accessories and food.. that being said, i fell in love with the bird cages!! They are huge!! Cheap and look like really good quality... would highly recommend to at least go and browse around
