So, wanting something different, a taste of local cuisine, I looked up this place and took a extended lunch break in my travels and drove 25 mins to give them a whirl. This little place is beside a Chevron convenience store and is very busy, especially on Fridays, however they do stay open until 8pm on Fridays. Mon-Thur they close at 2pm and was told the best time to come was 10:55am or 1pm, you choose. Upon walking in it was a seat yourself with table service and pay at the register when done kind of place. Service was extremely friendly and I wasn't even seated good when the waitress came and took my drink order. With the tea arriving I placed my order which took a fair time to receive a fresh cooked to order meal. The tea was light to medium in color and not overly sweet, yet still very sweet. It could have had a little stronger tea flavor. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger with what I would call shoe string onion rings. The burger was cooked to a medium well and it was a hand patted, super thick burger with some flavor too it. The gravy on the burger tasted good and was not re-warmed, the mushrooms were tasty as well. The onion rings were some of the best that I've put in my mouth, WOW! With a crispy batter outside, the onion itself was cooked so as not to be undercooked and chewy, these were cooked to perfection. This was a great meal for under 15.00 and if your in the area, stop in and give them a whirl!! Two thumbs up from me.On a funny side note, with all the pictures I took the waitress was concerned something was wrong, when I was simply preparing for this review, thank you for you concern ma'am, God bless!Parking: Out front and left, there's not a lot of parking when full.

Some of the friendliest people in Harpersville. I believe they only do breakfast and lunch (not sure) but the quality of food and the effort is great. Connected to the Chevron, get gas and get home style cooked food. Stop in and try if you’re passing through. From burgers, to wings, to salads, to breakfast food (which is served all day), the food here is delicious. I've never had to wait long for my order to be served, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is reasonably priced too. Highly recommended.

The waitress was really good to talk to and ask for things.I had the chocolate chip pancakes, and it really wasn't worth the money paid for. One thin pancake, no bacon, eggs or toast. It cost $4 just for one pancake. It was good, but not $4 worth. I am happy that I was given chocolate syrup to go with it. I would eat here again because of my waitress and her attitude. It was great.

What a great find! I"ve seen the place for years and ignored it because I thought 'Next to a gas station, no thank you.' Well, that snobby part of me has made me not go to a great place for years!Think of great food, 1950's diner friendly, breakfast available all day, great burgers, etc. and it is even better than that. If you are near here and are hungry, or near here and not hungry, you must stop by, you will not be disappointed.

We don't get to go as often as we would like as it is a long distance from where we live, however, business takes us to the area occasionally and we make it our plan to go there for lunch. Our food is always good and tasty and the welcome and hospitality is refreshing. It a small town country diner with good food and good folks. Love it!

My husband and myself stopped here, first time, at 11:00am ,still at 12:00 we were still waiting for our food. , 5 -6 people at tables had already walked out. Turns out had a call for 80 to go orders. . Would we come.back. probably not. ,but then again I've been here at a place working with same dilemma. So myself I would come back at some time. Husband said burger wasn't that good. Philia steak was good. Onion rings , good..

We read some really great reviews on this place, so decided to stop for lunch.Arrived at around 12:15 and it was busy.Ordered Cheeseburger and fries and wife ordered Turkey Sandwich w/onion rings.Took quite awhile for food to arrive, but they were busy, so no problem.Cheeseburger was lukewarm and overcooked. The cheese was not melted on the burger. The bun was cold...fresh out of the refrigerator. My fries were room temperature, they had been sitting for awhile, prior to me getting them.Wife's Turkey on the sandwich was cold...after we were done eating the waitress said she could have had the turkey put on the flattop to warm it. Thats nice to know, after she had eaten the sandwich. Should have let us know that when we ordered. Onion Rings were good...Maybe we just arrived at the wrong time, lunch rush.... but won't find that out....won't be back.

The coffee shoppe is a planned stop on our family adventures through the area! When we go to our place on the lake if we don't stop my kids get upset. They love the friendly staff and the food they make special just for them.The food they serve is not like any other roadside dinner. You will be well pleased with Coffee Shoppe and staff.

Great little place to get a burger. If you're in a hurry you might want to wait to you have a little time to experience this little place. They have pretty decent food, would be outstanding if they used ground beef instead of ground chuck/round. Good prices for what you get.

Would 100% recommend this place to everyone, great and friendly people ,food is awesome and I've been by this place numerous times and never knew the food was this great ,a good friend recommend this place to me ,hamburgers.....OMG, the double is massive, you will have to unhinged your jaw 😀 but yes great people good food stop by and check them out ...you won't regret it !!

This is a really cute small and old fashioned restaurant. It reminds me of the old diner my Daddy owned back in the early 1960's Great atmosphere, great food, pleasant staff! Worth a drive to get there for lunch or breakfast.
