As far as services go, I’d say they are on par with any vet I’ve been to. I like the place. What I don’t like is when people aren’t up front with pricing. I was told several times the price would be around $184 for a check up. Which is the only reason I drove out of town for this vet. They never told me what was or was not included in this and just said “we are going to go ahead with this or that”. I end up with a $440 bill that isn’t told to me until I hand them my card. Obviously vets have a business to run and they have to make money. I just think you should always let the customer know up front how much services are so they can decide what they need to spend in the moment. They also just walk in the room promoting preventative medicine and when I ask how much, instead of giving me a price they said “well you save like $30 if you go ahead with the 12 month supply”. How do I know what $30 off is if you don’t tell me a total? When I asked the total again the girl didn’t know and had to look it up. When people aren’t knowledgeable in your field of service you should always make it a point to educate and be transparent. Heart worm check? Vaccines? Anything. Just tell a price for each before you do it. Don’t just say should we proceed when the customer doesn’t know what’s included in a previously told price or how much a service cost. Just a critique that could help this otherwise good practice.

The new vet is horrible. Pushy pushy pushy. Very annoying. $375 for just a checkup and rabies shot. No wonder why people don't bring their pets to a vet.

Seriously the MOST HELPFUL STAFF. A little pricey, but I'm not sure if that's actually them or a reflection of everything just getting more expensive. They seemed busy, but we hardly had to wait for care.Sidenote, I do wish they'd bring their boarding options back! If they did we'd use them for all vaccine updates when boarding. :)

I have finally found the perfect vet for my precious pup. Everyone at Animal House is courteous and truly cares about your 4 legged family member. It’s so refreshing to not be herded through and made to feel like a number, they really listen to your concerns and form a reasonable treatment plan. Both of my adult children have also switched to Animal House.

I unexpectedly had to use Dr. Burt when my Chihuahua needed to be put to sleep and I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate staff. I was so impressed that I immediately decided to start using them for all my vet needs. Since then I have taken my other Chihuahua in for exam, shots and dental work. They were great with her and she wasn't even scared or scarred from the experience. Would definitely recommend these great folks. They will also be offering grooming and boarding next door very soon as well.Update- We are now on year two of Dr. Burt treating my Chihuahua for CHF and grade 5/6 heart murmur. She has been wonderful treating her and making sure I understand the meds and what is going on with the heart. I didn't think my senior girl(almost 15) would still be here with the severity of her diagnosis but with Dr. Burt's help she is hopefully going to see 15. The staff has been great as well and always treat Missy with love.

Today was our first appointment and it was 5 stars all the way. Staff was very nice and professional. Answered all my questions and took so much time with Willow. A big thank you to Dr. Burt and her staff so happy to have you taking care of my new baby.

I was excited about this place until I seen blood and saw that they had cut my Shih tzu face with no explanation. My puppy was scared and shaking. I called to let them know I was super upset, they said the lady who does the grooming had just got back in town. No one called to see what were my concerns nor did they try to rectify the situation. I will be reaching out to the board.

Be careful coming into the parking lot because it's a little rough.They are very helpful and downtown earth. I have been there twice to take my 2 Shih tuz litter's and they make you feel like you've been going there for years.

If you love your animal, do not take them here. We brought our cat in because he began having seizures and lost weight. The vet did no blood work or even really examined him at all. She said “it’s normal for older cats to have seizures.” She also stated his weight was good. Today, our cat had 3 seizures within an hour. We took him to an emergency vet hospital. The vet at the hospital told us seizures are very unusual in cats and that he was underweight. Further testing revealed that he has lung cancer and arthritis. They are still doing testing to determine what’s causing his seizures. The vet at Animal House was completely unprofessional and uncaring. I can’t imagine how heartless you have to be to not do your job and let an animal suffer.

Moved my dogs here because of the closeness, I have a dog that gets carsick. I was trying to make it a little bit easier for my baby. The vet and the tech were wonderful! However, the pricing was doubled from that of my old vet. Then when it came to filling the scripts, they would not approve chewy. My husband asked for a paper script and they would not give him one. So we got their records and went back to the other Dr. Like I said the only reason we changed was for the smaller car ride for our baby. Prices are double. That's ridiculous.

We were visiting the area for the week of Thanksgiving and my six year old energetic Boxer/French Mastiff mix somehow injured her left front leg on the first day we arrived. We suspect it was during horseplay with our other dogs. Fortunately we happened to be right down the road from Animal House so my wife took her in to see what was injured.She arrived before even the first employee was there and waited for the office to open. Well, that wasn't happening. After the first person got there, even before the listed open time came, they came right out to welcome them in. They were very sweet, caring, and showed genuine concern for our fur baby.Luckily it ended up being a soft tissue injury with nothing broken. We even requested an additional check (because we are very protective of her) which they did right away to rule any other possibility out. They prescribed meds and got her back home very quickly on the mend.I have high standards to a fault and am VERY particular about the care my dogs receive. Animal House not only met but exceeded my standards. I don't have the adequate words for the praise I have for them. Probably one of the best veterinarians I have ever been to.

Had to have my little boy Storm kitty assisted in his passing. The people were so nice and comforting. So thankful for the help. It made my little buddy feel comfortable before the end. Can't thank them enough. The doctor was so sweet and comforting to my little buddy. Would highly recommend them to anyone. They truly care.

We have been going here for years. We loved Dr. Becky but really love the new Vet. She cares about the business and the pets. They all are kind and helpful. The even have an online pharmacy for their patients. They have a new grooming facility and everything is always clean.

My boy joe ( he's a bully ) was very sick and they were so good with him. He had stay for 4 days and they kept me informed the whole time how he was doing and the price was not as high as I was afraid would be. I will be takeing my fur baby's their from now on. Was time to auto ship my Triflexis but this vet refused to approve. Would only approve 4 months. This is the first time this has happened to me, other vets always approved. I’m responsible pet owner, get vaccinations, all yearly test, tags, teeth cleaning. What good is auto ship with Pharmacy (Covetrus) if vet doesn’t approve. Will never return to this place!

I read the wonderful reviews and figured it was worth a try since we had just moved to the area and needed a new vet for my 2 small dogs. We tried them out today, dropping off the dogs for baths and nail trimmings. I cannot say enough good things about them! From the moment we walked in, they welcomed us and made my puppies feel comfortable. When I picked them up, they told me that one of mine was very hard to trim his nails, but she was very positive about it, making sure that I understood that they are still welcome back! They came home smelling great and not acting nervous like they do sometimes when they go to the vet. We have absolutely found our new vet!

Dr. Becky & her entire staff are some of the most caring staff/people I have ever visited. The genuine love for all animals that everyone there has is so refreshing. They won't let an animal die if an individual cannot pay the entire bill. Obviously they prefer you do, but an animal won't suffer because of it.

Dr. Becky and her staff were amazing. We had an emergency with our beloved Cali, a 15 year old calico cat who developed sudden labored breathing over the weekend. We knew something was wrong. We made an appointment and were there within an hour. Sadly for us and our sweet baby, Cali had undiagnosed cancer that compromised her quality of life and her ability to recover. Dr. Becky and her staff helped us with the difficult decision we faced and helped Cali peacefully pasd in comfort and without pain. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Becky and her staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will continue to take our other three pups there in the future.

Dr. Becky was okay. Anthony the tech was amazing. Our furbabies loved him. Especially our husky. However, one lady, I won't name names, is very rude and condescending. The other lady is very scattered. Too much drama forced us to leave. I got tired of being talked down to. We tried to stick it out for our husky because he really took to Anthony but if we stayed there I would've ended up saying some mean things.
