The pharmacy there is full of liars. I normally would have gone to the Veterans Affairs office for my medication but I just had surgery and decided to go to a local pharmacy rather than travel to Birmingham. When i went to the pharmacy, they told me that they applied a discount for medication the VA always covers. Turns out they lied and didnt apply any discount. I've gotten medication with my VA benefits before and I was not charged. This pharmacy is full of LIARS, LIARS, LIARS. Instead of being honest and saying there was no discount or that my VA benefits dont apply there, which i know it does, they LIED. Since they are so comfortable lying to customers about matters like this I will be reporting this and giving them as much of a headache as I can.

One person left to handle walk in pharm., drive thru,and the phone, Friday afternoon at 5 pm.Was told to come back at 5,then told it would be the next day..Management is missing..

This store has the best customer service in the nicest staff ever it's absolutely the best CVS I've ever been in anywhere they really are outstanding I would if I would recommend anybody go

This CVS is great! I shop here often. Becky, the pharmacist and her staff are courteous and professional, the prices for medicine is reasonable. I also like the large selection of make-up items, it's a great buy when I use my extra-bucks rewards. CVS also sends out discount coupons as an additional reward.

Trying to have my medications filled at the Hanceville CVS has been very frustrating. Many times the employees say I don't have refills or that the doctor had not called a prescription in, when actually, the medications WERE ready to refill. Also, many, many times I received phone texts from CVS telling me that a medicine was automatically refilled or that a prescription was ready for pick up. When I arrived at the stores, the employees didn't know what I was talking about. They had NOTHING ready for pick up. Because of these errors, I have had to go without my medication for several days while they figured out their error... The employees were always friendly, however. I now do business with Blue and Gray Drugs in Hanceville. Their service is much more dependable.

The little girl with pigtails thinks she can close the store early. Doors were unlocked and I was inside trying to use the atm and was made to leave before closing hours. Then refused to give her name or her managers name. Just amazes me this employee makes her on hours to her liking. Very disappointing to say the least. Will never shop CVS Hanceville again and would recommend that anyone else doesn't either!

Used to be a good place. Now they have messed up my refill schedule and 2 of the employees were rude to me. They told me I should have been out of my medication months ago, yet I am not. Then they tell me I never picked up my meds so they got sent back. I am on their text program and never was told I was suppose to pick up anything. They have not a clue. How can I be out of a med 3 months that I have to take 2 times a day? I will tell you.....Im not, but I will be. I have picked up everything I was told was ready. I need my meds now I cant get the insurance to pay for them due to their mess up.

I tried to fill 2 prescriptions and had one of the worst retail experiences that i have ever had. When i gave the pharmacist my prescriptions I told him that I had Good RX coupons on my phone and tried to show him but he just walked off so I thought everything was ok. When I was called back to pay one of the meds was almost 50 dollars than the coupon rate. When I questioned the price the Pharmacy Tech rolled her eyes and started popping her gum in my face. The Pharmacist then said I told him I had the coupon but did not give a card, Good RX is an app, so i didn't get the discount. So i showed the tech the coupons and she told me she didn't need them she could just do it herself. She told me that it would be another 10 minutes and when I questioned why such a long time to change the price they refused to fill the medicine and returned my paper prescriptions. I asked to speak to the store manager and was informed by the Tech that he was not there so at this point all i could do is leave.Once home called back to the store to get the pharmacist and technicians names and licences number. Well the store manager answered the phone. He then preceeded to tell me that he could not give that information until I told him that it was a matter of public record and that if it was not posted in plain view that they were committing a crime. So when he finally gave me the pharmacist's name , Charlie, i filed a complaint with CVS and the state pharmacy board.Also I called around to 2 other CVS stores to check cash prices and found out that he was going to charge me more than the other stores.It is no wonder that BCBS of Alabama will no longer deal with CVS.I would avoid doing this store at all costs in the future. It would seem that CVS has a standard to only hire rude people along with liars and cheats.

The pharmacists and the store employees are always very friendly and helpful. I shop here often. I have to say, though, that this store has the dirtiest restroom of any CVS store that I have ever visited. I usually try to take my children to a pharmacy if we must use a public restroom, because they are typically cleaner. This store is an exception.

I would not recommend using cvs for your pharmacy need or anything g in general. I had to wait a week to pick up my prescription for my 1 year old daughter cause they would not give it to me without her Insurance card which was stolen. They whole time they called letting me know my prescription was ready. Then I go and pick it up and they would not give it to me. I will never use cvs again!!! Not even worth 1 star.

I needed Benadryl for my dog and was afraid to leave her alone in the car. The pharmacy picked it out for me and let me go through the drive through. That’s customer service at its finest. Thank you so much.
