Down home feel with the right amount of modern selection. In my entire life I've only actually known one person to ever say a bad word about the pig. It just so happens that that person worked there and they weren't the best worker anywayand I can attest to that firsthand because after they left piggly wiggly, they ended up working at the same place where I was employed. That didn't last long. I figure piggly wiggly having them employed there for an entire year was probably an indicator that they're generous. As far as I know, no one has a bad word to say about the place. Not employees and definitely not customers. It just seems nice and effortless when you shop there like there's no pressure, no stress and everybody there is your buddy if we're talking about the ones who have worked there for about a million years. They have a great variety of discounted itemsand their deli it's par for the course when it comes to grocery stores of that size. I don't often see it get backed up at the registers because they typically keep cashiers well on staff and doing what they're supposed to be doing on the clock. All along, it's a pretty efficient store with a decent enough variety and pretty good prices. They even go against the grain when it comes to some grocery stores because they'll even mark down the milk and move that stuff out the door as quick as possible when it's going to go out of date in a day or two because at the end of the day, they're trying not to lose money and they pass that savings on to the customer. Used to be friendly service and great people.When I said the pricing has greatly increased, the assistant managertold me that "There were other stores to shop at." I spend at min $300 weekly here for the last 15 yr. I'll be going to Goars!We got 2 buggies for the price of one in v/s the Pig. Priceless in Russleville is also a much better option to buy bulk.

Produce department is outstanding and beautiful. Well kept and makes me want to buy tons of fruit and Vegetables. The meat department and dairy department are clean and well kept . Overall a great place to shop and they have more than 2 cashiers open at one time and you don't stand in line for 30 minutes.

Great place to grocery shop! The store is always clean and easy to navigate through while shopping. The employees are always friendly & very helpful. The items are always fresh and there's a good selection to choose from. In my opinion, Piggly Wiggly is a great store all around!

I like shopping here. I know my meat is fresh, it doesn't come in frozen like at Walmart. If I want a certain size I just ask for it and a butcher will cut it for me. One time I ask for a 8lb. roast beef to make roast beef sandwichs out of. Took them about 4-5 mins. only glad to help. People are always polite and helpful not like Walmart where you can't find some one that's not stocking somewhere else and no chocolate milk in freezer but you can see it back there in the little black containers.

Absolutely WONDERFUL shopping experience! FRESH DELICIOUS produce! FRESH meat! CLEAN store! FRIENDLY and GREAT, LOW, REASONABLE PRICES! Chuck, the manager, made me feel welcomed from the moment I spoke with him, on the phone, inquiring about parking accommodations for my big rig. I travel across the country and have, in the past, grocery shopped entirely at W_L-Mart. By far, this local store, Piggly Wiggly, has out-surpassed all of the W_L-Marts I have ever been to in all of my 3 years driving semi across the U.S. I NEVER have written a review but felt this review could help others to APPRECIATE and VALUE this EXCEPTIONAL GEM of a grocery store. The QUALITY rises LEVELS ABOVE nearby competitors. There is absolutely no comparison to the many times of finding rotting, poor quality, poor tasting produce in W_L-Mart. Even if, by chance, the prices are higher, the products at Piggly Wiggly are well worth your money because of the high quality alone. Meat prices are phenomenal compared to nearly everything at W_L-Mart being priced at $4.99-$5.99 a pound (and higher) regardless of the cut of meat. Include the quality difference and it's a no-brainer! There is NO tasteless, watered-down, out-ragiously priced meat at Piggly Wiggly. I highly recommend shopping at this FINE store. I was greatly surprised and impressed. I wish I could continue to do all of my grocery shopping here. Unfortunately, I can't due to my job. Perhaps you can enjoy it for me!

If I could give no stars, I would. They sold us 2 sandwiches. When opened, they were rotten. They refused to exchange. If their sandwiches are that old, there is nothing in that store I would purchase. Horrible service.
