So I've been going here for years and never had any problems. I go yesterday and the girl who is work the first register around 3-430pm is bad mouthing the military and wouldn't you know it she's about the same color as someone who flew into the twin towers. I think she should be fired. I know I won't be back for sure

Not my #1 choice for groceries because they are kinda expensive compared to our other stores but they are one of the few places that still carry out your groceries and load them in your car. They are always friendly and always have a clean store.(I just chose to take my own buggy out, but they always offer)

I work with an agency in the area that uses Goar's to buy groceries when our stock truck runs late or does not deliver all of our items. I have been working there for 1 year and 1 month and we have never had any problems with Goar's until approximately the last month. When we now purchase products to fix meals for those we serve at our agency, we realize quickly that a lot of the meat we have been getting is bad and that their produce is now infested with roaches. It's not obvious when we buy the fruit because of the bag it is in and due to the roaches hiding beneath the fruit, but when we have opened a bag of, for example, apples, small roaches scatter out of the bag. This has not just been a one-time thing recently. It has happened with other products we have bought there as well. While the staff there are very nice and helpful to us, we are going to no longer use Goar's as our supplemental grocery store for when we need to buy extra food in the morning when we realize we do not already have something we need in stock or when we do not have enough of what we need due to our very unpredictable and inconvenient food truck delivery service. We really enjoyed using Goar's because of their hospitality and accommodations, but we cannot have bugs infesting our workplace because of this, and we cannot serve bad meat. This is really sad considering we have had really good experiences with Goar's in the past, so they definitely need to consider some serious extermination and search through their own delivery trucks very carefully before stocking the items. We would like to continue using Goar's in the future, but that is just an absolute impossibility at this time. I just wanted to write this review to warn everyone else in the area that shops there. Like I said, we have only be seeing these issues within the past one to two months, so I'm not sure what they are doing differently, but they need to revert back to what they were doing before.

The employees are all friendly, the store is clean and we'll stocked. They have a deli inside the store and the fried chicken is great ! There is also a pharmacy inside the store( Roberts Family Pharmacy). I like this store and would recommend it. There is plenty of plenty of parking on both sides of the store , handicapped parking and wheelchair accessable.

Nothing against the store owner or the employees working here but the store seems to need some maintenance and a remodel of some sort kinda looking rough in areas, but at the same time the building is pretty old I remember going here when I was 5 and I'm 36 and I know it's probably close to at least twice that age

It's nice but I give it a three because things here are double priced . Example same great value coffee creamer I get at Walmarts for a dollar eighty three you will pay almost six dollars . Not being mean but it could just be a little bit less on expenses for consumers. I understand about making profit. I ended up buying the liquid coffee creamer for 3 dollars less.

This supermarket usually has the best selection of fruit. That is also price wise. They have a dollar section. They also have a deli for lunch and supper. Usually have several selections of meat, roast beef with carrots and potatoes, chicken fingers, deep fried chicken, baked chicken, baked ham. Multiple choices for veg. I love their sweet potato casserole. Yum Yum. Served with a roll and ice tea. At a very affordable price. They also have a pharmacy inside the store. Drop off your scripts, go shopping when done pick up your scripts.

Family oriented run business. Friendly personnel and a clean atmosphere. Just buyer beware of poultry on sale. (Especially leg quarters) On more than one occasion brought home poultry that has gone bad or on the verge of going bad. Need better quality control for your poultry.

Always wonderful!!! Friendly, helpful employees who seem to enjoy their jobs, a clean store every visit and wonderful meat selection as well as fruit & veggies. This is my favorite store in town to grocery shop at or just run in for something random we need like today; rubber gloves and degreaser. They had both!! :)

I love shopping at Goars! Staff is usually always kind and some are very friendly and always helpful! I like the point system or whatever you want to call it where you earn to get free items. I always get milk!

I love this grocery. They have "truck load" sales once in a while. I once bought a 10 lb. box of bacon for about $17.00. GOOD, not the all grease stuff. Great meat department ! Better have a deep freezer!

Known as Goars,that is what is on there sign also.Just great and extremely helpful with anything.Good product and fair priced on most items.The only place in town too get whole country hams,which is great and the price is usually good to.My favorite grocery store.Also there hot food is really great,especially for lunches,so much better than fast food restaurants.Never disappointed in the 12yrs I have been shopping there. I love all the additions that the mgt has made to better serve the community. Its hard to compete with the large chain stores. But Tim Goar is always polite, the store is ammulcate, the employees are friendly and willing to help their customers.
