Made a quick stop while still a half hour from home. For a small town store, the selection was pretty good. While a few prices raised an eyebrow, several exceptional deals were encountered, and some were purchased. All in all, a jewel for such a small town.

Friendly workers, they have all the necessities, yes the prices are bit higher than you’d see at Walmart, but this is a small town family owned market. They have GREAT deals though! We always find good things with the 5 for $20 in the frozen section, and if we want canned drinks we always buy in bulk through whatever deal they’re offering (etc 3/$11)

Had all the necessities you expect from a neighborhood market: from fresh food, frozen foods, meats, spices, toiletries, etc.We bought all we needed for breakfast and dinner a few nights we visited Dismals Canyon; we’re from out of town.Staff were friendly and helpful and showed us how to find a liquor store down the road for some wine to go with our dinner.

It's okay for a quick item or two but somewhat expensive. I don't buy groceries there regularly. Can't afford it. Their meat section is very good n affordable. And they have good sale items often.

Got good rib eyes and their homemade sausage. You have to watch some prices. They have a small deli which is nice for meat and cheese. We only ate in the restaurant once but it was ok so maybe I will try it again.

My favorite grocery store. They have a unique selection of groceries and other items to choose from, not the same boring stuff. Everyone is friendly & remember you from your last visit. They ask how you've been. Always happy to see you come in.

Great meat and two (or three). Vegetables were really good, which I appreciate because some small diners don't put alot of effort into the sides. Also nice to have a good place to eat in a small town.

Prices are so high, we drive an hour away to buy one big bulk of groceries for the month, Its the only grocery in this town and the only other options are more than 20 mins away. I will say the cafe inside the store is good.

The customer service is always great at both the grocery store & cafe & you won’t find a cleaner store anywhere. Grocery prices are competitive. Yes, some things are more expensive, but people forget this is a locally owned business that doesn’t have its own warehouse like Piggly Wiggly. It costs them more, much more on certain items, to stock items than Wal-Mart & larger national chains. Hands down the best meat department within driving distance. Again, some meat prices may be higher, but you get what you pay for. I’d rather pay more for a top quality, hand cut ribeye than get a cheaper, lower quality steak somewhere else that’s tougher than leather & almost as tasty. Overall, anybody from Hackleburg who doesn’t buy local must’ve forgotten what it was like doing without the convenience of a local grocery store for three years. I know we all have to buy stuff out of town, but for the sake of our town, shop locally as often as you can.
