Dr. Moody is wonderful! One can tell that he really cares about the animals. My dogs never seemed afraid of him as they were with a previous vet clinic. The office staff are really nice and accommodating too. Overall great experience we have had the last 4 years of going to Gurley Animal Clinic.

I am disappointed to report my less than satisfactory experience with Gurley Animal Clinic. Despite multiple attempts over a two-week period to get a prescription refill, I received no response. Adding to the frustration, the receptionist’s demeanor was rather unfriendly each time I called. This lack of customer care and communication is concerning and unprofessional. I hope my experience is not a reflection of their typical practice. It is really unfortunate because we really liked Dr. Moody.

The folks at Gurley Animal Clinic are great! I brought to them my hundred plus pound dog who decided to be grumpy and growl and they handled him with kid gloves and the utmost professionalism kudos to them! They even gave him a treat but he spit it out and continued growling. I would recommend this animal clinic to anybody that asks.

Whoever answered the phone around 8AM this morning was rude. I called about a dog that I found and needed to see a vet and was met with “DON’T YOU HAVE A VET ALREADY”? Then continued to grill me about who exactly my current vet was. Now why on God’s green earth would this woman assume I already have a vet? And what difference does it make if I did? If you don’t want me to bring an animal to your office for a simple checkup then just come out and say it cause that’s basically what I got from that conversation.

They brought my dog Lewis in today the receptionist was extremely polite and could tell she really cared about the situation because they are only open from 8am to 12 we were in Scottsborro at Phillips animal care and they turned us away said they only do appointments on Saturdays my dog was on deaths door the office Gurley was extremely clean and everyone was very polite. The vet went above and beyond to save my dog you can tell he really cares about the animals and are reasonable affordable I owe these people my sons life thank you Gurley animal care for saving my son I highly recommend if you are looking for a vet Dr Moody is the best out there …

My kitty had never been here but I live close and wanted to get her established. Before I could do that, she ended up at the Emergency Vet clinic because of some sort of stroke episode. When I called the next morning they worked me in for a follow up even though they had never seen her before and were very busy. They were kind and compassionate from start to finish. I was comfortable and felt they really cared about my little Sophie. Dr Moody was knowledgeable and took the time to make sure I was happy with the diagnosis and treatment. This clinic is awesome and I will definitely be making them my regular vet. Thank you so much!

After having an emergency and unable to get to Grant Animal Clinic due to being closed for two days for the holiday we came to Gurley and absolutely love the staff and doctor. It's so nice to find someone who's concerned about your pets and their well being. They well be taking care of all our dogs needs and cares for this point on.

We started going to Gurley animal clinic this year and we have been so impressed with their care for our dog. They are very compassionate and kind toward us and our dog. We lost our dog about 2 weeks ago Dr. Moody and staff so kindly sent us a card in the mail to show their thoughtfulness towards our family in losing our dog Ginger. We were so touched. I highly recommend Dr. Moody and staff. The lady at the front desk is so very sweet. Their prices are very affordable and the care is top notch. Thank you so much to Dr. Moody and staff.

We consider our pups to be a part of our family (yes, we’re the crazy people whose dogs are on their Christmas card), so we are as particular about their vet as we are our own doctor. Dr. Moody is always so kind and thorough each exam we have been to with him. Front staff is welcoming and accommodating for appointments. You can tell they truly care about your fur babies. Even though they have as good of quality as all the other vets around we have been too... if not better... their prices are much more reasonable. I can’t recommend them enough!

I'm a new customer and just adopted a new pet. She was having issues with itching and ear infection. When I called them and told them that there was an issue, they made a huge effort and got me in.They were very friendly, clean, and efficient. They quickly identified what the skin issues were, gave her medicine to resolve them. Then they diagnosed and helped me deal with her heartworms that she had from her previous owners.All in all, it's a great clinic.

Best vet! Wow! We took our chihuahua in thinking it would be his last vet visit ever. He had been coughing and making choking noises for over a week. The doctor did great with him, examined him thoroughly, and took the time to explain everything in detail. He offered us several treatment options but told us he wouldn't give up on him yet. We took our dog home and he is resting comfortably for the first time in several weeks. Also, the price of our visit was very reasonable. Everyone in the office was fantastic!

Best Vet Clinic Ever! They looked after my dog in his senior years and to his final days with love, gentleness and understanding. They took the time to explain things to me when the time came. What my options were, what would happen, etc. I cannot thank them enough for their patience. This was my first time having to put my dog down who was by my side for 16 years. They made a very difficult situation as easy as it could be.

It is such a shame what this vet clinic has turned into. My family and I, for at least the past 15 years, have been going to this animal clinic, and today is the last day that we will be going back. They require for you to phone to come in due to COVID procedures (which is understandable); however, being rude and unprofessional when answering the phone is uncalled for. I have called within the past few weeks to check and confirm prices and availability for a cat, and was quoted about $50 and another ~$20 for a 3 year rabies vaccine and the FLFVR-CP vaccine and was told that was it for the charges. Today I got about $133 bill, and was yelled at and disrespect over it; because, I question why I was getting charged so much. I called after the appointment to ask a simple polite question, and they hung up on me. I used to recommend this vet clinic to anyone in the area; but after today, I will no longer recommend this clinic and tell everyone I know to not come here anymore.

They are quite busy, but when my Frenchie was having itching and ear issues they squeezed me in. Quickly identified the problem, got some meds, and out the door. Very friendly, quick service, couldn't be happier.

First time going to Gurley Animal clinic. Dog was sick, no local vet opened on Saturday. Got there as opened and out within 45 minutes as a workin. Loved the doctor, very knowledgeable and helpful receptionist. Great expwrience. Will most likely move my business there.
