Nothing but bad customer service here. I told the guy 6 times I would like to enter in my phone number for digital coupons. He just kept smiling a “smart a** way* saying go ahead, go ahead” the only way to fix it would have been to refund and re-ring everything. They are all always rude. I wouldn’t shop here if it wasn’t the only thing nearby. I’m not asking for outstanding coworker service but all they had to do was help. Which you would think would be part of working in the public.

Not bad for a dollar general. Great for a quick in & out trip. Prices are starting to rise in these stores.....you'd think they would lower them a little. It's a dollar store, lol. Buy its clean, has a hood selection and staff is nice here.

Bathroom are horrific, gross, no higienic regulations are followed. Gas pumps are not well maintained, receipts often empty, printing receipts fails often. Multiple times I had issues with the diesel pumps. Must go in store to get pump receipts. I gave 2 stars because of quick service and good selection of products.

Only a 4 as I did not get a chance to go in. They did not have paper in the pump so I did not get a receipt, hard on paperwork. Otherwise I would of given a five star. Outside was clean.

This is a ridiculous store 🙄 It's aggravating to come in to shop and can't even walk around this trashy mess... the employees are also rude. So think before you shop here.

Here we are local people of Gurley that always shop here and spend PLENTY of money….. the experience just a few minutes ago on 8/31/22 around 6pm, a RUDE woman named Dorthia or whatever wants to stand over you while you are trying to find a C type charger and then ask “can I help you”? Said “ We’ll they sure aren’t there”! She left the register with customers to come do this action also! The store manager witnessed it himself and seen the ridiculous behavior she had!! This store has always been polite and helpful and is a good hometown store. I have to say now that whoever this woman is, regardless even if she’s a DM, you have no right and you don’t know ANYTHING about customer service and need to be demoted to a buggy retriever and learn how to be a good employee. I will spread this to every person I talk to and also she will be turned into Corporate! I myself managed DG for many years and know very well how it all works and this lady needs dealt with and also owes this customer a face to face apology for accusing her of stealing and for harassing her! That’s bad business and you need to worry about actual thieves not someone who actually needed help finding something you sell!! She is a horrible excuse of a DG employee and now your customer rate is gonna go extremely down!! The stores manager is a nice guy and does well. That so called employee is rude and very judgmental. Judge not!!!! This is not over. Corporate will receive a few calls. Horrible to do someone like that!!!

I love this Dollar general. It has a wide variety of products. You can buy anything from clothing to food and you can even fill up your car here too. They have a gas pump. The cashier's are great and very helpful. I wish they had this one in Scottsboro

I absolutely love this Dollar General. They have fuel pumps and a really nice grocery area. Cold grocery items included. Excellent prices. I wish I could have shopped there more often. I only got to stop when we had doctor appointments in Huntsville or Decatur.

My 5 star is because of Gina a very friendly and helpful employee. It would be great if everyone had her friendliness. I do like this store probably better than any Dollar General

Aisles were extremely tight especially with the big shopping carts. This DG seemed to be extremely unorganized and didn't have the flow like the others I have shopped at. I felt like I was walking around in circles looking for the items I needed to buy as the aisles weren't marked very well. Checking out was a nightmare.Very long lines, and because the cash registers are all on one long counter, made it hard to retrieve my items, to put them in my cart. The checkout aisle was made ever tighter with display boxes of items for sale, and this make it harder for customers that were trying to leave the store with their carts as they didn't have room to move around the person in front of them. This store definitely needs to be re-organized.

I’m very glad Dollar General bought this store and continues to run it after Walmart abandoned their small format stores. Some of them still sit empty to this day and this DG store is a lot nicer than most of their normal stores so I’m happy to shop here.

This Dollar General is much nicer than the others I have been too. They have a larger selection than most and things are displayed nicely. If you're in Gurley you don't have many options so you might as well go here. The only cons are there is usually a line for the bathroom and sometimes the door is locked which leads into the next complaint. I've never seen a worker anywhere other than behind the register.

Wow!!! This is the Mecca of dollar generals! I am visiting from out of state and just went in to get a couple snacks for the road, and wished I had known about this place during my short stay and not just on my way out. I seriously think they may have a better selection than the Piggly wiggly next door! I've never seen a dollar general like this before! Wish the dollar generals around where I live looked like this!

Every time I've been in this store staff has been very friendly and helpful. I travel several miles out of the way to go to this Dollar General while I live at Skyline but won't go the the Skyline Dollar General ONLY if I REALLY NEED TO due to the hateful attitude of Shelia the manager and store is ALWAYS a bunch of junk in aisles and can not get to merchandise.

Pleasant trip on a Sunday Afternoon. Had a few basic items for purchase, and the front checkout service was fast with two cashiers instead of just one. 5 mins in, 5 mins out like it should be. Keep up the good work Gurley DG!!

I was second in line at the register with 4 people behind me. While the cashier was checking out the customer in front of me, and didn't say a word. Another cashier opened up another register and checking out the customers behind me. The first cashier finished with the person in front of me and walked away without saying a word. I felt so disrespected. I left my items on the counter and walked out.

This is like our neighborhood grocery store from when I was a kid. Groceries, toys, bug spray and just about anything else u might need to just pop in and get out. Nice people working there and really good service

I like Dollar General. It's small, has what you need, and good prices. This one has an added benefit of a public restroom and gas pumps. Gas is usually the cheapest in town.

The dollar general in Gurley is mostly women that are caring and always willing to help. I feel the positive energy as I walk through the doors. I need to get my wife a job there as much money as she spendsthere

I have been living here since 2017 an have been buying all my groceries cigarettes toys for my kid’s I mean I been a constant consumer of this store well my son doesn’t like to stay in the carts so I let him run throw the store an have fun but that’s a problem with the store manager an assistant manager they told my wife we need to watch him yesterday I had to put I’m in the cart an I need to watch my kid u know what my kid’s are none of your busy I watch them an keep them safe an provide for them but to tell me what I got to do with MY kid’s is not going to fly I will never be back in that store or buy or tell anyone to go there the pigglywiggly will get all my business I just think the store manager an assistant manager needs to be replaced be cause they are stuck up an very rude do nothing productive for the store but i myself will not be back

I love the blonde manager. She is very good with customer service! Unlike Phyllis who took the blonde managers spot while she were on vacation. Phyllis was rude and unprofessional.

One of the best stocked Dollar Generals I have been in. Very much like a Walmart marketplace store, slightly smaller. Have probably 90% of general groceries and supplies you would find at a Walmart.
