Publix Super Market at Guntersville Landing

I have been to several Publix stores in different areas. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered an issue. I went to the customer service desk to check out with a few items that I had because there were people in the lines. The young lady Savannah at the customer service desk in Guntersville told me we try not to check people out here unless we’re busy, and I’m thinking that rude. Because there was no one at the desk and there were several people in the lines. She said we try to tell everybody this because we try to keep this open for money orders, and things if that’s the policy of the store. It should be something up there that is written, but I’ve never heard of a store say that ever and I’ve been into several of them. She needs to learn what Customer Service means

This place is awesome! Let me start by saying this particular location does not have any self checkout. Not one!! That's worth five stars in itself. It's 8 MI to Oneonta to a decent grocery store AKA Walmart. And it's a 20-mile trip for me round trip, but it's worth it. And the bonus is the scenery. I had no idea it was so beautiful from the parking lot in Publix. It's a nice little Hidden Gem. Publix has an amazing chicken salad, which is why I went in the first place.

Yesterday I came in earlier than expected after my mother's funeral to pick up platters from the deli. Two of the three were ready and the third was ready shortly. They were phenomenal!

Publix is always great and employees are always friendly. Usually only purchase the BOGO's because thier prices are on the high side but if you can afford to shop there it is a better shopping experience hands down to other venues in my area.

We live in the next city over but come here to get our festival and holiday foods. The staff are helpful and friendly giving us a great shopping experience.

We don't usually shop here but it was close and there was plenty of parking and as we entered the store it was very bright and clean and we were greeted by a gentleman stocking some products. We look around a minute and find our direction towards the dairy and they had the brand we were looking for lol one stop shop !!! The cashier was nice and polite also. We would use this store if we lived in Guntersville.

Probably the must un-Publix Publix. Hailey P was too busy to give us a the standard “how are you” instead she was busy discussing her schedule and availability as if there wasn’t a customer. Should probably keep those discussions while not in front of customers. ✌🏽

Very unorganized this would the 4th time my order wasn't correct. Or in this case it wasn't even baked. Ordered a cookie cake for my son's bday go to pick up and they did not have a record of my order even though I had email confirmation. Did not offer any solution other than we could bake you one??? I was on my way to his party .I couldn't wait for u to bake it. Last year on my husband's bday cake I go to pickup and the icing is HOT PINK. NOT what I ordered. In Dec I ordered a platter for a work event to be informed 2 hours prior there were no croissants? On anotherwork event I ordered a platter to be informed 1 hour prior to event you didn't have chicken salad. I learned my lesson. I can't depend on your bakery. Would you like to walk in to your son's bday Without a cake??I would have left 0 stars had that been an option.😡

The store was clean and well organized. We were able to get in and out very quickly. The only thing about shopping here I didn't like was the cashier never even said hello or spoke to us at all. I understand everybody has bad days, but you at least need to make an effort to be kind/nice to customers when in this line of work.

The store is better than many others in the area as far as selection goes. However, the female pharmacist was very complacent about my difficulty having a prescription transferred from another Publix out of state. She obviously doesn't like her job or doesn't like to deal with people. All other personnel that I encountered were very welcoming & helpful.

We called in an order at 4 pm to be ready at 4:30 pm. I didn't receive my order until 4:52. I have never called in an order here before, but I will not be doing it again

Nice middle of the road grocery store. They even have a few healthy things to eat ,which is more than most. Pretty good deli and the subs are the best in this town.!!

Shelves always stocked and if you are having a problem locating an item, just ask one of the friends faces that you see roaming and working seeing that the shelves are stocked and assisting customers locate items of interest it just makes our shopping smooth and simple

The manager is extremely disrespectful to customers. When my grandfather asked for assistance finding bread crumbs, the manager tripped him & called him a name I cannot repeat.
