Do not buy from Mike's merchandise especially the one in guntersville they will tell you one price give you a receipt and debit your account on a total different price this should be against the law. This is a thief. Update Terri was very accommodating took care of the issue without any problems

This place is amazing. We have been driving by it for years and never stopped until today. I had the famous ribs and they were amazing! Perfectly cooked and a very good smokey flavor. My wife and daughter lived their food as well. The inside is also very cool. Very rustic with lots of best stuff to see. We will be back for sure.

I didn't buy anything but my sister did. We did find stuff that we think we need lol. She bought a bunch of cookbooks, and even some jeans (she's very pleased). Not as big as the one in Decatur but still happy. We will be back.

Do not recommend this place they will steal your money I bought 12 packs of Led fluorescent bulbs @ $9 a pack and a $ 7 item and a $ 20 item all for around $140 my debit card was charged $ 316.75 but must receipt shows $146.32 but Mikes merchandise claims they have no knowledge of no over charge but my bank account statement don’t lie so beware and keep and eye open

Great deals and the cashiers were super friendly and helpful. One of the managers could use a bit of work on her customer service and people skills. As we were shopping, the manager could be heard yelling at the cashiers and while we were checking out, we were having a pleasant conversation with our cashier as she rang us up. The aforementioned manager walked up, loudly (and very brashly) instructed the cashiers to "hurry up, there is a line," ignoring the fact that we were standing there cashing out (there were 4 of us with 4 different transactions but we came together) then when the cashier wasn't fast enough to suit the manager, she loudly said "just... go take your break" (again very loud and brash about it), completely rushed us during the rest of our transactions, and then she all but pushed us out the door. (The manager has wavy/curly long, blonde hair, glasses, slim build).Apparently this is common for her; we went back today to grab a few more deals before we headed home (we're not from the area) and when my friend mentioned something to the staff (basically apologizing that they had to work with someone like that and letting letting know they were doing an excellent job and to ensure that our cashier from the previous day knew we appreciated her as well), they apologized profusely and all but said they had heard that many times before. I would absolutely recommend Mike's as the bargains are hard to beat and the cashiers are super friendly and helpful, but would suggest giving the mentioned manager a wide berth while you're there.

One of my favorite stores. Used to take up the whole building where Crazy Cazboy's is now. IIt's still a very large store with good to sometimes great prices on building supplies, paint supplies, household goods, cleaning, gardening, etc... Like a very large old-time Five and Dime store

They have some great bargains here. I have found a variety of merchandise.clothes,cleaning supplies,tools,animal suppies,furniture and much more! Most of the prices are really good but there are a few items I've found cheaper elsewhere.

Mike's has a very wide and unpredictable array of items; everything from books to drill bits. They apparently buy overstocked, returns and closeout items and sell them at big discounts, sometimes. Like any shopping, you have to shop for items that are good deals. Some things seem overpriced to me but many items are great buys. Just shop to find the bargains. A place we'll worth the time but allocate an hour at least..

Hard to describe. Got some time to kill? Great place to do it. Need tools? Yard tools? Auto parts. Clothing? Office supplies? Hardware? Much more. Never know what exactly will be in stock or how long. If you see it and think you want it, best buy it!

This isn't just a Construction store. They have tools,clothing from t- shirts to formal Wear, jewelry, pet supplies,pool supplies,books, some groceries,first aid items, gardening supplies,hardware,paper goods, housewares,school supplies,sunglasses, and way more! The inventory changes every time you go! You will love it!

Its awesome if ya like to bargain hunt. We bought a yearly pass, fairly inexpensive, I go every couple months or so. Bought 10 packs of Peets coffee for a $1.

Mike's is a surplus store. Not military, but rather general. They don't really specialize. They have wide selection of tools, residential and commercial materials, household chemicals and out fittings, food, spices, books decorations, etc. Good place to check out from time to time. Never know what you'll find.

You never know what you're going to find here. The downside is that when it's hot there's no air conditioning they have fans to move the air around but it's still hot and there's lots of space. But you always find some incredible Bargains and fun stuff.

I imagine that this is what would happen if an organized hoarder opened a store. Or maybe if Walmart tried to stay open after the apocalypse. There's a weird variety from bathroom fixtures to cook books to makeup (?!?) but most of it is reasonably priced and in good shape. Found some things I needed and some stuff I probably don't need. Enter at your own risk.

I really liked this place as far as the deals & variety of stuff they had for sale. I could've stayed for hours. The employees however were the least friendly ever but I guess good deals come with a price.

A magical menagerie of treasures and trash intermingled. This place has soooo much but you have to look...and it is a huge place. I saw car hoods,central heat/air conditioning units, books, tools, and every bolt bit and bob in existence. A new favorite place. Friendly staff too!

Gotta pay a fee to buy anything from here. We left before even entering, as there are signs saying "no coats, purses, bags" and $5 daily fee for purchase or an annual fee and you must present a membership card or app to enter. No jackets allowed, and it was a cold day...

At the time my mother went shopping, the cashier marked my mother’s items as 41 instead of 31 today since it was ¢25, so not only the cashier have miscounted the items but was discriminating my mom for her race, and honestly that is the most unacceptable thing I have ever heard, this is not ok at all

I love Mike's! Inventory always changes. Like a box of chocolates, you'll never know what you'll find! I loved Huntsville's store and have visited Decatur's. Just bought a home in Guntersville and thrill to death it's close by!!!
