I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. My dog left with an eye ulcer due to this place. He would not open his eye for two days. $120 vet bill and four days later he is finally back to normal. He was in so much pain when leaving, he was shaking and whining, and he would not leave my side. He also has another place beside his other eye that has dried blood from being cut too close. The haircut looked terrible, but I was more concerned that they hurt my precious baby. The place was filthy and they wash the dogs in a kitchen sink, not a commercial/professional tub. I don’t ever leave reviews, especially not negative ones because I’m not that kind of person, however, this needs to be heard. Below is posted before and after.

Rebecca and Zach took great care with grooming my senior schnauzer until he passed. Now two years later they are grooming our young schnauzer. My two schnauzers are polar opposite in personality, but I believe Guntersville pet Grooming is professional and flexible and seem to handle all breeds and personalities. Love them. Make sure you book ahead, though, they stay busy!

They were able to accommodate us with little advance notice and gave my pup a very good cut with a Mohawk! I know my baby isn’t the best at grooming, but they took good care of him and charge less than most others. Thank you!

I will never return. Took my dog there at 1pm and it took till 3:30.The place was a total infested mess with hair everywhere. I know it’s a groomer but you don’t need to let it get 6 inches deep. When the groomer got done with my dog she dropped her to the floor where she had to actually jump thru the hair to get to me. That’s how diseases gets transferred. The haircut was satisfactory but not what I’m used too. I know I’m from the Midwest, and I may be asking too much for at least a clean safe environment. It was even hard for me to breathe in the dirty atmosphere….. my neighbor who told me about this place went the day after I did, and she noticed the same dirty place and said she was never going back neither.

I have used guntersville pet grooming for at least 7 years. The owner is wonderful and always does a great job with my golden doodle , who can be a handful. I am super thankful for this business! They are awesome! 😎 👏

They did an excellent job at cleaning up my dog! He sheds a lot of fur but after the groomer's, he did not shed much at all. He looked so handsome coming out :)

This place is absolutely wonderful!!! I'm extremely pleased everytime I take my babies for baths and nail clipping. Staff are extremely pleasant and very good with my two chaweenies.

My Scottie 6 Mos old got his first haircut. They did great job. And groom was quite reasonable. Both people were super sweet. Photo with green harness was pre-cut and other was with haircut.

Guntersville pet grooming is a business running out of an old house. It seems to work well for them, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Good place also to bring your pups for a quick nail clip. Also conveniently located right in downtown Guntersville.

First time customer. And im typically one who uses local business. Specifically for the idea of the extra care they put into their craft. This groomer done an exceptional job with our puppy. They were polite, speedy, the price was very reasonable. My puppies coat is super soft now and she smells amazing. The nails were trimmed great as well. Ill be a returning customer for sure!

They do a great job grooming my border collie mix! I've been coming here for several years. Really reasonable rates. My house smells good and my dog is pleasant to cuddle with after she is bathed. They do a thorough job.

I initially scheduled an appointment at 9 o’clock and unfortunately had to cancel I then rescheduled for 12 but when I was an hour late they still managed to fit in my little Yorkie Chewy. After picking him up he looked absolutely fabulous! My pet grooming go to place!

Just wanted to leave a great review for this wonderful family owned grooming business. I have no issues at all taking any of my dogs to them for baths or grooming. My dogs love going there! As far as the person complaining on how long it took, I think they should consider where they probably were in line to have their dog bathed. While it doesn't take 4 hours to bathe a dog, they are always busy so you should expect to wait your turn. Waiting your turn means your dog may be there 4 hours for a bath.

My Sammy ( 8 month old Shih Tzu ) had a bad experience elsewhere and he did fine here! I will definitely be back! Very reasonably priced and the cut was awesome and they trimmed his nails perfectly! I highly recommend them!

We were in the area camping and Guntersville Pet Grooming were kind enough to work my Yorkie in and get her groomed. They are very efficient at what they do and nice people. My sweet girl came out bathed, with a nice cut and a cute bow. We camp this area often and I will definitely be back if a grooming is needed.

Great Grooming service but very hard to get an appointment. They stay booked up in store & mobile for weeks. Service is a 4 appointment is a 2 so that's why I gave them a 3.

I wish I would have read this review before I took my dog there. We wanted to have a clean pup for our family reunion. When I called, they said I had to bring him in by 11. They knew that our dog was timid about bathing, and I even said, "Don't dry him. Call us as soon as he is done and he can air dry". Here it is 2:20 and they said it would be another 45 minutes. FOUR HOURS for a dog bath??!! We won't be going back there.

This is the best place around. You literally can not get your pets groomed at a better place. They take walks ins, but calling for an appointment is the best way to go. Your pets will not only smell good, look good, but they will also act good because of the treatment they get by the employes. There is no better choice than guntersville pet grooming, especially if you want your pet to look perfect!

We took our 2 dogs to this Groomer to have their nails filed down. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I watched the Groomer as he performed the procedure and was stunned at how relaxed my dog's were. We had attempted to file our 2 Year Old English Shepard's nails ourselves in the past and it was pretty much impossible. He fought us and wouldn't sit still. Not the case with the Groomer. He just stood there smiling the entire time. I guess the dog could tell this guy knew what he was doing and trusted him. The length of the nails were filed down low and just perfect and we took the dogs to the park afterwards and they both seemed pleased, like they had a new pair of tennis shoes !!!! The staff at the Salon were very pleasant to deal with and we'll be back for sure.

WORST GROOMING SERVICES. She hurt my puppy , there is big scar next to eye and nose. And when I called her she started screaming and all. I wouldn't recommend this place.
