Sara one of the managers of the store, is awesome. She will always help me out, but make sure that all the other customers are taken care of as well. She takes guest services to the next level. It’s always a pleasure when I see her working there, because I know that the store is running efficiently.

One of the managers pisses me off every time I enter. Yes I don't like her but it's to the point where I think she does it on purpose. She is tan skin, brown hair and always has on bright red lipstick like she is trying to be a playboy bunny or something.

Always good place to purchase some home items. Don’t like the checkout area if you have multiple items. Like most big box stores they have mostly self service checkouts open with one line for normal checkouts

Visiting the Gulf and made several Target runs. The store was clean and organized, the employees were exceptionally helpful, and the prices were quite reasonable. It will be our new go to each time we visit the area!

I always use the drive up feature at this location and I always have great service. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to receive my items. The employees are always very pleasant and helpful. The app wouldn't let me check in a couple times and someone was able to help get my order.

Super friendly staff throughout the store! Got a Latte from Starbucks for the first time. Just the nicest people there as well. Great coffee!!! She made it exactly like I requested. Was having a bad day after a rude employee at a different coffee place but your staff changed my day for the better. Especially the two ladies working at checkout. Both were happy and very nice! You just never know how much a smile can change someone’s day. This is now my favorite store and coffee house!

At opening time I went in to shop for a lilac top. After finding a manniquin wearing the only long sleeve tee, I could not find one human being on the floor except at the self-serve cash registers. She announced over the PA for someone and 2 people showed up. They removed the arms of the manniquin and got a look at the size of the only lilac tee left in the store. Would you believe, it was a size small and not a size medium. Very disappointing. Maybe there is a Target elsewhere close by that has a medium size tee.

Not crowded, were able to find what we needed. Variety of hair accessories is limited though. No waiting at checkout unless you wanted the self checkout.

I love Target. This target was a short drive from the beach, it’s off the “island”. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly.

This is the only Target in the area and it is huge, so you would think it would be fully staffed and have the things you need seasonally. Wrong. Back to school stuff was out in June but it is now second week of September and unlike the rest of the world the Halloween displays are empty. I asked an employee when it would be up and they of course had no clue.

Clint at this store is a fantastic guy and great people-leader. Cool, calm, and collective. He handles requests/inquiries with absolute professionalism, even under stressful situations. For anyone at Target Corp. reading this, I would strongly recommend Clint for senior management. His experience and skillset would truly benefit Target as a whole. 10/10.

I would really like for this store to be remapped for the customer as opposed to for sales of non-useful or unneeded items; yes I understand commerce and product placement and the fact this is a tourist stop designed store, but I would spend 4 times as much money year round if it were set as a locals' focused store, reminiscent of the pilot stores in still more rural up and coming areas. This particular location is about to witness at least a quadruple in local year round business and I would definitely advise adjusting this one for locals, killing the highway signage, and build a southbound tourist store just before the bridge.

Love my Target in Gulf Shores! It's not one of the huge Super Targets, but it's just the right size! And they have a cvs and starbucks inside for a bonus.

I wish I could get 100 stars to Spencer who was working in the electronics section the night of March 7th!! He went out of his way and took his time to find me a cup I had been wanting in the exact color. He checked all the dcpi codes I had and was very patient with me. 10/10 customer service!!

While Target is the best large store shop you can get in Gulf Shores, doesn’t mean this shop is equivalent to other Targets. Every section but the men’s is disorganized and has very little size variety. There is no maternity section and there is no plus size bathing suits in the plus size section. A employee told me that all the plus size is mixed in with normal size clothing. And if you are anything but small or medium then you understand how hard that is to find. The baby and book section gave me a headache to try to find what I was looking for. I may just drive the extra 10 miles and go to Fairhope Target rather than deal with this again.

I love our local target. Super fast and friendly drive up pick up. Even if they are out of something I need they are quick to restock. All employees are super nice and very helpful. This store is always clean when we have gone inside. 5 star Target in ALL ways. Thank you for always having a pleasant experience.

I had to pick up prescription I left at home on vacation. The pharmacy was vey nice and quick with my purchase. I also picked up a couple of things and check out was quick. The store was clean and organized. Employees friendly.

Although it lacks the large selection of a Walmart Supercenter, it also lacks the depravity and insanity that those places seem to attract. Even during peak tourist season it's not a complete mess, and in the off season it's downright "ghost town" vibes inside. The prices are usually competitive with Walmart and Amazon and sometimes better, but beware "Target Math": they are known for pricing shenanigans so it is important to pay attention to details on sales and deals. And also pay attention to expiration dates. The expanded grocery section tends to have expired or old foods on the shelves. They're good about removing stuff if you say something to management, but it shouldn't come to that in the first place. Store brands are a good bet most of the time, too. There is a CVS and Starbucks inside, but no Pizza Hut despite what Google Maps says.

As a former employee, I can affirm that this Target works really hard to keep both kind, and rudecustomers happy. But at the same time, the employees are OVER WORKED and most of them have ZERObenefits even though many of them are working near or up to 40 hours. Many of the employees aredead inside and are suffering from burn out. 8+ hours on their feet, expected to smile and beprofessional, combined with inconsistent time off to recover... The work-life balance does not exist atthis Target. I barely got through three months before being let go. I kept calling out because I wasn'trecovering from the week before. I did what I could to balance the scale, but Target still found a way toget the most work out of me, week after grueling week. The $15 minimum wage is nice, but exchanging90% of your time to the store is not fair. Target employees don't live to work. Retail is already athankless job, but squeezing the life out of employees until their mindless drones is outrageous

The store selection was minimal at best with very little staff noted to stock or assist customers. While shopping two managers made an overhead announcement that there would be no approved overtime for workers (despite obviously being short staffed) then started laughing between themselves. As someone that previously worked retail this was an extremely unprofessional sight in so many ways.Later, I ordered an item online that stated it was in stock. However, when I went to go pick it up, I had received an email that it was no longer in stock and the closest Target with the item was 30 miles away. This means either their overworked employees (that are not allowed overtime) were not able to update their inventory in a timely manner or they sold the item I had bought to others before checking the online orders. Either way I am extremely disappointed in this Target location and hope the workers can find better conditions somewhere else.

STOP BRINGING YOUR PETS IN HEREThe amount of times I have seen fake service dogs and pets in this store is APPALLING. I don’t come here often, and every time I do, I see an unruly pet. It seems harmless but by bringing your pet in the store, you are putting the lives of disabled people and real service dogs in danger. I have watches dogs use the floor if this store as a bathroom. This establishment serves food. Target employees, that is a heath code violation. Keep your pets out if the carts where people’s food and children go. ESAs are not service animals. Putting a vest on your dog doesn’t make them a service dog. In the state if Alabama, falsely representing a pet as a service animal is ILLEGAL.TARGET. IS. NOT. PET. FRIENDLY. Don’t bring your pets here even if someone online or an employee says you can. It’s illegal and dangerous.
