April 2022 why is so much product like puppy food and dog food never on the shelf. Someone needs to pay stockers because the staff is never doing anything but hanging in office or behind register and never ringing anyone up.....DG's in Grand Bay AL are the worst in the world!So again today Nov 7, 2021 just stopped with my husband and asked the manager about cash back she was so rude told my husband she doesn't have to do it and is the manager we can wait until 2 and come back for the next cashier. Seriously this place is a joke everyone in here is rude and nasty to all customers. I'll continue to add to this review everytime I have a new encounter. I will be contacting corporate today. The customer service here is just disgusting. I still cannot believe the people they hire here in Grand Bay to work customer service. There are people who could enjoy this job and not treat customers like a burden or so nasty!!!....One of my many visits 2021Manager is rude glad the next DG in GBay helped me. You really should be fired. Couldn't even exchange a purchase. Sad. Also produce is always old don't bother. They literally have the worst customer service of any DG. In Grand Bay all DG's need some custom service classes. Its the easiest job ever i did at 15 yet grown adults act like they are teenagers with a bad attitude at both locations locally. Sad since there aren't many stores here. These locations should be ashamed at their customer service. Ive never left one with a have a great day or even a hello. Most act like its an issue to even ring you up so you can buy products. Customers should be first not stocking the messy stores. Ive seen so many walk out of both GB locations since January too often. The business professional on me has a hard time even walking in one of these locations because the customer service is so terrible.

I went into this Dollar General just a few moments ago only to be disappointed that they do not carry any African American hair products!!! None at all!!!! No styling gel, shampoo or conditioner, No relaxers, no edge control gel, No oil moisturizer Nothing that we of color use for our hair!!!!! So this makes me feel as if management here doesn’t want us and when I say us I mean people of color in their store!!!!

They Employees there were very nice and very helpful. Although, I had to keep bugging them due to someone not knowing how to do recovery properly. Everything I picked up was not in the right place. And they had to be put in the right place. You could tell either she was a manger or 3 key manger. She wasn't very happy. Of course I've been upset to if merchandise is put in wrong place. You can lose money that way. So, Listen up Dollar General Employees do your job. Recovery Recovery Recovery. Have a little more pride in your work. If your not just stay at home. You wouldn't won't to work for me.

The Covid19 mess probably contributed to the lack of shoppers. Found everything I was looking for and bought lots of snacks because of the great prices. Staff was eager to help me find the items I looked for. I'd recommend this store to anyone#

This DG store is very nice! It is clean! It has a large inventory! You can get anything from lemons and produce to dog and cat food. The people that work there are very friendly!

This is a very nice DG location. They have a larger selection than most. My only complaint is that sometimes it smells bad when you first walk in if they don't fully take care of the produce section.

Easy to find. Parking is not ah; problem. Store is fairly new still so it's still nice looking inside and out. The one problem I have found with this DG and many others is it doesn't stay well stocked. Once they run out of something it takes them awhile to get it back in. Not sure if it is a shipping issue or a warehouse issue or whatever. But somewhere along the way the restocking is delayed, at least with the DG stores in my area. One other thing i have noticed with the DGs in my area is their card reader machines go down quite often. Which i am sure isn't their fault. But it is frustrating when you go to DG and have a shopping cart full of items only to make it to the register and find out the card machine isn't working. Most of the time the workers will place a sign on the door to let you know the machine is down. However, with all that being said i do appreciate our DG stores. There are so many to choose from in any one area usually and they save me from having to stop off by one of the bigger stores so often, like Wal-Mart.

They move the aisles so much you can't find anything & there's never a cashier at the register. Always someone on the phone talking non-business or outside smoking. If it wasn't the only store close by I'd never go.

New store that I'm absolutely in love with. This one carries produce and a wall to wall freezer selection! Found some adorable Christmas decorations that I haven't seen in other Dollar General stores!! 💖💖

Always friendly staff. Always clean and neat. If I have any questions always prompt with answer and help! Reasonable prices. And have a lot of awesome and unique items for your pet👍❤👍❤👍❤

They always switch store around .So I have to ask where certain things are. But they always are ready to help you find the things you need or want . I always have friendly service. Thier checkout register line can be confusing sometimes .

Freight carts not worked for at least 2 weeks. There hasnt been stock on the shelves for weeks now. Same carts in the aisles as previous visits.

Was clean and well organized. Was easy to find merchandise I needed and they had a wide variety of merchandise. Bathrooms could've been cleaner. Friendly service.

Most packages of sausage were partially opened. When mentioned at check out, no response. Very crowded aisles. Having to show driver's license and debit card to buy a cheap bottle of wine, when over 60 years old is ridiculous.

It's the dollar store. There are always pallets of merchandise in the aisles, and there are never enough employees to get their stock out. The employees are generally pretty friendly, but they don't get paid enough to do everything they're responsible for.

I like the newest one they have in Grand Bay. The associated are friendly. I believe they have more merchandise than the other one and it's not so cluttered.
