If review was based solely on the (majority of the) employees, it would be a 5 star review. Generally very friendly and helpful. However, the prices are astronomical. It is the only grocery store in the area so they can pretty much charge what they want. But a package of cookies at Piggly Wiggly will run you close to $5 while the exact same pack is $2.95 at Dollar General next door...

This is the worst grocery store I've ever been to! Managers and employees have terrible attitudes and all the managers do is gossip. Someone needs to put a grocery store in gilbertown and take Piggly wiggly out of business for good. Just TERRIBLE!

This is the only grocery store within 20 miles of our house so we frequently shop here numerous times per week. There is one manager/employee that even makes an effort to be helpful, friendly or enthusiastic about his job. There is one person in the meat department that is equally pleasant and one stock clerk I make an effort to speak to. The rest of the employees are one fraction of one percent from being rude and blatantly bothered by waiting on me or checking out my groceries. The amount of money this community spends at this store should be enough to have a crew of employees to treat us like we are appreciated for supplying their paycheck.smh AND 95% of the employees don't wear mask any longer and have not seen a buggy being cleaned in WEEKS!!!

Surprisingly this store is super clean and some of the associates were very friendly. Some of the associates did not look so happy which made me feel somewhat uneasy being there.

Worst meat market in the USA steaks cut so thin no way to cook them center cut pork chops two on top of pack the rest have round bones in them would not recommend
