Wow! What a super fun and glorious experience! This store, this exact location is like adult magic. There is something for everyone, and everyone should make the Gardendale store their go to store! I called re: a return, the purchase has been a minute, but due to my poor health and natural flakiness, I’ve never built the coop. I’ve never even opened the box. I called and was lucky and blessed enough to reach manager Barry Butts. He is a dream of a retail employee! The only attitude you get from him is patience, kindness, helpfulness, intelligence and Southern gentlemanly charm. You can tell he has a true heart for helping in any capacity. (Revision forthcoming when I get the hostile persons name that I spoke with at the Trussville store)

It has been a record low temperature time this Christmas eve and I needed propane for my furnace to stay warm during this Christmas weekend. I got my propane filled the day before at another tractor supply but it was used that night to keep warm and was a blessing. Today I went to this tractor supply because the other store had ran out of propane and this place has propane.I was like thank God until I got to the point of getting the propane filled. The date on my tank was 12 17 recertification date on sticker but the worker refused to fill the tank as he used this to justify not being helpful. He could have helped but he was very negative. I pray I don't freeze tonight but I know God will make everything okay. This was a terrible Christmas eve experience and I will never use this store again. Terrible from a customer experience and just a human experience. No heart at this place.

Great store! I love having this close to my home!!! It's fun to pop in there and get something I need or just walk around and look at everything!!The young men at the store are always so friendly and ask if they can help you find anything. But the women( not girls) are rude and almost haughty. There is one woman who, at first, I thought she must just be having a bad day. But each time I go in there, she is equally unfriendly and I always have to ask her to please put my stuff in a bag. She seems that she feels that she is doing me a huge favor to even wait on me so she can take my money. She is not a good representation of who Tractor Supply needs to have at the front and as the lead cashier. She has shoulder- length brown hair. I went today to buy something and I listened to the other cashier who was being helpful to her customer. The one I spoke of was there to doing her chore to wait on someone who needed to check-out.Thankfully, I was able to use the self checkout and the customer ahead of me was very friendly!!Wish it would wear off on this one woman. I wish she would have a good day because she just never seems to be.

Great staff. I am disabled. Very helpful while searching for multiple items. As a Mom with a younger tween & her friend on 1st visit last December. The girls of course were just as excited to be there at the New location. The manager was wonderful as they explored. Clean, neat, organized well.

The store is extremely clean and well-kept, and the employees are personable and knowledgeable about products. I was able to go in and purchase a horseback riding helmet for around $60 tax included.

The staff here is absolutely wonderful. I came in with my new born to pick up some feed and hay for my goats. The employees were so helpful. They were nice enough to take what I needed up to the register. Jackie held my son for a minute while I tried to find my wallet. They loaded the hay and feed into my SUV and were so sweet.

It's a really nice place to shop. If I can't find a specific product, the employees always go above and beyond to assist me! How refreshing is that?I like to buy my cat food and cat litter there as their prices, for what I buy, are really great!Again the employees are outstanding!

Manager Scott and assistant Don were amazing. Helpful and instructive. I have read through a few of the negative reviews. “Didn’t help me” or “lots of employees but no one would help”. Not sure what store you visited but you must not of asked for help. This crew is eager to help and responsive to any request. I purchased propane and did not follow protocol exactly ... they were kind but corrected me professionally but directly. Purchased other items in the store and found them to be equally helpful. Just traveling through... consider yourselves well blessed with this staff in your neighborhood. The performance here was not for show, they authentically wanted to provide help. This is a rare crew in todays marketplace. For those with a different view ... remember that you get what you encourage. Give them good detailed feedback because I’m convinced from what I see that this team cares. Keep up the good work Scott, Don and team.

Very clean well layout store. The employees are very helpful and the products are quality name brand products. Even the foreign made discount products that are comprable to the name brand products or quality and useful. I would have given them five stars but I think they need to have more focused training for their younger employees.

Love the store. Everyone's always nice. But I've had nothing but trouble with the Weed Eater brand weed eater I bought from there. I was told the other day y'all don't carry them anymore cause you had nothing but complaints about them. My money wasted.

Always quiet and peacful with a comforting feel about the place. A nice selection of winter work clothes for men and women. Also one of the few places you can still buy a wood burning stove and supplies for it. The only downside is that some of the stuff is a little pricey.

I had a good visit. I bought propane and the man who filled the tank was friendly and he put the filled tank in the car for me. I've had some negative experiences in the past with their Manager being rude so I stopped shopping there. Today everything was fine.

I heard great things about this location so went by to visit as my pet pig wasn’t feeling well. There were several employees walking around. I was in distress and needed some advice. Not one person offered to help me. I was also very disappointed to hear that they sold chickens to feed to snakes! That is very disappointing that they don’t care what happens to the baby chicks they sell! Not a fan of this place. It would have been nice to have at least been acknowledged as a customer.

Jackie, the lovely lady who assisted me with my purchases, was not only knowlegable but also super friendly. She was probably the nicest Tractor Supply sales associates that I've come across in my 10 years of shopping at any Tractor Supply stores. I highly recommend the Gardendale store and Ms. Jackie!

I am handicapped. Went in to purchase a large garbage can. Asked the cashier where to go and he told me. I went and found them, there were on the very top shelf. There was an employee standing at the beginning of the isle, he was in conversation with a family that I believe he knew. They all saw me waiting. The employee never came to help me. I walked back to the front the cashier was standing there so I told him that no one would help me, he just looked at me as I walked out the door. They were not busy! I still don't have a big garbage can.

I could cut and paste any of my TSC reviews! Each store has everything. Sometimes I drop in just to check out the clearance section. If I must complain I can only say that this is one of the new stores that everything it's reversed. What is to the right on the majority of stores is on the left here,etc. Takes you an extra couple of seconds to adjust. That's it, only negative. Just drop by!

Great place but compare your receipt to the price on the shelf. My recent purchase had a shelf price of $59.99 but rang up as $64.99. Store made it right but something to watch.

TSC carries a premium store-brand grain-free dog food at a reasonable price. I want to feed my dog quality food, but I can now save money on it! Very helpful and polite store personnel make the visit even better.

I went to TSC to buy supplies for some new Silkie chickens I'm planning to get shortly. Never had chickens before and I'm excited. There was a lady there who I started talking to and she was a great help. I was educated ,in person, and even more excited after our conversation. So, Mrs H, thank you. The employees there are very helpful and friendly.

I purchased a chicken coop, had to pay someone to pick it up for me. My handyman came over to put it together, it was a very big and heavy box. After opening the box, I discovered 4 parts were broken. Being that it could still be put together, that I lived far away, and had no truck to get all the pieces back in the box and take back which was more trouble, I took photos and went to Tractor Supply to also get more chicken feed and supplies. I showed the cashier, who sent me to customer service, never saw a manager. Practically got ignored. Spend too much money in that one Tractor Supply when I didn't get a response. Also asked a floor salesman for help on finding something to anchor down the coop since a storm is coming, he was short and assisted no help whatsoever. Amazing when I purchased the coop had just great assistance.
