We love publix subs, but this is our seventh time this has happened, Receiving a sub that is improperly made, very poor quality or rang up wrong at the register. This was a sub that was made for us Sunday November nineteenth, roughly four o'clock. It was the holiday turkey sub.

Every time I come in Terri B. (Name on the receipt) is always so polite, informative, and acknowledgeable towards me as a customer. I truly appreciate the respectful attitude. Something very hard to come by these days.

My husband went to pick up some chicken from the hot bar this evening. They told him it’d be 45 minutes to cook some. After an hour, he asked when it’d be ready. They never cooked it. They also never just have food in the hot bar ready. And if you call ahead, so you don’t have to stand there for an hour with nothing yo show for it, they won’t answer the phones.I’ve always liked this Publix. Most of the staff are nice. But the hot bar needs some work.

This post is specifically about the Bakery at this location.They make cakes better than just about anyone! Any cake business, any home cake maker, any professional. They really do. The texture is always perfect and soft. They are always fresh. The cakes I have gotten from here ALWAYS get amazing comments from my friends and family. “Where did you get that cake?!”, Is ALWAYS asked. I will attach photos of two birthday cakes Ive ordered since September 26, 2022.My only issue here is the inconsistency with the employees. Some are great! Very sweet, very helpful, does everything right. Some are rude, short in speaking, and don’t do their job very well.Both cakes I have gotten had issues when I came to pick them up. I understand times get busy, but if you can’t handle September or October, how are you gonna make it through Thanksgiving or Christmas Holidays??The first cake was YELLOW CAKE instead of CHOCOLATE. This was a huge mistake. My mom asked specifically for a chocolate cake and that’s what I ordered. A strawberry covered chocolate GANACHE cake. We cut into it and I was so disappointed. The cake was still AMAZING. Just not what I ordered.The second cake yesterday, on October 20th 2022, they forgot to make it! So I arrived at 1pm to pick up my cake and they didn’t have it. One lady on one computer looking for evidence. Another lady on the other computer looking… Lady finally found the receipt/paper for it (who was super sweet btw). She said it was in the wrong box on the shelf below where it was supposed to be. She said she could have it done within 20 minutes. I said no, I do not want the cake rushed or you rushing. I want it done right. So I will come back at 3. I came back at 3:30 and it took them a minute to get it. (They seem to be all over the place and there’s no organization to who does what or where it is.) Should always be in the fridge with my name and phone number on it? Why are we running around?So that’s my complaint. Inconsistency. If you are going to order a cake- make sure you pick it up early! So if there’s any issues they can fix it!But the cake was made perfect when I finally picked it up, exactly how I ordered it- with M&M’s inside instead of sprinkles. Cream cheese icing, instead of buttercream. And it was so yummy.

Publix is such a great grocery store. They have great sales, great selection and friendly employees. It's a great place to buy groceries, flowers, cakes and hot lunch. Right now the town is shut down because of icy roads but if you can make it there, Publix is open and ready to serve. Thanks Publix!

We are traveling through AL, we stopped at Publix for a 12 inch Sandwhich and some snacks. in the past any Publix I have gone too was really good. Unfortunately, the sun was horrible. I called back and was told I need to bring the Sandwhich back to get a credit for the Sandwhich. The Sandwhich and wheat bread were sour. The meat was ice cold still after 45 minutes from the time the Sandwhich was made and ordered. Losing ten dollars on a Sandwhich I can live with that but the Sandwhich was bad. I will still go to Publix when am near one but I will never revisit this one.

This morning while in the store I encountered Terri at the customer service desk to obtain a money order. I proceed to let Terri know that amount of the money order needed and handed her my debit card as well as my ID for verification. Terri proceeds to ask me "Do you mind if I ask what this money order is for?" while looking at my ID and card like it id not match. I responded by letting UNPROFESSIONAL TERRI know that I ABSOLUTELY DO MIND. I always come to this specific Publix to obtain my money orders and I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM!!!!! The fact that TERRI had the audacity to HOLD my debit card along with my ID and ask such an unprofessional, out of line to a question to me the customer I can only imagine what she has asked others. I have worked in customer service for five plus years and can tell you that Terri was out of line, and very unprofessional. If that is what this Publix call customer service its not a good look.

Bakery is by far the worst. Placed a order for a birthday cake for my daughters birthday party. Went to pick up the cake this evening only for it to shift. Cake wasn’t good at all. The icing on the cake tasted like wax. Will never use Publix bakery again.

This review is specifically for the bakery.I went into the store a little over a week ago to place an order for 40 cupcakes for my daughter's birthday party. I asked for bluey cupcakes and was informed that due to Bluey being copyrighted they wouldn't be able to put actual Bluey characters on them. I told them ghat was fine and gave then a photo of how I would like the cupcakes to look with the exception of the bluey characters. The cupcakes were supposed to be orange, white and blue. However, upon pickingmy order the cupcakes are not anything like the photo. I am very disappointed bit only with the fact that there isn't blue on ANY of the cupcakes but the orange isn't the same on all of then and the icing was sloppily applied. The party is today and I don't have time for them to remake them or attempt to fix them. I have always used Publix bakery for special occasions but I will be going elsewhere from now on.

Publix stands above most grocery stores because of the appearance of the store and stocking. It is an excellent atmosphere to shop and pick up those last minute items.

I'm confident in saying that Publix chicken is amongst some of the best chicken around. With that being said, I was disappointed in their chicken today. It tasted like it was at least a day old. All of the food I received in my tray was cold and tasted old. I've always had great experiences with getting lunch here, but it was really a waste of my money and time. Overall, a great place with friendly staff

My complaint is with the sushi department. This my third time trying to get a special order and the lady is never available from 12noon until 3:30pm this is ridiculous. Hire someone else

This Publix is great! The store is well organized, clean and well stocked. The staff are pretty much always helpful and friendly. They really go the extra mile to make grocery shopping pleasant! Prices can be a little more than other stores but the quality and experience make it well worth it!

First time here at this store and bought a family pack of ground beef (chuck) they mixed spoiled meat with the fresh and I had to throw it all away. I will never come back to this store. Walmart meat is better than this.

I don't come into the store very frequently, but did today. My cashier Terri was the sweetest person I have encountered in a long, long time. She talked to me about my dogs, and told me she loved my hair. It's probably just every day banter for her, but its a death anniversary for me today & though I was smiling i wanted to cry. She helped lighten that feeling today. Kudos to you Terri. I hope you're here every time that I stop in.
