Terrible service… not only did I have to wait ten minutes on someone at the self checkout to just ok a purchase for a lighter, but then wasn’t allowed to leave the store without the same lady thoroughly searching our buggy and receipt for another five minutes.. and was not friendly.. this was not the first bad experience. I’m a regular at this location, I will not be going back to this location..

The people that work there are nice. I would enjoy the store a lot more if they actually carried products. Everytime I visit, it looks like a tumble weed is blowing through the shelves. I don't blame the employees for this. Corporate needs to actually let more than 2 people work the store!

Very clean and discreet easy to get around in the store. The employees was very nice The Young lady that checked me out was just so sweet miss Tera is a jem of her own. Will be going back when I out that way. I wish our stores was that nice and clean and easy to get around in where I live.

I shop at this particular Dollar General quite often. The employees are extremely friendly! The only problem I have is their shelves are never stocked. Thats mainly because everything is sitting in big crates all over the store. The shelves however.....nothing but tumble weeds!

What can I say,if they don't have it,you don't really need it. Nice variety of the basics makes it a great place to get in and out quickly. Love their store brand cookies. The chocolate covered ones where all the profit goes for literacy programs have a great flavor and snap. And I am picky about cookies. Also the best cat litter is their store brand. For real. Bread, milk, school supplies, cleaning supplies, check it out.

I know there are many Dollar Generals in my general area, but I decided to give this one a visit. Oh gracious, this store has got to be one of the worst. Extremely messy, and not to mention their customer service is awful. It took asking 4 times for help getting an item down from the top shelf. This particular item was listed as a sale item and there were none on the shelves below. I will stick to my stores closer to home.

It's the closest to my home, so I frequent it the most, multiple times a week. Unfortunately, the store is a total disaster and it's like this every day, all hours of the day, never changing. It is never clean nor is it organized. The tall carts, that new stock is put on, to then bring out to the floor to restock shelves, might sit on the floor for days at a time, never being moved or unloaded. Not only is it not aesthetically pleasing, but it has caused trips & falls, bumping into it & then into other items, which is most definitely not pleasurable. These carts also make it impossible to maneuver a buggy and then lastly, it blocks items on the shelves that are trying to be shopped.I don't feel like as a customer, its my place to physically be moving these large carts, just to be able to look for the items that I am shopping for. Not to mention, more times than not, I am physically not able to move these carts, from them being so full and heavy, which is not only annoying, but sales are obviously not being made. But what if a customer was to get hurt from trying to move one of these out of the way, just to get to the shelf that its blocking? In my opinion, these carts are truly a hazard and definitely a pain. There's also stock all in the floor. I'm guessing this stock has finally been removed from carts, but instead of placing said items in the proper place, they are just placed/thrown on the floor, at least two and three deep from the shelf out into the floor, sometimes more.(Pillows, massive bags of dog food, bottles of oil, boxes of makeup, small and big items alike)If the shelves become full, while restocking, then the extra stock should be placed in the back, for back stock. Again with this being an every day occurrence, it makes it impossible to shop and/or maneuver a buggy and if for nothing else, everyone's safety, shoppers and staff included, this should be a top priority. All this stock in the floor and on the heavy rolling carts, are only going to continue to cause more trips and falls, more blocking of merchandise, less sales and just disarray.Items that have made it to the shelves, are falling off the shelves and the shelves are just completely disorganized. I do think some of these issues is lack of staff, but also a lot of these problems are due to just pure laziness. I have had multiple people tell me that even though this store is closer to them, just like me, they will purposely go out of their way to shop another DG location or an entirely different store altogether, due to the issues I have listed above, because they refuse to shop in a store that is kept this way.

Was so excited this store was in the works, so very disappointed now that it has had time to settle in. Filthy unorganized with the stock blocking every isle, regardless of the day. All the fresh produce is beyond freshness and I would love to know the prices of it. I can see there once was price tags but they have all been ripped down, leaving the dirty remains. Very Sad that it has turned out this way. I will be going to Hanceville they are a real grocery with fresh priced and clean produce.

If you need soda, or beer, or seasonal nicknacks, this is the place for you. If you need anything else, you're pressing your luck. Although you can have a fun redneck date night by just walking around the store and guessing what's supposed to be in those empty spots everywhere. You can do that for hours. The whole Dollar General business model is based on having staple items I need close to my home. They ARE close to my home. But they are failing horribly on the "having staple items in stock" portion of that business model.

This was my 1st visit in this particular location of Dollar General. It was very neat and clean. The employees were friendly, too! This must be a popular place, as it was rather crowded at the time of the late afternoon/early evening that I was there.I would recommend stopping by if you need anything!

The workers are unfriendly and rude. I also bought a wine glass and they just put in it (no extra wrapping around it)the same bag as 2 2 liter bottles and a home decorating sign...how careless.

I truly have given this location a chance. It is convenient based on where I live, but worth the extra drive to the Warrior or Pinson location. This is the most poorly managed and filthy location. The parking lot is always covered in trash or even food that is smashed into the parking spaces. I realize and understand this comes from the shoppers that do not care about throwing their trash out of their door. It is time for the manager to step up and take some pride in the store- inside and out! Oh don't get me started on the restrooms. I'm fairly sure they have never been cleaned since opening. I can get over the lack of customer service- but it's time to clean the place up!

Need more employees are on a shift so customers are not waiting in long lines. There stock goes fast and are always out of sale items. Customer service is great at cash register. No one on floor to help you.

When you have ONE cash register open on a Sunday after church and an employee walking around aimlessly, who is capable of opening another register, #1 POOR management and #2 loss of business, when people leave your story and go somewhere else, never to return. 45 minutes to wait in line to buy a bag of shredded cheese is ridiculous. Get people hired, get your management in control. This is a new store. It's already losing business because of management failure. Have people on call in times of peak demand. Saturday was the same way. Will not go back! I can get in and out of Piggly Wiggly faster, even though it is a further distance. Ya'll need some leadership in this store. Good luck!

I love and perfer doing my shopping at this dollars general, I pass two dollar general stores just to.co.e to this one!they have a really nice variety children's outfit and pjs always a different selection and I cant beat the price! I love that I can actually push my buggy down a isle without bumping into dodging or being ran anything over from it being junked up items are always neatly and perfectly placed on the shelves, the employees are the are great The Hospitality is what has me hooked their always there to help and take care of you they ask about you and how your day. The other day I had a cashier help me get my things to the truck. Always going that extra mile. The manager Tiffany Leonard has truly out done herself! This store has stepped up and shined bring since being under her management! She should get prize 😊

The new store is nice and clean compared to other DG's nearby. But once again an advertised discount is not given and because of DG's unusual way of showing discounts during checkout and on reciepts it is hard to tell until after the fact whether you have received it!! Tags on the shelves (yes, with correct dates) advertised $3 off $15 for Kleenex, Hefty, and Scott products yet despite spending over $20, I did not receive the discount. Getting really tired of this type of thing happening all the time. May be time to make a FCC complaint!!

It has a large selection of inexpensive items. Some are name brand others are not. It's a good place for a few groceries on a budget. However it could be cleaned up a bit and the parking is too tight.

Staff has always been nice to me. Typical disorganized dg, always seem to be in the middle of re stocking the shelves with boxes in isles, consistently under staffed checkouts. I try to avoid dg when possible.

I use this store often since it is maybe a mile from my house. They normally have what I need. The only improvement that I can think of is that the store is often times a mess with merchandise all over the place and on truck days too many carts are just sitting in the lakes so it's hard to get around and even reach things on the shelves

Very poor service from dark haired girl and blonde girl. Were complaining about having to work, talking bad about customers, and eating in plain sight. So many obstructions in isles that customers cant even walk down or find items.

Mt Olive dollar General always has what i need. I don't have to go to 3 other stops on my way home because they're out of something..so one stop shop plus Christmas decorations are adorable.

I love that the new store has more options and produce..only thing i don't like is when they run out of something like Reese's pieces it takes forever to restock but other then that lots more dinner options available now so overall good

I love shopping at DG....BUT lately I have been dissatisfied because the two stores near me seem to always be out of lots of items. The shelves and ailes are messy with many ailes blocked by dollies stacked high with boxes of stock waiting to be unloaded while the shelves have lots of bare areas. I spend a lot of money at DG with multiple visits a week usually. More than once recently I have had to go to two different locations to get everything on my list as one store was out of several of the items I needed. Very frustrating. I have been told management blames it on the fact that they aren't allowed to hire enough help to keep the shelves stocked. If that is true DG needs to rectify that before they start losing business. I stopped shopping at Walmart because they're too greedy to hire enough cashiers. I would hate to find DG going the same route.

Customer service was great until they didn't have the products that were on sale, for the first day.... And yes, I was there when the doors opened, so no, they had not ran out of said product, they just didn't have it, then said no rain check, but that I could pay for said product and come back at a later date and get it... Who does that?????

I was a little disappointed because this location does not sell any window curtains. When I asked the manager why they didn't sell these she stated that due to the fact that they sell produce at this location they had to do away with curtains and a few other things

Always a good place to stop in if it's to grab a drink or a snack really quick. You have all the stuff for any kind of art project. Almost could say you have a little bit of everything. And that's always a good thing. And for some things I just can't believe how cheap it is. Other things y'all could come down on the price a little bit. Sorry not sorry just saying.

If you've seen one Dollar General you've pretty much seen them all and believe me they want to be seen. They are becoming as a commonality in Alabama and I've seen many within (2-3) miles of one another. One thing that has ALWAYS IRKED me is that when they have (3) count them THREE REGISTERS and have peoeple lined all the way back to aisles toward the back of the store, WHY do they seldomly open more than ONE!! I went into a Dollar General in Kimberly and noone was around to ring me up. There was a NOTE that said - "SQUEEZE ME" and a DOG TOY was sitting next to it. I counted Three Staff Members on Duty and there were at least (2) people behind me waiting to be checked out as well. Jeeze, get on your JOB people. We know y'all get caught up and busy with counting till and stocking/inventory but let's micro manage a little better about when we do these things!

Very courteous...line is always a little longer but they still stock more and have more options available then any other dollar general in the area..sucks to have to stop twice because they didn't have something you needed at another location
