Husband went to get 2 turkey and swiss sandwiches from the Gardendale store,as we get them there all the time. We were told in the past that they no longer have the brown mustard but the sandwich could be prepared and we could add honey mustard We’ve gotten it that way in the past (just ladt week) and it’s was delicious. My husband went to get the sandwiches today. The lady taking the order in the drive-through told him we no longer serve this. He told Her we just got one last week as she proceeds to start yelling over her headpiece who served a turkey and Swiss sandwich last week. We don’t serve that anymore. We cannt do that for you. So he asked for Turkey sandwich on the menu with no bacon and add Swiss. When he got home with the sandwich, it is two pieces of bread with some turkey and Swiss cheese. No sauces, No lettuce, no tomatoes and those two sandwiches cost $15.38. We called the Fultondale store and spoke to the sweetest young lady who told us, you can order the turkey and Swiss but we no longer have the brown mustard and we will be happy to put honey mustard on it. My husband is going to pay another $15.38 to get us the sandwiches we have been getting at the Gardendale store for the last several years. Very disappointed. The young lady was extremely rude and argumentative with my 78 year-old husband which was uncalled for.

Stopped by to grab a sandwich for a late lunch. Got all the way home and had to drive twelve miles back because the sandwich was UNACCEPTABLE. I was asked "did I not want my sandwich shredded. That if you don't pay attention the machine will shred the meat." Ummm this is not shredded. I'm not exactly sure what to call it but THIS is definitely not shredded. I was HIGHLY disappointed today.

I am not one to write reviews on restaurants because I work in one and understand that people who normally write bad reviews, do not see the background of the story and what is going on behind the scenes. But, when going inside a fast food restaurant where you can see the behind the scenes and kitchen it made me upset what my mom and I and plenty of others behind us saw and heard throughout the entire restaurant. It was Sunday after church we decided to go, we knew everywhere would be busy so we didn’t worry about the wait time on food. We got into Arby’s with two people in front of us and everyone in the kitchen seemed to be busy, right when the young boy was able to get to us his manager (I am assuming because of the way she spoke to the others and ordered them around) she told us to wait on second and grabbed the young man and turned him around towards the screen that showed the orders and started yelling at him telling him what he could and couldn’t do. She made him help with the orders until they were caught up. Unfortunately, while helping with the orders she would humiliate and scream at the young man making him look stupid in front of (now at this time a long line of people). The manager would yell at him telling him to go to the fries station and before he could turn around to go she would grab him by the arm and yell “look at me, take this tray” and shove the tray in his arms almost dropping the food on the tray and then yell at him “Now go over there, Dont drop the food and walk over there and put fries on the tray” even though she was the one who shoved the tray in this boys arms. She would constantly yell “Well great because I was up at the front we have no food in the back” making it just sound like everything is her problem and not a single worker is helping her. I just want to say not a single worker, especially a teenage worker, should be treated in a workplace like this. If the manager herself doesn’t get her act together, then that young man isn’t going to last very long and probably neither will the other workers. And if the manager stops acting out and yelling out useless “i do everything myself” things because yelling like that and only humiliating yourself is gonna stress you out even more. I want to give a shoutout to the young man because after being humiliated, he turned around back towards my mom and I with a smile on his face and his calm composure and asked what we would like to eat. On our receipt, the cashier name said Randall (so I'm assuming its the young man). You did amazing at your job today and had a wonderful calming composure:)

It was awful!!! Service suxed!!! They got a lot of orders wrong then they were throwing good around acting like they didn’t want to be there!!! Wasn’t friendly at all!! A few ppl left!!! Then they were getting orders wrong and wasn’t apologizing at all,very very rude!! When we got our macaroni bowls after e had t go Bck in bc they got our order wrong and after waiting GOD only knws how long,there was cheese all over the inside of our bad and bowls and on my roast beef there was one small drop of cheese on it and it tasted nasty so I threw it away!!! I WANT RVER GO NCK THERE AGAIN!!!😡😡😡Kid-friendliness: There service suxs in Gardendale!!!!

Horrible service, old sandwiches. We went to the drive through, La Quincia was rude and acted as though she was mad at us because we ordered food. Unfriendly. Paid eighteen dollars for tho smokehouse brisket sandwiches with hard bread and meat that had been cooked for a while. Worst Arby's visit ever. Sweet tea was ok.

The staff was very unfriendly. We stood for several minutes (1st in line) before anyone acknowledged us & there were several people working. I like the roast beef to be falling apart shaved like it used to be, this was a little thicker & felt a little like rubber. As expensive as a meal is now, $10.99 before tax, you really want a good experience, not so much here......

What a fantastic experience. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by Jackie and Nina. They were bright, energetic, friendly, helpful and really seemed to be enjoying their work day. I ordered the fresh market reuben for the first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The bread was soft and delicious, and the roast beef/Sauerkraut ratio was perfect. Chris did a fantastic job making that sandwich! Thanks guys for making our fast food experience fun and yummy! We love y'all! 💘

Very slow service. Employee made me wait to place an order until the previous customer's order had been completely finished and delivered. While waiting we were treated to back line staff complaining with a repairman about only getting a temporary fix instead of a replacement. Food was as expected from an Arby's. Door handle came off in my hand. It was installed with a sharp screw rather than a machine bolt as would be standard.

Like all other fast food - quality and service to customers has declined while prices have risen. Their curly fries have remained good for the most part. However, there are more instances of sub-quality fries than there were back in the days of quality and customer satisfaction.
