Place ain't what it used to. I remember when you could go in and get about any kind of popular,southern garden seed. Not anymore I bought corn seed there,that wouldn't sprout in 3 different beds. Bush peas that turned out to be climbing.went today for seeds the salesperson didn't know if what she was selling was Bush or vine. No speckled butter bean seed

I am changing my rating to 5 stars from one because, even though I am sure they are aware if the initial rating, in all my subsequent dealings they have remained professional and courteous...that counts a lot when dealing with folks. Also, I subscribe to the 'emptor caveat' business guide...the buyer has a responsibility to be diligent and I was not. I cleaned up my initial review, they are a good business......They may be good in maintaining inventory with competitive pricing but customer service and integrity is poor. I just spent well over $2500 for fence supplies. They loaded me in a pouring rain and the kid couldn't seem to count the fence posts correctly as I watched him count several times. Naturally when I got home and unloaded I was two short, The next morning when I went to pick up the remainder of my order I advised both the manager and the owner...they looked at me like I was trying to steal two more posts and would not even consider that their young employee miscounted.

Went and picked up some culvert pipe and prices were way cheaper than lowes. By the time I paid for my order I walked outside and the pieces were already loaded on the trailer for me. Great service and great prices. Kinda hidden off on a side road so I have missed this pace any times. Just glad a friend told me about it.

The employees are always so friendly, kind, and helpful.My family has used them since I was a small child and we've never had a bad experience. They are always willing to answer any questions we might have wheather it's about gardening, lawn care, animal care, pest control and many things in between. Even Noah the store pet is friendly and my children love it when he's there. I always recommend Red Barn for all farm and feed needs.

I asked the kid at the desk for a certain itemM and his responses was I dont know we probabally dont have that.He never asked anyone else if they carried the product or not.4 other people were having a personal conversation in the room behind the checkout.Every time I go to this place I have the same experience

Corn in my alfalfa!!!! WILL THERE BE SEEDS IN MY ALFALFA? I asked because I was using now alfalfa for my garden. THE OWNER PROMISED ME THAT THEY WOULD BE NOTHING ELSE IN THAT BAG BUT ALFALFA! he said that the company was really careful to make sure that they cleaned the machines between runs and they make sure that nothing that was in the machine would be in there with that Alfalfa. I had a quart jar of corn in that bag and I had to sit and hand pick it!!! I called the manufacturer they said they didn't clean the machines between products and that it was being used for feed and other animals are corn

Really like Red Barn A lot ,BUT...… Bought two different kinds of okra seed (Clemson spineless and cow horn ) this year and neither have yet to come up … .Sterile seed ? Planted on the 8th then replanted with the Cow Horn on the 18 th .. Everything else we bought from them has done well ,peas ,cantaloupe is coming up ,squash seems to be doing well, tomato and pepper plants we bought are doing great, but what's up with this okra ? We bought from them last year and the okra did great .. Has anyone else had any issues with the okra seed ? We haven't done anything different ..Planted several days ago ,something should be coming up by now ...
