This was our first visit. She took great care of our boy and we couldn’t be any happier. He’s going back in a couple weeks. He came home happy which isn’t his normal. He was abused as a puppy and seeing him happy is a big plus to us. Thank you so much for taking care of our little guy.

The groomer gave what I can only describe as a retaliation cut. I'm not complaining about how long the dog was at the facility, 9:45am til around 6:00pm but when I picked him up his coat had not been cut nails not cut. I asked if I could bring him back and was told she could shave him if I wanted. I said no but if she could cut his coat short I didn't think I was rude but I could tell the groomer was maybe offended??? She took the dog back and told me to wait another 30mins. Less than 10min he was ready. The poor dog looks ridiculous with visible lines on his coat and uneven chopped hair on his ears and head. we laugh about it every day so no real harm done but I'll take him somewhere else next time. He's still cute

We moved to Southside, AL last year in 2020 and I called all over Gadsden area and nobody would groom my chow-chow. I reached out to Petty Coat grooming and I am so glad I did! My Chow-chow Papa Bear has been dealing with hotspots & they have done a great job helping me manage his hotspots & keeping his hair manageable. I wouldn’t take my Papa Bear to any other groomer. They are absolutely the best!! Thank you!!

My support k9 had a bath and her nails cut here today and I wouldn’t trust her with nobody else. These 2 females that own and run this little place gave her the pampering she deserves. Thank y’all so much.

we have 3 schnauzers, two down , one to go. wish we had found petty coat 4 years ago. she is great and the dogs love her. great cuts, ears, nails and gland all without asking. she's worth the trip.

Was hired to make improvements to the building this business is located in. We were confronted by a angry little woman telling us we couldn't perform the necessary work we were hired, by the owner of the building, to do. The angry little woman, then called the police on us. The police came and I assume they explained to the angry little woman, that the world doesn't revolve around her. Also that building owners are free to make improvements to their properties, regardless of the angry little woman's opinion about it. We proceeded with our work, unabated by the angry little woman's tirade.We never used, nor intended to use the services of this establishment. We were simply there to upgrade the building. Had the angry little woman used a more polite, calm, rational, reasonable tone, I'm sure my crew would have done what we could to accommodate the angry little woman's requests. HOWEVER, the complete opposite actually happened and we all learned valuable lessons. I learned that a angry little woman is associated with the groomer business and is quite unpleasant to interact with. The angry little woman learned that my crew doesn't work for her or give a single "flip" about her feelings.

Very dissatisfied. I left my dog with beautiful long hair and they cut it all off. I am serious my baby was bald.They said she had some matted up hair. I can do a better job than they did. I will never use them again.

I wish I would have checked out these reviews before I ever left my dogs for a bath and nails clipped. They did not smell clean when I picked them up, and nails were barely clipped. Two weeks later their nails need clipping again My dogs smelled like mop.water when I got home with them. The salon is the natiest place I have ever entered claiming to be a business.

Please be cautious when boarding your dog here. I will not leave my dog ANYWHERE ever again after the horrible experience we had when leaving our sweet girl with Pettycoat Grooming for a weekend trip.

Margie Dunn sold a golden-doodle puppy to me with guaranteed health. When he became ill she refused to make good on her health guarantee. Do not do business with this woman.

If you love your fur baby please don't go to this place.I walked in and they was to busy screaming and cursing at a dog to notice I was there.I could hear it from the moment I stepped out of my car.My dog was skinned I know he had mattes but shaving so close that my babies skin was blood red with burns
