Went to Penny's in fultondale to do a little Xmas shopping, at the jewelry counter Kim L. was great, she was helpful, funny,and patient. I was ring shopping with my wife, so it took a minute. Thanks Kim L. for the help.

I came in the JC penny to get a few things for my daughter, she needed some facial cleanser and I also need to make up so we went into the Sephora area and this is where we met Brianna she was so sweet she helped us with everything she took her time with us and she really made us feel special. I was able to get everything that I needed and I’m just grateful for people who are just sweet kind hearted and go out of their way to make sure that you understand what it is that you’re buying and that you’re satisfied.

The most HORRIBLE experience. No customer service. No one to assist on the floor. The front of the store near the registers looks like they are going out business. UNCLEAN AND CLUTTERED! During check out the young lady NEVER opened her mouth, had to ask her for my total. AND ask to use my rewards!Not surprised, the manager is just as unfriendly as his cashiers. He always seems EXTREMELY bothered with being at work SIR..CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETAIL IS NOT YOUR GIFT! RUDE AND DISENGAGED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!JC Penney has clearly dropped the ball on promoting customer service and providing a welcoming shopping experience as the other stores.

Not a bad jcpenny. The selection is nice and they have alot more than you think they would. Especially as far as things like home goods and appliances go. The biggest downsides are the employees always seem to avoid helping and dont want to help when asked. Theyre always very rude. Also, the cashiers are miserably slow. Its always a 20 to 25 minute wait in line at the front registers.

It was very refreshing to find all the different outfits in all the beautiful spring colors. I surely will visit Penneys more often. Thanks to my cashier for helping me exchange a pair of slacks. She was helpful.

The ladies were shopping for clothes. The store has lost a lot of its appeal since I was last in a JC PENNY. The inventories looked like they had not been refreshed in some time. Store was less clean than I remember it when they were in full operation. Still, we had a good time here,so all was ok.

Things were going well and the store was clean. When I got into the line, I was greeted with poor customer service when my gift card wouldn’t work. The cashier did not exchange a single word and simply pointed at the card reader when it won’t work. When asking who I can only assume is the manager for help, Melissa, we were treated with disrespect and sarcasm. This is so unprofessional. Do not waste your time here. Everything is overpriced anyways. ;)

Had a cart full of items supposedly on sale and made our way to the checkout. Not one single item rang up at the advertised sale price. Long and arduous process for them to try and figure out what the charges should be and few items met the advertised sale price so we left it all at the counter and walked out without a single item, total waste of time. We weren't the only ones either as the entire store is mass confusion, we won't be back.

I have always been very pleased with the products which I purchased at this location. But I now have a newfound love for the store. I arrived last evening at 7:55 not realizing the store now closes at 8 o’clock. I was there to pick up an online order which is already paid for. As I entered, a man I assume was the manager called to the back to let them know that I was headed in that direction, however the cashiers told me that they had already closed the register and could not look up my order. I was frustrated but turned to walk back out. When I approached the front of the store, the same manager came to me and said let’s get you taken care of up here. He had a different cashier look up my order, had someone get my items, and was super pleasant. I was out of the store by 8:01 p.m. and very much looking forward to shopping there again. Next time, I’ll be sure to arrive long before the doors close.

Went in there today and it was okay but I went into Sephora on my birthday and they were very rude. I spend a lot of money in that store and when I asked the cashier how many points I had on my rewards card she rolled her eyes and told me that it did not matter because they did not have any free gifts. The cashier today was better.

Prices were decent only after the discounts. Overpriced items, then discounted to appear that you all are getting a good sale.Dressing rooms are closed at this location.With that, I did walk away with 5 US Polo shirts, 1 Izod shirt and 3 Foundry jeans for around $220.

Love their coupons and the service people always look to find you the best deal. I always can find good quality causal or dress clothes. Love that they have added Sephora make up as a inside store. Great experience.

Management (or leads were super friendly). I went during the half off clearance. They had a lot on clearance and items not available at my local JCP. My only complaint is the first day I shopped, there was a long line but only two cashiers. There were at least 4 associates on the floor but none of them were sent to assist at the register. Other than the long lines, I enjoyed my shopping experience.

This is for the Sephora store inside of JCPenney. I have never been so profiled in my life. From the time that I walked in the store yes I wanted to be greeted but not in the way where the lady followed me around the store the entire time. She would never leave my side they were other customers in the store but she stayed right behind me. I then got fed up because she never stopped following me. I gave her the basket and said here do you want to take this to the counter. She did but she still kept following me. I decided to just leave the store and take my business elsewhere. I don’t have to be treated like that it’s 2021 .

Not the cleanest store but prob on it's last leg. The ladies restroom was so nasty.We overheard hours are now 11 am-8 pm. What? Crazy! Also, they locked the doors at 7:45. Wait, you close at 8 not 7:45. Hmm

I have never been to a store to buy a ring and have so much trouble. I've bought two rings at two different times and both came the wrong size and the manager tried to charge me to have them sized. I had another ring that needed to be sized and it was gone for 3 weeks and sent back with no change. I do not recommend buying here.

Took one lady forever to exchange a pair of shorts for same thing because I could not find my receipt online but then when I was looking through my phone a gentleman. Said he would take care of it and he handled the situation as it was the exact brand, style and everything.
