Really convenient, pretty well stocked, and relatively cheap prices. It is less than a mile from our home. Barry the cashier was very helpful and friendly. He was busy, but still greeted everyone and had a great attitude.

When you live in a small town, Fruithurst, and your choices are limited, then I'm sure the closest place for something to cook might be a Dollar General. Unfortunately for me this is one of three options closest to home. There seems to be a new one everyday. They have food items but limited to 4 isles of different items ranging from peanut butter to Doritos and a cooler with milk, eggs, beer, ice cream, and frozen 1lb logs of hamburger. I don't recommend shopping here for a regular grocery run but it's allowed me to cook a meal for my stepson on multiple occasions. I won't get into the circumstances that have me doing this but please take it from me don't buy your meals by the day here! It's super expensive and nothing nutritional in the store. These stores are designed to take advantage of the lower-income consumer, like myself, and intentionally mark-up prices and sell out-dated items.

We were traveling through on back roads on our trip to Buford Georgia. We stopped at this location to get a snack and use the bathroom. I can honestly say this was the cleanest, most well stocked and friendliest location I think I've ever been in. I will say that we are going to take back roads again and this will be one of our stops. Keep up the good work and enjoyed the smile and great service.

Very rude manager on duty at this store on 11/02/19. She was rude to employees and customers. She didn't want to abide buy the signs pertaining to current sales that she had hanging in her store. When she realized the customer was in the right she yelled at her employee to go rip the signs down. The employee was very kind and respectful but not the manager. The manager was talking out loud prior to this about wishing she wasn't there and that she had a job interview some place else the previous week and was hoping to hear from that job. We frequent Dollar General and have NEVER been treated with such nastiness and ugliness from someone in charge. IT DOESN'T COST NOTHING TO BE NICE TO PEOPLE

This is the best Dollar General that I have shopped at. The store is ALWAYS clean, tidy, the merchandise is where it is supposed to be. The associates who are employed here are wonderful. They are always smiling, genuinely friendly, & always helpful!

This is hands down my favorite dollar store . The employees are so nice and they have a huge amount of choices that other stores don’t have . Also the store is very clean . I will go out of my way to go to that store because it’s not really on the way anywhere for me but it’s well worth the drive .

I love the service in a couple of my nearest stores. I feel right at homeEveryone is welcomed and noticed and acknowledged. I always find the Fruithurst store so clean without leaving much stock all over the wayThe Ranburne store is also a very favorite . Thanks to all of y'all who are there for us in more ways than to simply grab our money and shove us out. .. thank y'all for being natural and professional. See y'all there soon,!!!!

Better quality of products than dollar tree. higher prices on most items than you can find ANYWHERE else. Store is usual in the midst of a stocking mess in one aisle.

Dollar general in Fruithurst Alabama is the cleanest and nicest store. The associates are always friendly and willing to help you find anything. Store is always clean and organized.

Very affordable. Really nice employees. I am speaking of the one in Fruithurst and Tallapoosa at both places there. The Heflin DG? I've had a bad experience each te I walked in out there. But I'm tolerate. Most of the time. I'll go somewhere else if I can though. Maybe it has changed.

Not a very good store. You would think instead of blocking the aisle with products that they would stock shelves. Can't move the buggy up and through the aisle. People weren't very NICE.
