I will never take another one of my animals here. I took my beagle here 2 weeks ago and left her all day so they could run tests on her and find out the issue. They call me late on a Friday evening to come speak to the lady vet. I get there and they haven't done any xrays or blood work. They told me that she was fine and had some arthritis and was losing her eyesight. She passed away yesterday. Tidmore said it could of been a brain infection, or a mass, or meningitis but there was nothing they could do for her now so they put her to sleep. 13 years I've had that dog. I am beyond upset with this clinic!!

I adopted a precious kitten from them. Everyone was so happy for "Busy", my kitty, to be getting a forever home. It was a bitter sweet moment for the staff. They were all so attached that there were a few tears, but happy all the same. The staff did a wonderful job of socializing this precious baby. I appreciate them all very much. Dr. Canant and his staff are great and very loving towards all their client's pets. You can't go wrong by using them for your veterinary needs.

A really great first visit. They were very busy but always calm and polite. Terry at the front desk is amazing. She takes so much time with each pet mommy or daddy. The staff was very gentle with my boys; remarkably stress free considering they were two rambunctious young kitties. Dr. Canant explained every procedure to me and was absolutely charming. I've not had pets for a couple of years, and I feel very comfortable devoting the care of my new babies to Fosters Veterinary Clinic.

Wow... Absolutely amazing. Everything about this place is awesome. From the phone call my husband placed to get an appointment to the staff when we arrived to our experience Dr. Canant himself. This place is top notch. We’ve visited 2 other vets and have never been treated this well. I am so impressed with each person on their staff. They took so much time with us (we have 3 dogs) and did a THOROUGH exam on each of our boys. I’m not talking a quick pat and send you on your way. I don’t know that I’ve ever experienced an exam this thorough since my boys were 6 weeks old as their first vet visit. You can tell these folks genuinely care about their patients, which is so refreshing! This will be our vet from now on. Thank you guys!! We’re so thankful to have found this place!

My wife and I always take our two dogs there for their annual checkups and shots. They are always great with the dogs and everyone there are very friendly and smiling. So I highly recommend then for all your pets needs.

We were sad a while ago to show up to our Vet appointment and find Dr. (Bullard) Carden was no longer there. She is an excellent vet and helped three of our cats through multiple issues: FIV, FELV, pododermatitis, gingivitis, and numerous abscesses. We were glad to catch up with her to see how she is and where she went (my husband just ran into her at the Home Depot parking lot in Hoover). Her new customers are very lucky to have her.

Dr. Cannant is by far the best veterinarian in the county as my personal opinion. His staff is amazing and he is very forward and friendly. He has a strong 1on1 relationship with clients and pets. I highly recommend him .

First time here for Jaz and I. It took me a few minutes to get here through the door and when appointment was over she was a little slow to leave. Great environment. The staff doctor was amazingly caring and friendly. Thanks for getting my furbaby what she needed.

Dr Canant is the best! Both Dr Canant and his staff are very sweet. He is my go-to vet from now on. They took the time to call me after my dog woke up from dental surgery to inform me about the outcome of my baby, and I thought that was pretty amazing. This is the best vet office!

I used Dr. Jimmy years ago when he was located in Tuscaloosa and LOVED him. I moved around and ended up in Fosters and was THRILLED to know the vet there was him! Dr. Jimmy is thorough, honest and kind. The staff is fantastic. I wouldn't take my furbabies anywhere else!

Dr. Canant is kind, compassionate and honest. I've had multiple animals spayed and neutered (mine, my parents and strays), had canine dental work, a dog treated for cancer, and all the regular vaccinations and flea/tick treatment done here and NEVER had a complaint.My last visit was to get a stray cat fixed. I drove 45 minutes across the county (like every visit) with my baby boy in the backseat and the cat escaping from one of those cheap cardboard pet carriers in the front. When I arrived, I called to inquire if they had a better carrier I could use to bring the cat inside. Not only did they bring out a carrier and place the cat inside for me but the lady brought out the paperwork for me to sign so I wouldn't have to get my baby put of the car! What other vet provides curbside service?Also, Dr Canant took the time out of his busy schedule for my daughter to interview him for a school project so he's just an all around good guy!

I called this place for a quote on a tumor removal for my pet, this place told me that the tumor removal would cost more than the animals life. It doesn't matter what you think is too much for me to fork out for MY pet, the fact of the matter is that I asked! You being a veterinarian should understand how people feel about their pets. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate to me and my pet. Very little regard for animal life if a price tag is the only thing you are concerned with. If you weren't capable of doing the removal or weren't "in the mood" you could have just said no!!! Not tell me that the surgery would cost more than my pets worth! Very scary that you work with animals with that type of mentality and attitude!!!!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!

This is the best vetranarian I've ever taken my pets to. It's a small town vet. I've lived in bigger cities and had my pets to vets in them but Fosters Veterinarian Clinic has been by far the best.

First, if you don't live in Fosters, it is well worth a little extra time to get your animal child the best possible care.Dr. Canant is the most compassionate vet I have ever worked with. He has a wealth of expreience yet stays current, has performed multiple procedures and complicated surgeries on my animals, but DOES NOT take advantage by performing unneeded tests or procedures. Dr. Canant approaches each situation in a practical, common sense way taking into consideration the pet and its human family.

My baby cat died one day we took him to get his shots and said he was heathy then a few days later he was dying because of liver failure I miss Dr Canant he knew how to treat/take care of animals.
