So many people complain about the price of food, well obviously they haven't heard of IGA supermarkets. I had 4 bags of groceries, including meat, and guess my total. $35.00 was my total. Not only are the prices reasonable, the staff are friendly. IGA is my store of choice.The store is clean and organized. I love IGA.

I went there thinking I would save some money on groceries, but in fact, I left thinking I should have just driven to Walmart. The prices at IGA are higher than Walmart. I was very disappointed.

Awesome experience. The two young men who were cashiers yesterday ( I went in twice) were very friendly and helpful. Something lacking in most places these days. Clean store. I'm not from the area but if I'm through there again I would go back and I recommend them highly.

Today on Father's day 6/18/23 I went in to buy little cake and ice cream and watermelon. Was up set I had pay $7.49. Omgosh that's high! But I didn't wont to go to Walmart because it's always busy. But here on out I will never go back to your grocery store. That watermelon was not good infact it was horrible.

Give that butcher a raise! Great selection of meats. The pork roasts and chop cuts are the best. Grocery prices have shot up everywhere but thus place atleast tries to give you a deal. I do appreciate the effort. Always a friendly staff. Busy but friendly.

I've been coming here for years. Never had a problem. But today a Cashier refused to check my items & pay because I was White. I watched as she refused multiple other white gentlemen & then only checked out African American people. Absolutely disgusting & Racist. Not shopping there ever again

Employees are always helpful and very, very friendly. You can tell they are close knit there. Prices are alright. Certain items are a great deal, others can be overpriced IMHO. I find that to be true of most grocery stores, however.

I love this store !! Out of all the grocery stores , in Fort Payne. I choose to come here the most. Even though it does not have everything I want or need. I enjoy the fact that they have , name brands from Mexico. Choices.

They had a flood so staff had to fetch meat items as the back of the store was blocked off. They did this happily and they were very accommodating. The upgrades to the produce and freezer sections have made a big difference! Lots more freezer items including pierogi and tortellini and fish.

I was pleasantly surprised at the variety and the prices. And now enjoy going there whenever I am in Fort Payne. The only issue is sometimes the price is posted are not the actual prices. Case in point I got some Diet Dr peppers that were supposedly $0.98 each but I got to the register and they were a dollar sixty and we're not happy about changing the price because of one of their employees mistake.

The better half & I rented a cabin at a nearby state park, but we hadn't taken everything we needed to fill out our menu for the week. With the park restaurant closed for most of the week, we had to prep our own meals, so it was necessary to do some shopping. Ft Payne is a smaller town than my home town, and this IGA seemed to fit the size of the town. While they didn't have rows of everything, they had at least one of everything I looked for.

Good selections. Found bread I needed. Pretty good paper towel and T tissue deals. 88 cent Snack cracker/cookie deals. Great price on my Angry Orchard. Meets look good too.

Nicely well stocked small grocery store. We were camping at Desoto State Park and needed a few things. I was glad to find such a nice little store just 15 mins from the campground. The staff was friendly and shelves well stocked, couldn't ask for a better experience.

This store is small,but has a big variety of items at a fair price. They always have the best meat and produce and at budget friendly prices. They sell a few clothing items ( jeans, t- shirts,scarfs) . They have a row of Hispanic foods and some Oriental foods. Their paper goods are fairly priced. They also sell wine and beer for those interested,as well as a variety of snack items. They sell health and beauty items as well as a cleaning items. They have frozen foods . They also have an app that you can download to make grocery lists and see sales items and digital coupons. Just tell the cashier you phone number and she'll apply your digital coupons.
