I love my $89.00( Pulse) - winter coat & My $39.00 ( Tamarack) boots for all seasons. And I live my -( ADIDAS-puremotion ADAPT 2.0 Running Shoes)! Although $70.00 doesn't seem like A LOW Price; It's more EVERY other Shoe store PRICE on Those Type Shoes.It was about time , I got to go Somewhere, since I didn't get to do anything for my birthday , October 19, 2023/ or that weekend, NOPE. I needed These Items for Winter.

This place is EXPENSIVE with guns and ammo. If you’re looking for a deal, do not come here. I appreciate the selection of hunting gear, and outdoor equipment, for camping, sports, etc. they are worth checking out in the least.

Best Dunham's store in the area and I give all the credit to Jason and Terri! They both have gone above and beyond to make certain I find exactly what I'm looking for each and every time I visit the store. In todays world they are definitely the exception! I highly recommend!

This was our first time in the store. The staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We ended up spending several hundred dollars and were very pleased with the service we received. However, the heat quickly became intolerable. We asked one of the staff why it was so hot and asked if the air conditioning was broken, but we're told that it just never works very well, and it was typically always rather warm in the store. We would have probably shopped longer and made even more purchases, but we were literally dripping with sweat and needed to get back to our air-conditioned vehicle. I have no idea how the employees can stand it working in those temperatures for 8 hours when I couldn't stand shopping for an hour in them. The company owners need to step up and get some decent air-conditioning if they want to keep customers shopping and employees working. I really want to shop locally, but I think I will head to the next town to find a cooler store next time I want to shop in summer. It's Alabama in July - air conditioning isn't a luxury, it's a necessity!! The owners need to step up and invest in a decent HVAC system.

I found a couple of decent deals however I was in the store for nearly an hour and I walked the entire store twice including walking up to the checkouts and didn't see a single employee until the 2nd time that I went to the checkouts. The young man was very polite but when I asked about the 3 day Groundhog Day Sale items it was apparent that he had no clue. This wasn't any fault of his because he was just an employee. I feel like it was the managers responsibility to be sure that the employees understand the sales. He seemed a little embarrassed that he couldn't answer my questions and he apologized for not being able to do so. The hour and a half that I was in the store I only saw one other employee and that was because I asked the young man if he could page someone to assist me in the shoe department. The lady who stepped out from the back of the store to "assist " me wasn't of any help. After asking several questions and telling her exactly what I was shopping for she preceded to sit down on one of the benches instead of making suggestions or helping me to find want I needed. Needless to say, I didn't purchase either of the 2 pairs of shoes that I had initially gone in the store to purchase. I did find a couple of other things that were marked down enough to keep my trip from being a total bust. Thank you to the young man that helped me to the best of his ability. Dunham's, you really need to step up your game.

Nice place, clean and decently staffed. Pretty good selection and mostly organized. Stopped in here while passing through and a buddy was looking for collegic tee shirts for his family. Selection was pretty good but organization was lacking with everything crammed into one relatively cramped area and men's, women's and kids all tossed together. Staff was helpful and store was neat & clean. Nice sports store for the area, just wish the stuff we stopped in for was less chaotic.

Went in with the wife looking for some home protection, browsed around the gun section for about 15-20 mins. The clerk just stood at the end of the counter eating a salad and talking to a girl (not a customer). Didn't get any help at all, not even an acknowledgement. I'm amazed that this company is willing to throw away it's money on an "employee" such as that, but also not sale it's goods.

The manager of the Fort Payne, Alabama store, Brandy, I believe was her name, was the very kindest and most gracious attendant that I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She went FAR above and beyond in her efforts to assist me with my shopping needs. She never acted like helping me was a chore. I’ve never shopped at Durham’s before today, but I can assure you that I’ll be going back. I can honestly report that I’m extremely grateful for Brandy’s graciousness.

I will never use this location again. On more than one occasion, they did not have something they had in their circular, which happens, and I understand. The problem is I have asked the manager if they could check with the Scottsboro location, and they have always said they called and checked, after going to the Scottsboro location, their manager and other employees stated they have not received any calls from the Fort Payne. I have missed sale items 3 times because of the laziness of this location.

It was a mess. Employee were useless and just walking around in a daze. Ask a question and they kept walking said nope dint got anymore. Cashier was sweet and did here job promptly. Nobody had in a mask.

I always like Dunham's in Fort Payne. Usually good prices (Depending on what you get and When. And if you have a Online Coupon) and good selection. My only gripe is that it ALWAYS take forever for me to get someone to the Firearms department. I waited ten minutes without anyone there, then had to walk all the way to the front Again to ask for someone, then all the way back. It would be very helpful if they had one of those Customer Service buttons that call someone if no one is there.

Most of the associates are nice. There is one however, a nasty old man who allows no fun at all and never wants anyone to stay for more then 30 minutes. Their clothes are good, but their fishing supplies are garbage. They have no plastic lizards, and their rod selection is garbage:

Went there to look for new shoes, found a style I like as I was looking though the sizes a worker asked if I needed help. I said yes and they walked away. had to speak up and say "I said yes." they came back told them what size shoe I need and they went to look in the back. they came back with the box with the wrong size on it laid it down then walked off. will not go back will not point others to the store because of how rude the worker was.

Absolutely the worse manners of any place i have ever been. I was hitting in the simulation booth with an associate on site just to be asked not to hit in it anymore without asking. There is a large sign there tbat states " hit as long as an associate is present ". I left all items i was going to buy sitting there and walked out without saying a word. Praying the owners find better employees but they will never see my money!!!

We purchased a treadmill this afternoon in Fort Payne and the lady that waited on us was exceptional. She sold us the item, got it out of the warehouse, checked us out upfront and even helped us load it in our truck. Dunham's need to keep this lady, she is a real asset. Wish I had her name.

I just want to say we always shop here for school shoes. It’s one of the only places that have wide enough sneakers for my son. He has autism and can sometimes be moody while shopping. For the second year an associate named Christy has been very patient and attentive with Walker and made the shopping trip much less stressful. Got shoe and backpack shopping knocked out in one trip! Will definitely shop here again.
