Clean, accessible, efficient. I love the big isles! Staff were friendly and selection of many items were plenty. I appreciated various options for coffee creamer (dairy alternatives), cheeses, and meats (would love more fish options). Pleasantly suprised when passing through the area. Unsure how long this store has been here, but from the lot to the inside including restrooms were noticeably clean, I really loved that. Oh and if you do not bring your own bags, they ask if you want paper or plastic (I welcome the options if you forget or didn't bring bags); I was shocked as it had been years since I visited somewhere that asked.

My family and I went here 3-27-24. The staff were very sweet and engaging. The whole store was really clean and well kept. Their produce selection was one of the best I've seen.

Store was clean and organized. Prices are high compared to their competition. Cashier was rough handling the produce as if she was mad at it leaving it bruised. Red bananas were dried out and were like cork on the inside. The only strawberries were very large baskets for $19.99 and no smaller containers available. I inquired with an associate who confirmed there were no other options. I guess they would rather the strawberries rot and end up in the dumpster than be purchased in smaller quantities. I probably won’t be back. Can’t wait for Food City to give these folks a run for their money.

Nice store, but the prices are high and they pay their employees poverty wages. The hiring manager acts like $10/hr is acceptable for a job they describe as “very hard and fast paced.” People should know the employees are modern day slaves and many are on welfare

Everything is always so clean, and the staff is very helpful. If you are not in the mood to cook, the hot cooked food is very good, and you are served with a smile.

Foodland is always a go to shopping place here in Fort Payne especially if you’re trying to stray away from the likes of Walmart. Great prices, and a delicious deli. Including is a picture of a cake made by the sweet ladies at the deli. I also love the fact that the employees seem free to express themselves with hair and jewelry. Libby is a favorite employee by far and is always so sweet and upbeat.

On a road trip through this area and needed to stop for some supplies and bathroom. This is by far one of the cleanest & nicest kept grocery stores I’ve ever been in.

Don’t put in a application here I did a few weeks ago never got a call back from it even went in person to ask about the application they took my phone number and name and this has been multiple days ago and I still haven’t got a call back don’t say you’ll do something then don’t as a business I will definitely no longer shop at any of their businesses

I ate at the deli in foodland, and I can confidently say it was some of the best food I've had. It rivals Ingles deli and has more options, too. The cashier was super nice and understanding. The only problem I had was that the card reader doesn't work well. I would recommend for anyone who wants a homemade style lunch in under five minutes. The food is also super affordable, and you get more per dollar than any other deli I've been to.

Store was very clean and everything was super easy to find. The employees that helped us with a birthday cake and an order of fried chicken were very friendly. We came from out of town to visit my grandmother for her birthday. We were very happy with this store and will definitely stop here again when we're back in town.

As usual I show up 10 minutes before they close ( just left work). As usual I'm greeted with smiles and the young lady helped me take my stuff to the car.I've never been to Bruce's and left unhappy ( except once they were out of coke 😭).Definitely a great place to shop.

This store is convenient. There is adequate parking. The store is fresh, clean, bright, and well stocked. The selection is good, prices are reasonable, and employees are polite, helpful, and friendly. The deli offers salads, hot foods, rotisserie chickens, and Boars Head meats and cheeses.

We've been going here for many years. We've come to know a lot of the employees. Always friendly willing to help and pretty much always have what my wife or I are looking for. What do you expect from a family owned and operated establishment that's been doing this for a very long time. Nice people.We Love this place and the people there.🙂

I was in here November 3rd, 2022 to place a Birthday cake order. The lady that makes the cakes in the bakery part was super nice, very respectful, extremely professional, & helpful. I was super impressed. My child wanted a Beatles cake for his Birthday. This lady improvised & made his cake. They don't use fondant, that wasn't a problem. This wonderful lady made my child's Birthday special! Thank you so very much! I will be back. I highly recommend this store! Superb job!

What they have is good quality. The staff is friendly. They lack some products that other stores carry, and they are on the expensive side. Their deli carries boars head, so that's nice.

Been coming here for a long time love it. But today a different story just had knee replacement surgery 1 mo. ago waited for 25 min for a motorized scooter,never got one. Only 1 in store used to be 4 or 5 all the time. So I basically drove almost an hr to get no groceries. I dont know whats happened to all the motorized scooters but some of us can't walk we need them.

I love coming in the store and being greeted with a smile.Dustin Holkem cuts my meat just like I like it and with a smile. Also there is a young cashier his name is Jordan Keele he didn’t have any one else waiting in his line so he turned off his light and ran my groceries out to my car for me he told his manager she said that was fine. I thought that was the most generous thing I had ever seen he wouldn’t even take the tip I offered he said he just wanted to help me cause he didn’t want me to have to lift the heavy water I had just brought. On a different day I took my neighbor to the your wonderful store to get his groceries and while I was sitting on the bench waiting on him to finish his shopping I watch a young man make I don’t know how many trip back and forth outside to get buggy’s I mean he was on it he was really going at it.Finally I asked him his name he said his name was Logan I said well Logan you have really been at it u need to a raise lol I was joking with him but seriously I think all 3 of these that I mentioned should get some type of Recognition for all of there hard work if not a raise at least a certificate for going above beyond and doing more than what is required of them and not only you see it but for me a loyal customer of I don’t know how many years cause I use to walk to your store as a little girl because I grew up on Alabama Avenue and my mom use to let us walk to your store to get snacks. So if I see there hard work and dedication I thought u should know about it thank u for listening!
