I think we ended up getting one other the older cabins, the experience was terrible. It was just musty, sticky and dirty, even the wood of the cabin was rotting.

Private , clean and quiet. We were able to see the ARMY paratroopers jumping from our lake view deck.Pretty cool.Only complaint: Hot water lasted 6 minutes.. no kidding. Be prepared for a very quick shower.

I stayed here the last week of February 2021 for a family member's Basic Airborne Course jump week.The staff was great, from making reservations to check in to my earlier than anticipated check out.I stayed in a small cabin, but the size was perfect because it was just me.It was a little more rustic than I anticipated.The kitchenette is functional. There are enough dishes but not much for cooking.The pillows and mattress were not as comfortable as I had hoped.It does have a television, but I never turned it on.The deck with picnic table was great (perfect for morning coffee), and the firepit was pretty good (perfect for evening cigar & beer).The fire ring and grill are the typical campground style.There is a shower and laundry building, and it looked newer.If you bring an RV, that part of the campground looked pretty good as well (plenty of shade, not too close to other sites, more like a relaxing campground than a parking lot for RVs.This was far more peaceful and relaxing than staying in the hotel on post.

Nice campground to spend time with the family. They have redone the pool area and added a splash pad which is nice considering the heat and humidity. The cabins are nice and have most everything you need. I would recommend bringing a large skillet because the one provided in our cabin was a small one making it difficult to prepare breakfast for 6 people. I would also bring some plastic flatware since you are provided only 4 sets of silverware. All in all a nice place to relax.

Quiet unless the planes are active. Not super accessible for elderly or displaced persons. Says it has WiFi but it actually doesn’t and wood bees seem to be a problem in the buildings

Beds are clean. Cobwebs and typical cabin dirt. Definitely not enough cookware and utensils. If we lived locally I could bring it with but we flew in.The Internet is slow.Beds are soft which I love.Option to get more towels even if we have to pay a fee would be nice. We had to go buy some. Same with pillows and extra blankets.Love the scenery! Deer and one squirrel was spotted. Very beautiful and quiet for the most part.Easily found fallen trees and branches for firewood.You have to bring your own matches and briquettes for the fire or fireplace.

This place is a quiet relaxing place. The cabins minus the chalets are a little small and simple but better than any hotel room. Plenty of activities to do such as a fire, fishing, hiking, boating, sports, and a pool are available. Close to post and a short drive to the city. Prices are very reasonable. For tent campers it's not as isolated as I prefer, but on the flip side there are restrooms, shower facilities, and laundry facilities. Book early if you know you are coming to the area because they can fill up fast due to graduations from military training as well as people just wanting to get away. For the outdoors people good fishing for catfish, pan fish, and bass can be found even from the dock. Plenty of wildlife can be seen for those wishing to observe that. Unfortunately no hunting in the park, but great whitetail and pig hunting surrounding the area on both the Alabama and Georgia sides.

Two couples in their own RV's. On the patio side of our friends camper was a huge open grass area. It was adjacent to the Campers Cove group building. At night we sat around a camp fire and watched between 6 to 10 Deer graze within just a few feet from us. It was absolutely amazing.

Wonderful military famcamp. We stayed here for a week to attend International Cup Softball in Columbus. Very like a state park with full hookups. Sites are large - tons of room between sites. Paved pads with patio area and picnic table. Lots of cabins. Pool is one of the nicest I’ve seen at any campground and there is a very large splash pad for the kiddies! Price is good, laundry is good - commercial size machines, wifi was lousy - it worked very occasionally and when it did it was very slow. Only a few miles to the main base where there is a large BX and commissary. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful woodsy surroundings. Baby deer grazing in our backyard every evening. Lots of amenities: pool, kids' water spouts, volleyball & basketball courts, pavilions, laundry room, nice walking areas, sewer hookups flat to ground, cable TV that worked. Just intermittent internet. AT&T had good cell service; T-Mobile did not.

Small cabins are good for 2 people. Any more and it's too small. Our a.c. and heat did not work. So if the outside temp got above 70 then it got a bit too hot and when it dropped below 60 it got a bit too cold. Fortunately we only had 1 day above 75 and 1 night below 50. Internet WiFi was totally unreliable. Kitchen was barely usable. Had to go buy a new pan and spatula to make eggs for breakfast. Shower stall in bathroom is smaller than a phone booth. Prepare for a challenge taking a shower if you're not a tiny person. The area is nice, quiet, and a decent base camp location. Be ready for a 20 - 40 minute drive to anything you need or want to visit. This place is cheap and just good enough for this time of year. Not too hot or too cold. Any other time of year and I would have left after 1 night. We stayed 6 nights.

Great little place to stay. My son was at Fort Benning had family day and graduation and stayed for three nights and it was great. If you like outdoors and nature this is for you. So peaceful. Next to a cool looking swamp.

Very nice RV park and marina. Large space which can accommodate even the large RV's. Per map has a tenting area and area for a large group. There are cabins and some allow pets. Our space was nice as it was near a walking area for pets but we also noted their were also specified trails too. There is a swimming pool and comfort station with showers as well as a laundromat. Entrance to Ft Benning is short drive. This is part of the military installation so a military identification required to use and register. If you have a pet be aware while we were here saw deer multiple times on property.

Good camping site for military, Veterans, and retired military. Unlike other camping sites, they offer no cable TV. I inquired about camping here for 2-3 months (while my house is being renovated). The Uchee Creek representative informed me that I could, but I would have to leave on 3-day/4-day weekends, which others have already reserved. Solution to this problem: Identify 4 or 5 lots (or more, if necessary) earmarked specifically for extended stay customers.

Great place to stay. Especially if you are in the area visiting family that's in boot camp just around the corner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for us. We were a very late arrivial, and it was in the winter, they had turned the heat on in cabin for us so it was nice and warm when we arrived.

Our Park Home cabin is very comfortable. Would like better lighting and an adult size coffee maker. But, everyone is having a good time

Great place to just go for a few day's. We couldn't get a pontoon boat last time. But we did before that. Nothing close by so bring your own food.

Such sweet people. I was unable to make it at my check-in time. They left my reservation and instructions on a bulletin board. I was so relieved to see they went above and beyond to make sure I made it to my cabin. My trip was way to complicated to have not had somewhere to sleep. Thank you Uchee.

Been here a few times with my family always a good time amenities are good must keep in mind this is an Army base/campground the log cabin are rustic and peaceful the deer are everywhere and in the evening and night you will see them everywhere

This is a very spacious military Campground the only bad thing I can say about this Campground is the water is a very peculiar color I would not advise drinking it.
