Such a delightful surprise - cabin was clean and actually quite nice (I was imagining 1970s kids camp bunks). We will definitely come back.Note: plan time to clean up after yourself, & note there is no insulation (but there is heating & air)

This was a wonderfully quiet campground not exactly on Fort Benning / Moore; no interstate noise, no trains blowing their horns. We can't speak about the facilities because this was just an overnight stop after visiting the Infantry Museum, so we didn't need to use them. It is a little out of the way of the post, but that's probably why it was so quiet. It is for military and military retirees only.

It's about 30mins from town. The place looks very unkept. Windows nasty. Spider webs. Dust. Outdated furniture. Pictures on website must be from when they first opened years ago🙄 PLEASE visit before booking. They claim for the safety of guests that we couldn't view cabins. However, majority of the cabins were empty🤔they didn't want us to change our minds & ask for a refund. We looked thru the windows of each cabin: small med lrg executive (not good). It's late in the game for us to find a place to accommodate all of us & we booked every cabin🤦I won't be coming back after this experience. If you stay, bring your own linen, wash clothes & towels. Do Not cook with their supplies. They do not maintain this property well.

The only reason I went to Georgia was to see my brother graduate the army and my father rented a RV for the trip there were 6 adults and 4 children 2 of the adults my girlfriend and I slept very uncomfortable the first night so the very next morning at about 9:30 we went to the office to see if they had a small cabin available as I walk in I see a sign saying that we needed to call a head of time so I was a lil disappointed but this lady ( Debrah) come right behind the lady I was talking to first to see if the had any openings and Debrah seemed sooo happy to get me in this cabin so I’m getting happy I said I wanted to stay 2 nights (not knowing my father wasn’t going to be as long because of lack of communication ) and Debrah knowing I’m with him doesn’t say anything about how long he was staying but why would she so she doing paperwork and say she didn’t to mention the cancellation or a 2 night minimum but I just happy cause I thinks I’m going to sleep so comfortable so didn’t think twice so I get the key and got see my brother then while on the army base the RV lost brakes and we almost hit a car and while we’re out the RV trying to figure out what happened is when I found out my father wasn’t going to be there the 2nd night I had the cabin and I didn’t know if we would even make it back to the camp ground so I called to cancel one night and that’s when I find out about the 2 night minimum so I canceled the whole thing and returned the keys as soon as I could which was @7 pm after they closed because after losing brakes had to get them checked right after so places we went to that couldn’t look at the RV brake we finally found and it was closed and we had to take my brother back to the army base so I good the next morning after another honorable night to talk they opened at 8am and I’m there outside waiting for 15 minutes until one of what like the maintenance man said they’re running late and we had to be back to the base @9 and visiter entrance isn’t close so call to get information on my refund and out of $180 they refunded $45 so I spent $135 on a cabin I never saw and for holding keys but Debrah thinks she did me the big favor this camp must need more business because they charged me for having keys so thank for one the worst travel experience of this 20 years olds life

The facility is much larger than I anticipated. The RV lot is massive. Tons of cabins. Lots of tenting spots too. Pretty much on the river.

Second visit, Oct 2023. Dropping the rating to two stars. Check in was a breeze, Park was probably 1/4 occupied. Found our site and found a huge pile of construction material at the back of it. Drove back to the office and asked to switch to another site we had seen. Office staff seemed surprised by my comment about the construction material. Anyway, no issue we got moved. Once parked, I went to hook up our cable (Park advertised having cable TV) and discovered no hook up. Spotted the host driving by and pointed this out. After they inspected our site, we were told one of the mowers must have cut the cable. Cut the cable, the sliced the entire connection away. Now, what really set the tone was our site had trash - cig butts, pieces of paper, etc. I had to think, doesn't anyone check these sites after someone departs? Had they, they would have seen the cable was gone, they would have seen the trash. Then about an hour after setup, there was a spike in power. We had a surge protector, a really nice one. Did you catch "we had". Not only did it fry the surge protector, it blew and I mean burned a fuse in our fridge. Fridge would work on shore power and propane but no longer on DC and once home we had to replace the power board. Won't be back.Getting a three star due solely to our site. First visit and we have a small rig and we had to have gotten the smallest site in the park; #5. It was back in, on top of a small hill, just enough asphalt for a picnic table and two chairs. Tall grass around the site that needed mowing. Obvious when setting up, the asphalt had stability issues - one of our stabilizers went right through the asphalt. Cell coverage is good but no wifi. Follow the map and you can get a good 2.5 mile walk in. Don't be fooled by the time zone - the Park runs off Eastern time zone but it doesn't sit in GA. Can be confusing but Park management said to make things easy, they run off Eastern. Bath house and laundry were nice and clean. However, when we went to use the laundry (three washers/three dryers) one of each was broken and the dryers were stopped but had clothes in them. No biggie, the washer takes 30-mins, sure they'll be empty by then. Nope, in fact the clothes sat in the dryers for a good hour after they stopped. We opted to remove the clothes from one so we could use it. About 25-mins later a host family drove up in a golf cart and yep, the clothes belonged to them. They now had been sitting for 90-mins. Female wrote a nasty note about touching other folks clothes so we wrote one back to be respectful and remove your stuff when it's done. We camped at Uchee Creek Campground/Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Very quiet, pretty and well maintained CG. We came in at 5 PM. The campground office closes at four but there was a packet with my name on it with all the instructions I needed for a late check-in. It is $40 a night for a full hook up for my 30 foot travel trailer. There is no Wi-Fi and the cable wires are male only so bring your own adapter. Not crowded at all. Laundry($3. Washer ) and shower facilities are clean and nice. LOTS OF MOSQUITOES!!

Far from everything if you like rural camping. Sites are fairly level, full hook up. One way traffic that all but the employees follow.. Recycling dumpster available . Cell service lacking. Cable available but fuzzy channels. Rates 40 dollars/ night. Rest rooms mostly clean.

Beautiful area with lots of trees. Nice pool and clean facilities. Several playgrounds for the littles. Within 20 minutes from the town nearby. Lots of shade. Bugs weren't any issue. Try to bring mats or rugs because it can get muddy around the sites. Our daughter played in the "mud" and later we figured out it was mixed with dog poo. Had to leave her shoes outside till we could clean them.Overall a nice area!

The Lodge is such a beautiful place and spacious too. We had my mother's 81st birthday party there and it was grand. Rental price very affordable too. We loved this venue!

By far one of the best places my wife and I have been. Great spaces, facilities are awesome, pool was nice as well, wish it would have opened earlier. Wifi is good, if you have T-mobile your reception is not good. Fun to watch jump school do their thing at Frayar field and if you are into biking and running the hills there are nice rollers. Chesters BBQ hwy 165 is a bonus as well. We are going back very soon. Great place, don't tell anyone.

Although I did not camp here I did however visit the camp ground and enjoyed a few hours in a cottage with my son upon his graduation. The grounds had a hiking trail which was awesome. With a gated entry this campground was safe and secure. The cabins are warm and cozy and very inviting.

This place is ok back in the woods, lots of deers and wildlife. The cabins need a real good cleaning, the walls are full of dust, the kitchen sink you really can't wash your dishes because the faucet is to big for the sink and water get all over the floor, I didn't like it because the bunk beds are in your living room just too small for a family. One small loveseat, small dinner table. The dust from the walls or mildew my face broke out, stuffed nose. The cleaning person need to give the walls one good washing down to get rid of the dust... If you have sinus and asthma this wouldn't be the place for you..

This is a very nice place for family and friends. We stayed in the Executive Chalets they are nice but could use a king size beds and some upgraded furniture in the dining area. The dining chairs are very loose the chair leg came off. The pool was not open on memorial day and that was disappointing to the kids. Overall we really enjoyed it.

Review on small cabin: it was amazing :) just my fiance and myself. Full bed, comfy couch, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, utensils, table, tv, shower and towels. Front porch has a porch swing and picnic table. This is definitely not what we expected. Cabin and grounds are clean and quiet. If we lived closer we would be back all the time. The price was right and the staff are amazing. And if you have a graduation from Ft. Benning, the graduates can usually hang out on family day :)

We stayed in a classic chalet and although the area is beautiful, I cannot express enough to upgrade to an executive chalet for $20 more a night! The classics are a huge step down and should be well under $100 a night for what you get. They are old, and some musty mold smell is expected (it’s a cabin in the south) however, I believe a simple dusting and mopping the floors with a chemical disinfectant would have helped. Maybe it’s the pandemic and they don’t have workers. There was a strong pee smell and blood stains (hunting season?) that we lysoled best we could and 409’d everything! Very disappointing for a military facility . In need of much repairs. Chalet rates are not reasonable for the poor condition they’re in. The sheets and towels were clean and it is relaxing and secluded. As for our next time, if there’s a next time, we will def upgrade to executive chalet.

This camp was nice and clean when we stayed here 13 years ago, during family day when my husband was at Benning for boot camp.Fast forward to now, this place is disgusting. From the smell, to the mold, to being absolutely run down. It is NOT suitable for people to stay in.The pictures speak for themselves. Save yourself the headache and do NOT stay here.
