This DG is disgusting. It seriously needs to be cleaned there is trash everywhere… opened food, half drank drinks, chewed gum on the floor, trash everywhere in the parking lot. Absolutely gross. The only reason I’m giving it 2 starts is the guy behind the counter was so helpful and so sweet. But the store is absolutely in appalling condition.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I just left what would have been a sale sitting on the counter. First, there were no shopping carts that didn’t have trash in them. Then once I gathered all of my items, there were no bags at checkout. I’m not going to have these things rolling around my car. This store is terrible. Please pay your managers enough to stay and possibly actually order bags and such. Fort Mitchell will be so much better off when when the new dollar store across the street opens. Hoping they can keep it together better than this place. AVOID unless you have no other options.

Went to Dollar General this morning to purchase a few items. When I arrived at the counter, the guy working, was breaking down boxes and saw me and three other standing there. When I asked him, was someone working the register? He tells me he was, and I was just gonna have to wait. And continue breaking his boxes down and talking on his phone. I left the store and so did the other three ladies. This happened around 845. A.m. on March 9, 2024 I would never go back to that store.

Anytime I've thought "it must be better by now" and allowed myself to shop here again I've been disappointed. It's still dirty, messy, and the workers are just as rude as ever! I guess it is pointless to complain. It probably won't get any better until everyone refuses to shop here and their cash flow is interrupted, it's all they care about!

At this point, I honestly try to avoid going here at all if possible. The place is a madhouse. Checkout lines are too long, stock is ALWAYS on the floor blocking aisles, the most high-demand items are always out of stock. Seriously I don't understand how the place makes money considering their inventory spends 95% of the time on a pallet in the middle of the floor. I'll give it a 2 star rating because the staff that is there are typically very nice.

The store is always dirty and trashy out side and inside. They need better management to make the employees clean the outside surroundings and keep the inside clean. You see the floors dirty, isle messy, bathrooms dirty, mice and roaches dead🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️😱😱. Like really you cant hire people to clean up this store then do it yourself. Stop being lazy only sitting on a desk and eating. Yes you management.This store make Fort Mitchell look ghetto. Fort Mitchell is growing in beautiful housing and population. Everyone who lives at Fort Mitchell we are trying to make it and stay beautiful. This store is a shame the management are a shame and should be embarrassed. Thank you.

I went there this morning 7/11/23, this place is disgusting. In need of a through cleaning inside and out. The two female employees that I saw wasn't doing anything other than running their mouths. Products can't be sold if they are in a box on the floor. Just a big mess.

The isles are cluttered with stock and u-boats. Kids are managing the store. They smell like Marijuana. Very rude. I did find one exceptionally nice and helpful employee, named Sheryl. Very sweet, considerate, friendly and very helpful.

I regrettably visit this store weekly and I dread having to go inside every time. I can always expect a long wait. I would rather drive 20 miles to Walmart than visit this overcrowded and filthy store. The manager (Nicole) has poor customer service skills. She walks past customers with her music playing on her cellphone and I even overheard her talking negatively about other employees on duty. Why write reviews if the corporate office isn’t going to address customer concerns. Outside of the manager, the employees are extremely nice especially the cashiers. Do better DG!!!!!!

Always seems disorganized and it needs a good cleaning. Sometimes the employees will be loudly talking to each other from different isles. However, they always seem to be nice. Gave it three stars instead of two simply for convenience. Usually I will go the extra mile to visit the bigger cleaner Dollar General down the road.

This place needs to get it together. Everything from disgusting customer service to the trash heap that is out in the parking lot to the fact that most of the shelves in the food section are completely empty.This place needs some leadership, work ethic, and a better attitude.

The location could use some work. They've got a manager there who's been doing his best to clean up and hire help with better attidues . Slowly but surely, it's getting better. Jeff is the best thing that store has going for them!

Shelves are always empty. You can't really build relationships with the staff in this small town (like you would in other small towns' businesses that you frequent) because the staff is always different in this store. Not sure if that's dollar general or the management in this particular facility (he has stayed the same). Staff is never really friendly or helpful because the shelves are empty they can't tell you whether they have something or not.

This store is convenient and cheap, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It is always dirty, isles crowded, understocked, and understaffed when they're needed the most. Due to the poor repair of this store, I would rather drive a bit further to the nicer Dollar Store up 165.

This is the dollar general in Ft. Mitchell & it was a hot mess!! They had stuff every where!! but the stuff was working very hard at getting the stock put up & I'm rating them a five star just for how hard the employees have to work at this particular store!! you have to remember, they don't have a Walmart down there yet!! So, we treat it as a mini Walmart!!

I go to this store atleast once a day. Sometimes more. I sit back and look at things. I have read many of the other reviews and see that people fail to recognize somethings. Yes, stock takes a little bit to get completely out, however, the cashier's are the ones responsible for putting it out. Would you rather stand in line for a longer time because the other cashier is stocking shelves? I have been to many Dollar Generals in our area and always come back to this because of the staff, the store. There is a store on Manchester Expressway, that is the nastiest store I have ever walked into. The staff is hateful and treat you like your impossing on them if you asked to be checked out or need help. Thats a bad store. We are lucky to have the store we have.

There was a black cashier that act if she had an attitude as she rung up my item's then in the mist of ringing me up she left the register to speak to another employee and then when I was going to pay cash she walked away again to the other employee with my item she rung up that I was purchasing. There was a line and I felt it was very unprofessional and had me just baffled by how she acted Jan 21, 2021. I never been done this way in a DG.

I have been in this store hundreds of times and yea they may have much in it but have been treated pretty good by staff going out of there way to please a customer but this one time and some lady I have never seen there before was so rude to me for no reason at all didn’t haft to be so with that I know everyone has a bad day but don’t take it out on me

Real friendly people and good prices on a lot of items but the store environment feels dirty and old. Mostly the floors but also some of the shelves. If the employees weren't so friendly along with decent prices I might not shop here.

Shelves are empty and the walkways between the isles are packed with boxes and trash. I have no idea how this isn’t a fire code violation! There’s no way people could get out of here if a fire started!!! Prices are decent and if you’re in a pinch and need eggs or milk this will do...

The store is always in disarray. The manager of the store does not know how to keep employees or manage them. When the store get a shipment, there is only two people working one at the register and one stocking shelves. I am Human resources management and what I have seen at that store is worse than a liquor store in Chicago. To the employees, hang on yall.

This is by far the worst ran dollar general in the area always stuff in the isles always long lines such incompetent people running this store i go out my way to avoid this location even though it is closer to my house need some real managers the rest in my area are great

It is an average dollar general. Nothing special and if you have ever been in another dollar general then you should know what to expect. The staff is usually nice and helpful. Thanks for reading my review and have a nice day.

Very kind employees, yet entire isles are so messy that you can’t even walk down them. Always out of something that I came there for and I’d honestly recommend going to the dollar general beside mount olive elementary instead

I was Christmas shopping today and some lady saying she is the new manager called the police while I'm in there shopping and accuse me of shoplifting I called to get their names so I could call corporate and she just hung up on me I was searched by the police i was very embarrassed about it I live just next door to the store and go there all the time. but now she told the cops that she don't want me back in the store even though I never stole anything. very very rude and disrespectful new manager. I will call corporate tomorrow when they open.

Always long lines and understaffed. Not to mention nothing is ever stocked correctly and the stocks trains, will be just sitting in the isles, blocking your way to even get into a specific spot. And it's always like that in this store. ALWAYS!

Typical Dollar General. However there is nothing else at Fort Mitchell. This place is a lifesaver in case you need something simple and don't want to drive all the way to Fort Benning, Columbus or Phenix City. Grateful it's there.
