Since Winn Dixie closed their pharmacy, we have changed to Publix for some of our shopping needs. If you can't cook like me, family gatherings can be tough. Not at publix. They have chicken boxes up to 50 pieces, veggies, meat & cheese trays (my favorites), and all kinds of deserts.

Publix sets the standard for grocery stores. Opened in 2019, the Publix in Foley is no exception. It is clean, well stocked and staffed with helpful friendly associates. The pharmacy is extremely busy and closes early on Saturdays. The deli makes great sandwiches but be patient - sometimes it takes a minute. Take advantage of the sale ads and stock up on bogos.

It's Publix💁It's always stocked, clean, efficient and clean. They have a much higher standard of service than other stores with groceries Yes, they have higher prices, BUT they also go out of their way to help make your experience right behind Chick-fil-A😉(that's a compliment). Love his place.

Ordered some subs from the deli through the app was giving a specific pickup time of 4:15 p.m. I arrived exactly at 4:15. No one had started making the food yet. By the time someone got around to it and got us the subs. We had been standing there for 35 minutes. People behind the counter didn't seem to be very familiar with what came on the subs. For some reason the guy who made ours felt it necessary to load it down with about four times as necessary. Pickles. Once we remove the excess pickles, the subs were still pretty good. Prices are also very high. We got a couple of items off the shelves for our hotel room while we were waiting and the price was outrageous in our opinion.

Very spacious and stocked. Good vibe and flow through the store. Restrooms available and pharmacy. Great selection of foods and healthy choices also.

Nice store ..no where near as nice as the St Augustin location..... They could carry so better Vegan options.....and no I do not promote Vegan but apparently my Kidneys do unfortunately....... no more meat based protein 4 me #^#$&fml

Very nice store with tremendous selection. A little expensive but what food store isn’t nowadays. Very helpful staff as well and we are very impressed with their fresh produce and wide selection of groceries.

As usual always a nice trip to Publix. Even though it was busy we were in and out pretty quick. Very nice cashiers and baggers. I have been in several Publix stores in different areas and never had bad experience yet.

Extremely clean and organized very well managed. Everyone is extremely friendly and my experience at the new Foley publix was spectacular I highly recommend this location to everyone. It is much more convenient to come here instead of gulf shores as a Foley resident! And because of its compact nature all the produce and the meat is extremely fresh as it runs out much quicker than it would at a larger location there is also self check out which is much more convenient than the traditional waiting in line despite the fact that there is very few people in line with the amount of staff they have currently.

So I'm checking out at self checkout on a Sunday because there are only three lanes open on a football game day. The guy working shoves my cart out of the way because some lady was complaining she couldn't get through blocking me from getting my stuff out of my cart which wasn't even in the way she was being a drama queen. I'm so mad I hate this store I will never shop here again. Overpriced and rude. 150$ spent and got my cart manhandled and backed me into a corner for some over pretentious rude lady.

Employee's are truly a delight, always helpful and courteous. Love the BOGO deals. A lot of advertised item were out of stock this trip, would like to see more of the sale items in stock.

I was rushing to get one last minute item right before Christmas and a manager was locking the door. As I walked away she opened the door and asked if I only had a few things to get. I was very appreciative that she let me in. Always so nice there!

If you have ever been to a Publix grocery store, you know that it is the top of the chain, especially if there is not a Trader Joe's around. This store in Foley is in a great shopping center with lots of other places to visit in one shopping trip. This Publix always has the most friendly customer staff, and if they are out of something, they would give you a rain check. At least they did for me. It's definitely worth a trip, especially with those BOGOs.

I always have an exceptional experience. I'm a caterer and oftentimes need items the day of an event, especially if doing Grazing Tables. I get my sourdough bread there and it is always fresh (often still warm) and the service is phenomenal.

Love new store! Clean and lots of fresh options. Makes eating a bit healthier that much easier. I really liked that they had sanitizing wipes for carts and an information kiosk at the front.The info pamphlets are helpful for understanding labels and symbols to make more informed purchases. I like the card on locally sourced products. Way to keep it local! I really liked that they have a wine guide pamphlet.I’m always looking for something different. So the first place went was the international food aisle. My daughter and I really like seeing what people eat in other countries. (Great cultural exposure and educational opportunities.) I’ll usually let her pick one thing to try. Wouldn’t you know it, she goes for the cookies/candy. There was plenary to choose from on the international aisle.Recycling bins are out front.Love the new store. Good job Publix.

Update: after reading the other reviews, it seems as though profiling POC is normal here.My husband was profiled during curbside pickup today at 3:25 PM 12/16/23. We had 3 pickup orders due to forgetting items in the first and second orders we placed. All orders were marked complete at once. Our 2nd and 3rd orders had been brought out and the associate confirmed she was going back into the store to retrieve our 1st order placed for curbside. 15 minutes passed and I called and asked are they bringing the first order out for “……” the woman on the phone asked had we called ahead of time. I said no, my husband just received our 2nd and 3rd order and he is still outside waiting for the very 1st order. 10 more minutes pass by, still no items but an associate asking for a receipt. I ask my husband who had me on speaker phone if the lady could hear me. I then asked, “why is a receipt needed when you just brought out 2/3 orders and was told the other order would be out shortly. All of them are marked as completed. The 1st order being marked completed at 2:56 PM.” All of a sudden a receipt was no longer needed and I stated once she brought the order out that an apology was in order because who comes to curbside to steal paper towels and gloves they ordered and payed for? In addition to, our last two orders had just been brought out to us and it was stated on the first trip out we had 3 in total so it was not a surprise. DO better because I am not as passive as my spouse. Furthermore, take accountability as a whole store instead of tossing other associates under the bus.

Jake from the Publix deli counter exceeded expectations in making my sub sandwich. His attention to detail and friendly service deserve a solid five star review! Shoutout him for the tip of adding a little vinegar to my 5 grain bread. 🤙🏽 🏽 was seriously good.

Lots of employees in the deli/sandwich/fried food area, but none of them seem to work the food section (pulled pork/chicken). Have stood there multiple times while employees walk right past and nobody will offer to serve or get someone who can. Disappointing service in this area. I end up leaving probably 4 out of 5 tries.

Clean and well organized establishment. Staff are friendly, even at self checkout area. This location is modeled after their newer concepts. I'm shopping here often.

It's a nice, clean, pretty store. Great deli, hot bar and selection of take-and-heat meals.Also, for it seeming so big, there actually isn't a lot of product choice here compared to the Gulf Shores store. The bakery, seafood and meat sections are fairly tiny.

I said that I was never going to get food from a Publix again, so this is really my own fault, I suppose. I ordered a philly sub on whole wheat bread with cooked green peppers, onions, and mushroom. What I received was...a sandwich. It was on five-grain instead of wheat, none of the toppings were cooked (I know that means that they're just toasted, but it was what I asked for), and some of the toppings were missing. My spouse got a chicken tender sub since they were on sale, and they also had problems with theirs. The sub paper and bag were soaked through, but the sandwich inside was completely dry. It was also missing ingredients, including the chipotle mayo they were looking forward to.

Our family uses the pharmacy here and they are always the most friendly people on the phone and in person. They are always super quick filling whatever prescription we need and we have found they have the cheapest prices most of the time. As for the grocery store it is always clean and well stocked. Their deli and lunch bar area always has awesome tasting food and they have a sushi bar with premade sushi already packaged up for you or you can have them make it right then for you.

Ordered online 100 pc fried chicken for pick-up to take to a church dinner and it was easy peasy. Hot n ready to eat at the time I scheduled, boxed and in a warming case up front. Clerk helped me load my cart and offered to unload in my car but I declined. Can't beat Publix for price, service & convenience!

So today is the day I finally decide to get out and shop after work. My spouse and I really enjoy the baors head turkey and American cheese, so we stopped by the fresh deli to grab a lb. Of each. Horrible customer service when the first deli male employee saw me and my wife walk up he immediately left. Who does that? I blew it off ok cool it’s another employee behind the counter maybe she can service us. She did in fact after getting us our boars head Turkey leave after we asked for cheese to go with our Turkey. I don’t know what type of employer allows their employees to just leave customers but it plainly happens a lot because they felt comfortable doing so with no care. Me and my wife were not rude we were polite and everything. I’m writing this review because I don’t want others to feel like this. I don’t want to make it about race but when 2 white employees leave the counter when a African American walks up it’s hard not to side with that. I would rate this store in foley Al. Negative zero stars if it had the option. I will be taking my money to the orange beach store from this day forward. Or maybe even Winn- Dixie anything is better than the clown show at Publix in foley Al. Do better seek God.
