Just the worst experience trying to get some basics tonight. The produce section was SAD. If you’re looking for any organic produce, this is not the place. Two spices and a sauce I needed were out of stock and the cashier kept trying to sell me blueberries when I was trying to ask about another item.

We love "The Pig". Best prices on meat in the area. Other pricing is good too. The store in Foley has a huge wine and beer selection. They have also just put in a really nice hot bar and salad bar. Good selection of ethnic foods as well. They seem to also carry items meant for restaurants.

Thoroughly impressed with the staff cleanliness overall store also they just started sushi and it's absolutely delicious could not talk more great about it it's a wonderful store a great place to shop their food is delicious but the sushi is overwhelmingly great I suggest the sushi for anyone the prices are great and the sushi is absolutely amazing

First time in the Piggly wiggly. Looks like this one is been around for at least 30 years. Had a distinct smell inside but I didn't stop me from getting everything I needed. One thing that they did not have and maybe you can equate this to the 4th of July holiday weekend but there was no N.A. beer there

Did everyone see the updated Piggly wiggly?I just ran in for one thing...this place has really cleaned up..and Susan Cox was here...that girl runs a tight ship.... I posted pix of new layout and wine section...it looks great!...but one suggestion- gluten free should be in separate area... cross contamination-you can't have flour and gluten free in same area leaking for the highly allergic siliac people. I have to come and shop for my nanny due to this- always with love.Erin

This store is very clean and it has a good variety of items my daughter is from Georgia and I've never heard of this some cream corn that is in a tube like Jimmy Dean sausage well they had it so I bought like eight tubes 👍👍👍

I just came in contact with one of the rudest customer service people and Piggly wiggly ever. I make brittle and I need a paper bag to put it in one of them bought something I bought butter and this lady told me I couldn't get it back a paper bag I'm like I'll pay for it she says no but don't ask again it walks off I'm going to go ahead and talk to the manager about that because that was the rudest thing that I've ever experienced it's a damn bag

This is an updated review to reflect some changes they've made over the latter half of 2018. The store went through a light remodel job and has upgraded their seafood and bakery areas, along with installing new freezers in the cold section. Although bits and pieces of the old-old store remain it's a welcome upgrade and gives this store a selection on par or better than some of the nearby competitors. It remains the best supermarket for Hispanic goods like real sugar Mexican Coke and all kinds of unique Latin candies and sauce mixes. With the addition of a Lartigue's Seafood-run seafood counter, there's now fresh/frozen Gulf seafood and some interesting pre-made dips and other goodies that are really good. As always, the cost+10% deal remains a mixed bag, some items are a good deal while others are cheaper at Walmart or Publix, but overall it's a pretty pleasant shopping experience. There's now a single self-checkout lane, and all lanes accept tap-to-pay like Google Pay. Also, keep an eye out for expiration dates... I am always finding out of date food in the bakery and Mexican food aisles.

Wow. Do not shop at Piggly Wiggly. They tack on a 10% surcharge to your overall bill. You get absolutely nothing for that surcharge, it goes straight to the corporation profits.

My first time ever in a Piggly Wiggly. Actually didn’t even know they were still around. Super friendly, polite staff and very reasonable prices. I got a fresh hot chicken biscuit for $1.59. Definitely coming back!

Stopped in at lunch to get a meal from their hot bar. They had a great selection of appetizing food. I got fried chicken and fried fish. Very good! Great and talented staff in the deli!

When I went into this store this morning, I ran across two different employee's who didn't bother to even speak to me. The first employee I saw was stocking the shelves on the vegetable aisle. She looked at me and never said a word. I didn't expect to have a full conservation, but she could have offered some help. My next encounter was in the meat department. I was looking over their selection of different sausages and lunch meat and realize that somebody was standing there behind me, so when I turned around he just looked at me like I had three heads or something. He never spoke to me. He never asked if I was looking for anything in particular. When I walked away he found his voice and spoke to another customer who walked up. I know I'm not a regular customer of this business but I would appreciate if someone could at least to me when I'm in there store. The young lady that checked me out was very nice and friendly. So I hope in the near future that those other employees learn how to treat customers that don't come in this store all the time a little bit better.

Make sure you pay attention to the price on the shelf and what the items ring up at the register. Yes it may be a cost plus store, but the prices should still match and not be $1.89 on the shelf and $3 at the check out.

Great prices!!! Good quality meat and the butcher still cuts their meat! Clean store but not updated like newer stores but hey i would rather not pay for fancy and put the money back in my pocket! Huge wine selection! Plus you can’t go back home from vacation without a Piggly Wiggly shirt ! Nothing else says I took my vacay in the sweet southern south better! Y’all come back now ya hear!!! ;-)

This is the place for a great Standing Rib Roast. Zach the butcher can fix you up with a beauty. They can be expensive but well worth it. Sales on it may be coming up...Put in your order ahead of time..Thanks Piggly Wiggly. Great job Zach!

Unfortunately I always have a bad visit with Tammy at the register.... she shouldn’t work here if she doesn’t like her job... or can’t at least pretend to.5 stars for Faith!!! :)

Each time I shop Piggly Wiggly and use my American Express credit card I receive a $5 credit or kickback from American Express. American Express have a list of "small stores" that they have asked their customers to support and give a $5 credit for supporting them.For the first time since 1962 I ate a pork sandwich purchased at Piggy Wiggly today. I was really hungry and they did not have any beef sandwich to purchase. I cannot stand pork but with the BBQ sauce it was good. That does not mean that I will start eating pork. Ugh.The desk clerk was very attentive. She saw that all the lines were filling up and she asked me to come to the customer counter with my few purchases. That was nice and thoughtful of her.I encountered an elderly man while shopping in the store who was with a large German Shepard dog. It was not a service dog for the disabled. I did not say anything but wanted to. Why do people think it okay to take their dog inside a grocery store or any store?Pets belong at home. Keep them at home. If you are out and about with your pet take it home and do your shopping some other time. You could tell that the dog was scared. Its tail was tucked way under its body and its eyes were large. When he came close to me I tried to not make any sudden movements, did not say or do anything that might frighten the dog and cause it to bite me. What would a pet owner do if their frightened pet bit someone?

Got a thigh at deli asked to make sure it was fresh and of course she said yes. When headed to checkout noticed another employee carrying large of chicken for $5.99 when I checked out I paid almost $3 for (1) thigh with a small amt of gravy got to car Old is a understatement and the eggs in the gravy was like rubber I work for a living and I'm just tried of paying for something that's not worth feeding to my dog . Why cant they just be honest it would save my time and money. While I'm shopping I've tried several items and all are not worth selling or eating
