While I do not have any pictures or videos to share I needed to express my wonderful experience at this location. I have been visiting this PetSmart here recently for all my canine needs. My family just obtained a new puppy, so making sure we have everything has been vital. The staff at this location are always kind and friendly. Once the staff found out I was socializing the puppy they all would help greet the puppy and provide a wonderful and positive experience that I know will have beneficial lasting results. I highly recommend anyone to give this location a try!

Staff is great, store is always clean. However, as an insect lover it is always distressing to see how many containers of dead Hornworms and crickets this PetSmart keeps on their shelves.

General place of business, nothing special noted. Not a fan of the pet grooming that I saw. Handling of the dog was not very professional, leaving dog alone on the table leashed up is not ver6 safe, just my opinion as a vet tech.

I used to love PetSmart. In fact I still do love the salon. Courtney and Carly in the grooming salon is amazing. I love them and they always do such a good job. What I don’t like is the new store manager! I’ve been a long time customer and I spend $1,000s a year, and I mean thousands! I have 2 breeds that require a lot of grooming, plus we buy all our pet treats and toys from here, as well as their flea and tick medications and heart worm protection. However, since the store lost their previous store manager, I had to call and the person on the phone I assumed couldn’t be the store manager because of course a store manager should know policy and pricing. She did not, so I asked to speak with the manager. This offended her to a whole new level and she was already so aggressive and abrasive that I didn’t imagine it could get any worse. It did. So, comes time for my salon visit, she makes Courtney force me to sign additional paperwork to agree on the price, after I agreed over the phone to pay it and had signed the documents online. I was so embarrassed. She had people talking about me and she had been back there running her mouth about me to the salon employees and I no longer feel welcome in the store or the salon. All over the $5 demand fee that was added for the Thanksgiving week. The other customers was staring at me, bc no one else was having to sign additional papers and it was so embarrassing. If it was not for my dogs already being on the pet food, medication, and the trust I’ve built between the groomers, I would not come back. Stop treating the store managers so poorly and maybe the won’t leave because this new store manager I’m sure is gonna cause customers and employees to rethink their relationship with PetSmart. I even give the store a 0 internal review and expected to get a phone call and an apology from her saying something like “I’m new, I’m sorry”, but still it’s been over a week now and nothing. She does not care about Pet Parents in my opinion bc she did not care about me. She used her position to embarrass me in front of the employees and the other customers, for no reason. All she had to say was we are charging this fee and I said fine. I don’t think it’s fair since I have a mini and pay full price for a standard so it’s already way more expensive bc PetSmart doesn’t size her breed yet bc it’s still a newer breed but I digress. She could have been understanding and polite but she was rude, condescending, and made me feel like she knows nothing about Pets. I seriously won’t shop in store bc I don’t want to see her. Her attitude is so poor, that I’m not risking it bc I feel like her attack on me is personal. I have never been so embarrassed. Forced to initial papers that I know I wasn’t supposed to have to initial bc when I went to sign them, I was told, you don’t have to sign the bottom. I know I didn’t and I know I didn’t have to initial either bc I had been checked in online and I had signed my papers electronically. I could tell the employees were just as embarrassed as I was bc it was so extra. And I’m extra so I know when someone is being too much!

Picked PetSmart for our fish purchase. They have a decent selection of fish varieties, but more important they had very clean tanks and healthy looking fish. They also provide free aquarium water testing. On both of our visits (to check the store out first and then later purchase fish) it was easy to get help from staff. They were very helpful and friendly... can't ask for better!

I love my local PetSmart an about 77% of the time their workers know a bit about proper fish care. Which is awesome. Yet i been putting in applications for months and haven't heard anything back but they're constantly needing help apparently. Sucks because id love to work there with all the knowledge I have of fish & other pets id make a awesome candidate. Oh well

Pretty disappointed that the Florence AL location would not do a food drive for Colbert Co Animal Shelter. Spoke with one employee who said "it wasn't their job", spoke to store leader who said it was determined by corporate, reached out to PetSmart Charities who said it's the store leader who makes the determination. Seems like no one wants to help desperate animals in their LOCAL community. This is not the 1st time I've been disappointed with the Florence PetSmart. A few months ago there was a stray dog loose. I asked an employee about getting help and they said there's nothing they can do. They advised me to contact animal control. Why didn't they? I truly question their motto that they'll "do anything for pets". Very disappointed and won't be donating to PetSmart Charities any longer!

They are horrible for customer service! This has to be the WORST Petsmart i have ever visited! I will no longer spend any money with this location either! They’re grooming is bottom tier and not worth any of your money! Along with that my dog frequently visited this location until i noticed his grooms were not good at all! I’ve been taking him and my new pet to Barktown and they’re way more worth your money and time!! Please do not take your precious fur babies to this inconsiderate and non compassionate staff! They are the worst!!!

Pets are welcome here so we brought our boston terrier to pick out a toy. It was his first time so he was a bit nervous but we found the perfect toy & were very pleased with our choice. Customer service was excellent & the store was very clean. We will definately be back again in the near future.

I visited Pet Smart again today for kitty litter and food. Our recently adopted feral kitten is pretty particular about the food she will eat, and Pet Smart always has a great selection of everything.I have a choice between 4 pet supply stores here in Florence. All are nice, but the service does not compare to what I experience at PET Smart. I am quite impressed with the employees and their knowledge. I will continue to shop there until something more impressive comes along; but I doubt that will happen. I can't imagine how anyone could improve on the experience.

Every time I go in this store there are dead fish in almost all the tanks, also there was a dead turtle in the tank for a week even after me letting them know both times I was in the store a week apart. They do have a wide variety of aquarium decor and supplies. Other than that I'd never go here it's a last resort for me.

The staff are super nice and helpful, the groomers are excellent, the animals are well cared for and sold responsibly, and everything is clean and neat at this location. I drive 45 mins past 3 pet stores just to go here instead. Bonus points for all the sales and coupons they offer!

I looked all over for Purina Naterals cat food and no one had in stock except large bags. Pet Smart did and now my babies are very happy. Superior customer service and pet friendly associate. We will be back.
