My boyfriend and I go eat here about once every week. The food is good usually but as with every restaurant there are a few things that aren’t to our particular taste. What I recommend is the fish sandwich, chicken livers, steak sandwich, country fried steak, sauerkraut and weenies, okra, Mac n cheese, and the breakfast is good too. Huge omelets! Better than the other home style meal places around (humble opinion). Service has been great 99% of the time! Prices are reasonable, portions good. And as a bonus… they have “that good ice”😄

I recently dined at Homeside Restaurant for lunch, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. While I typically don't have high expectations for meat and three places, Homesite exceeded them. I opted for the blackened fish, and it was cooked to perfection, showcasing the cook's skill and attention to detail. Although the baked potato was slightly undercooked, the overall quality of the food and the exceptional service more than made up for it. Whatever the kitchen staff is doing, they should keep it up. Homeside Restaurant delivers a delightful dining experience worth revisiting.

YUM!! Will definitely go back to visit and try other items on the menu.Food was delicious! Vicki was a delight as our server. I had Fried Pork Chops, Fried Okra, Black-Eyed peas, Potato Wedges& cornbread, and was offered Banana pudding for dessert.Update and new picture 11/6/22Best photo I could show you.. I had Country Fried Steak, fried Okra, Black-Eyed peas, Potato Wedges and Cornbread. I didn't take before picture but after picture of plate cleaned with help of cornbread, (sopped up everything nicely) and the complimentary banana pudding. YUM!! again!!

Family friendly, great tasting food at an affordable price. The service is timely, staff is friendly, and it's got a home cooked feel. It's a nice place for lunch when you need to get in and out but you want quality food. Stopped in 3 separate times for lunch the past couple weeks and everything was hot and fresh and quick to the table. Can't beat the price either. Highly recommend.Parking: Plenty of parking on the side and handicap friendly as well.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly country esque atmosphere that rivals chain restaurants. Great laid back atmosphere.

I had steak and eggs. Steak was as thick as a saltine cracker and had gobs of salt on it. The cat head biscuit was hard and flat. The hash browns were barely browned and potatoes had a raw crunch. They were sent back to kitchen. Back out they came, warmer but still raw. The eggs over easy came out right. Ran out of coffee. Waitress was busy talking with table full of local men folk. Its my third and last time. Completely disappointed.

This was the first time eating here. The food was awesome! The price was extremely reasonable. We had corn nuggets for appetizer. There were a lot of them and was the best I’ve ever eaten. My husband had 6oz cheeseburger and fries and I had fried fish, fries and hush puppies. Both of us was very well pleased with the food. The portions were large and we had food to take home with us. We live an hour away, but will come back to eat again.

Beware buying steak here. Usually only get the dressing. The steak last night was washed to the point of no flavor. It was cooked perfect red like I like it. No blood. Had no flavor because it was washed. If you are going to wash the blood out of your meat. At least brime it in beef flavoring or anything for 12 hours before you cook. It was the worst meal. The potatoes were basically raw and hard. The salad was as plain as the steak was. It was $30 and it was not worth it. It was cheap and therefore you get what you pay for. It was the nastiest no flavor meal I have ever eaten. The dressing is the bomb.

Went for the all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Left fat and happy. Was very pleased overall. I would definitely say the crab legs were the better of the two. The grilled shrimp was the best of the three choices of shrimp. (Boiled, fried, and grilled)

This is my second time having homeside! All the food looks promising and delicious. This morning I ordered the loaded hashbrowns for breakfast and they were severely undercooked . They were generous with the toppings however I found the meal completely inedible because the potatoes were raw. My husband had hashbrowns as a side and his were raw too. I give two stars because at least they were generous with toppings. Too bad I couldn’t eat it.
