I love this little grocery store.It's convenient and I prefer to get my meat from here.Giving 4 stars because the produce department seems bare and doesn't usually have what I'm looking for.The staff is friendly and very helpful

Been going here since 2007. Today went back to meat counter and a whole chicken jumped in my basket. I asked the meat man to cut it. Detached the pulls bone and WOW!!! The best iron skillet chicken ever. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. It is now our go to.

Great place to shop keep the hometown grocery stores open I don't care for the big food chains they are overpriced and don't never cut chicken or meat products right way and not that comfort feeling when shopping and get a lot of things don't need ...thumbs up to food outlet a k.a. big star and Piggly wiggly love these places been going in for 51 years everyone support your local grocery stores and places for your community cause we will all be sorry if the big chains ever push them.out...shop local....

My go to place for fresh meats. They still have their own butcher and the strip steaks are hard to beat. Very friendly staff and a very quaint little grocery. Great pork chops, ground beef, flank steak, and pork loin chops as well. I don't buy my meat anywhere but here for freshness and good prices.Meat still affordable and fresh here even in the current inflation economy.

Always such an easy place to shop. Although they may not have everything the larger groceries have, they do have a good selection. The employees are all so nice. Love that it's just a small town grocery.Not to mention the patrons are nice too. Support small business!

Nice clean store with friendly and helpful employees. They have great sales every week and the meat is the best in town at great prices. They also have the pick five program for $19.99 . And take special orders if needed . I won't shop for grocery any where else!!

The male manager of this store is rude and hateful! I went in to speak to him for a project at UNA. He insinuated that my partner and i were "tree hugging hippies" and knew nothing about environmentally and economically friendly products. He went on to state that 95% of Lauderdale county could not give a rats butt about environmentally friendly products so not having some of them that local competitors did have was in no way effecting his business. I am a 35 year old Iraq veteran and do not appreciate being talk to like I am a kid! Will NEVER shop there ever again!

There regular food prices are compatible with other "chain" stores . But there meats ,from ribeyes to roasts and pork to chicken are of good qualities.and the sales each week is what brings me here every week.
