I love the $ Dollar General , it's great place to shop "for certain things" That is cheaper then Walmart , But Walmart is my Favorite Store , besides the$ Dollar Tree .

Nice store. For a discount store it is clean and fairly well organized. Staff is friendly. I wish they had a little more variety in food options. Overall it's a good place to go if you really hate going to Wal-Mart during the day.

Great value, you may park with in 30-50 feet of the door, prices are very competitive with the big box stores. Conveniently located and a friendly staff and there's always a cashier waiting to check you out. No self check out, just friendly helpful people

Exactly what they say they are. Have great values. Often the merchandising is on the fly, stock moves quickly, and it's way too often that the line is held up by a product not ringing correctly and the employees not being empowered to rectify it. But, they have great prices on name brand snacks, soda, AsSeenOnTV, etc.

Very friendly people. Their prices are a bit high some items are as much as Wal-Mart prices. This is not good as this is a dollar store.I recommend them changing their prices or changing their name maybe to Wal-Mart Jr.

Dollar Gene in Muscle Shoals Alabama on Woodward needs to be shut down a d cleaned. It is so nasty and smells. The only reason i gave 1 star was because the young lady at the checkout was nice and tried to find out what was making it smell.

I was just in this store, the cashier was a young thing man with blonde hair. I just bought a soda. My total was $1.09. I held up a dollar bill and a dime to place in cashier's hand. Instead of waiting for me, he snatched the bill out of my hand causing me to drop the dime. Then he threw the penny change at me, even though I had my hand out for him to place in my hand. He never said one single word to me even though I said thank you and told him to have a nice day. He never offered my receipt, he just ripped it off and crumbled it up and threw it away and walked off. I have never had bad service at a Dollar General before, but this was totally unacceptable behavior.

Better prices on some items than at the bigger chain stores.im 56,grated hair dont like showing my license everytime I purchase alcohol and the same worker over and over,but they dont make the policy .
