The lady in the shoe department is great and very helpful. Now the younger guy that wants to creep around and watch you shop isn't. I'm not sure if he thinks he's security or what, but when you're walking around carrying your goods to purchase, that doesn't mean that everyone is trying to steal from the store. Definitely will go back because he's very entertaining to watch as he is watching me and others shop.

Even though this place is huge and seems to have everything...I rarely find exactly what I came looking for...staff is friendly...prices seem fair...and selection is great...I guess it's not you Academy...its me lol

The store seems to always be under stocked for fishing supplies. Sure they have a variety of options but when something is specifically in season there should be someone there in that department that keeps up with what needs to be stocked up on during different times of the year.

Friendly helpful staff, wide selection of sporting goods and outdoor activity necessities. Fishing and hunting supplies galore. I take advantage of the sales that they seem to have fairly regularly. Lots of rebates as well. Great place to find gifts for those guys and gals that might be tough to shop for, you know the ones. Pleasant experience everytime I'm in.

While I was shopping today by the smokers and grills a girl with multi color blue hair was pushing a rack, hit my elbow pretty hard, turned around and looked at me and never said I’m sorry or are you alright. This was at 7:15 pm on January 11, 2024. Then you have young sales person walking around with their cell phones out texting on them

The guy with the slick back hair in the gun dept. was rude. My husband doesn't use a keyboard and I was trying to help him about finding the right key without me touching the keys. My husband copied his address off of his driver's license and the dude said that he spelled it wrong and that was the second time. So we just said pissed on it and left. We will not be back

Well stocked and organized, the front employees are professional. The clothing department and shoes have all the best brands at the highest price in town. Guns are normally well stocked not always on the ammunition but that's a problem across the board. The gun prices ( my opinion only) at regular prices are usually higher. They do have occasional good ads and I have purc 📭👑

Went to the store in Florence AL to try to exchange a Christmas gift. Had read exchange policy online before going and expected to have to pay a difference in price. Once there, I retrieved the item I wanted which was actually cheaper than the one I got first. Employee went through the process of exchange and told me the one I had gotten to begin with had been on sale previously for a ridiculously low price therfore she couldn't make the exchange. I've never seen a fishing tackle box that sells for $70 be put on sale for $10! I left the exchange at the counter and left the store with my original gift. Will never shop at this store again!
