Just left from spending 220$ I forgot to get a blade for my tool. So I nicely asked a female if she would watch for me being she works there...while I retrieve the blade. So I said ma'am will you watch.. and the woke came out. She said mam,mam,mam...all with attitude. Won't shop there again.

BUYERS BE WARNED: DO NOT USE THE DELIVERY COMPANY The delivery men were unpleasant, inattentive, patronizing, and indolent. As soon as they arrived, they determined the optimal path for removing and installing the new refrigerator. After determining the optimal path, a few objects were moved to make room for it. One delivery man informed me that I had to take the doors off the old refrigerator after I cleared the route because he wasn't paid by the hour but by the day. I reiterated to him that I paid for them to haul off the old refrigerator. Furthermore, he stated that the delivery will be canceled since it will take time and he doesn't have it. He left after canceling the delivery. I called customer service who stated GE contracted the delivery service. I contacted GE who stated that Home Depot contracts the delivery company. Not only do you all have the worse delivery company but a lying customer service rep too. I will never do business with you all ever again. I canceled my order.

Went to get wood and drywall. Employees were clearly unhappy with their jobs and not very helpful. Took over 2 hours to get 4 pieces of drywall and 7 pieces of plywood. Will never come back to this location Lowe’s is so much better.

I made a purchase order for lumber from the store on Sunday, and the order was pulled for pickup on Tuesday morning. When my contractor arrived to pick up the order the MANAGER had the staff to put my order back on the selves. THIS WAS A TERRIBLE INCONVENIENCE FOR MY CONTRACTOR AND ME BECAUSE WHEN ARE ON A CLOSE TIME SCHEDULE. I have never had this problem before so I was very disappointed on this morning. IT TOOK THEM 3 HOURS TO PULL MY ORDER AGAIN. THAT WAS A WASTE OF HIS TIME AND MINE WAITING FOR THE ORDER. I TRULY HOPE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE! THE MANAGER WAS VERY INCONSIDERATE OF ME AS A CUSTOMER!!!!

It's the Home Depot. They're going to have 8 or 9 out of the 10 things you need so you still have to go to Lowe's. But they're the only place that carries torque washers and deck code requires them if you're using carriage books.

The store is often lacking in products. Inventory is low for what I believe to be common items. There is also improvement needed in the organization of the merchandise that is on the shelves. Friendly staff, and easy access location.

Home depot was great my husband and I went there and bought a chainsaw. They were very helpful they explained how to take care of it. Reasonable price.i found out they do curb pick up and they do recycle for me I've been buying tools lawn movers drills saws Sanders wrench sets. MY husband has all the tools he need I still go to home depot and buy other thing's from there.for him and myself. Check them out summer isn't over yet for your home improvement they have what you need.

I ordered online and after receiving an email that my already assembled grill was ready, I headed to the Home Depot. Carl was working the customer service and it was very kind and located my grill very quickly. The lady working the door helped me load it onto my trailer for the ride home. I would definitely shop at this location again.

Of course what I needed was not in stock which nothing I ever need seems to be. It can be ordered of course but what was needed was needed immediately so we went elsewhere and actually found what was needed at ACE Hardware although many miles away.

It took us a hr in line for them to figure out how much a 2x4x8 was. They even made us go back to the lumber to take a pic of the barcode to find out that barcode ain't even in their system. Very rude and unprofessional. I would drive 2 hrs out of my way just to skip this particular store. Not even the manager is professional. Management acted frustrated with me because he couldn't figure out how much their product was.

Worst customer service of all Home Depot stores if you don't want sell or don't have costumer service culture must close this store. I requested assistance in isle 24 twice and waited 20 minutes (total), NO ONE ever came. I in needs a security door first lady said just wait.... other lady said you check in other aisle, and I said, yes I already check, there just are 32" and I need 36", are just there in the second shelf of the rack and 4 employees just chilling their few feet away and no help, I tried to bring the ladder and get them by myself and now, yes 5 or 6 employees screaming don't do it don't climb the ladder... Is crazy, and not is just this time this happens always when you need assistance. If you need something and you now where is... Go and buy it... If you think need assistance... Keep away from here and go to other store. I went about 7 miles away to Lowe's (Bessemer) and not only did the associate gladly help me, they had MANY of what I was looking for, IN STOCK! Or drive a bit more and go to home depot Hoover or Pelham other kind of employees and a better organization in the stores. 💯

Hi. I needed something on a shelf that I couldn’t reach. Went to customer service and they called out twice for an associate nobody came. An then someone finally shows up goes to help someone else and then comes as Im leaving because I’ve been waiting so long. Sad…. Make your workers either stay in their area or have someone in their area for breaks or something. Someone should ALWAYS be available to help.

If you need anything for your home this is the place to go. I had to go twice in a row for home renovation items. The first time I went I need cabinets and racks cut. Although they were busy I received great service. I also received help taking my cabinets to the truck without having to ask.The second day I went looking for a dishwasher, refrigerator and a gas stove. Walked to the back and Kimberley was there to help. She found exactly what I was looking for with delivery quickly. She also gave me some awesome advice concerning some plants I was looking to buy.With the way customer service is now in so many places, it just felt really good to get superb help! I will definitely be shopping here from now on.

I came here to trade out a dewalt dual battery charger bc the right side didn’t work and I’ve had it less than a year. Customer service wanted to nitpick the warranty on a $120 charger. Jasper homedepot was willing to do a fair trade no questions asked but they didn’t have it in stock. Fairfield should be willing to do the same

Had to give a star, but doesn't deserve that star.The customer service is the worst. No one wants to answer any questions.But wants to close down the isle that many people want to get to because that worker was leaving in 5 minutes and wasn't willing to help, and couldn't provide another person to unlock the wire cage. Will definitely recommend driving to another location or Lowe's.Any where but this place.

Walked in, found my needs, checked out- all in 15 min. Hard to do when there are so many things I want. One problem is Home Depot has for many years gone back and forth on which veterans they will allow discounts for and which ones they will not: active, retired, etc. Even now they don't allow veterans discounts on major appliances- another new twist. I am grateful that they try to bless veterans. Hope the new phone app helps.

I've kinda been partial to a certain competitor, but after my latest visit here, this will be my goto for the majority of my home repair project needs. With the use of the app, it made finding what I needed almost a cake walk (it was definitely easier than my project). Also with the "Available in store today" option, you can go here with confidence. Every associate that I enter acted with, was friendly and knowledgeable. May be a little longer drive, but I feel it is definitely worth it.

Employees were all very friendly and almost all asked if I needed help while shopping. Most everything was in order and easy to find. This location is in a pretty bad area but I've lived close to this location most of my life so I'm accustomed to the environment.

This review is for a Customer Associate at the Fairfield Al. location by the name of Velma sorry didn't get her last name. But as she was on her way to lunch I stopped her to inquire about some help in blinds and my God..... not only did she stop before going to lunch to assist me with the matter she also gave impeccable customer service to me and my mother. It was totally appreciated.

This is the absolute worst Home Depot I have ever been to, and I've been to quite a few! I waited 45 minutes for someone capable of checking product availability to make his way to where I was waiting, only to find out that nothing I needed was in stock. Also, there were no experienced/skilled employees available to assist me. The employees who were stationed in their respective departments, just as they ALL should have been on a busy Saturday one week before Christmas (instead of wandering around the store, joking and playing with coworkers while talking on their cell phones)were very kind and as helpful as they could possibly be, but the two that were assisting me didn't know enough about painting (best method of stripping a pressed tin kitchen ceiling that currently has several layers of paint on it and which type of paint should be used to paint steam heat system radiators and pipes - must be able to withstand high temperatures) to assist a skilled professional or a seasoned DIYer.
