This store really needs more attention from the district management and corporate! The items are unavailable, shelves are empty some looking junky and need restocking! Apparently it’s not enough employees working there! It check out line is closed except one person working it. I asked another employee standing up front near another cashier blowing up balloons was she open? She replied, “No” and continue blowing up balloons to decorate the store I guess, bc it wasn’t for a customer! And the one open cashier line had about 6-7 people in it to be waited on. Now what was more important?!!Finally, she looked up and decided she would open her line for service after a good while to take customers!It’s been a good while since I’ve visited this store and it will be a long time before I go back. I was on this side of town and needed to find an item at The $1.25 Store.

Poor customer service.I had to wait for at least 10 minutes for a bathroom key and immediately after I asked for it, the sales associate by the name of Konecia was disrespectful about it.She said “you’ve been here before, in fact, you go here everyday. You should’nt ask for it.”Prices are okay, I would definitely recommend going somewhere else if you want quick, respectful customer service.

I went in this dollar store in Fairfield on 9/18/2023 at 2:08 pm and this register person denied me a bag at this location because I had one item. A customer that was leaving had to give me one of her bags. She had a very nasty attitude towards me . I don't know her name but she was a heavy set lightskin black woman. She doesn't need to be working at this location if she can't give customer service.

This Dollar Tree really amazed me. It was stocked well and one of the neater ones that I've been in. There were actual stockers on the floor while I was there. Each $1 Tree is different. I found some nice little treasures at this one. The cashier was most pleasant. The stock guy, they called on him 2 or 3 times. He knows his store. He either walked straight to it or knew he didn't have it. The line was long and another cashier opened right up.

I went there today thinking that they are suppose to open at 8:00 AM. I got there at 8:30 and one of the workers was there. He said the store was closed and that he had to wait for his manager to get there and would open at 8:30. At 8:30 AM another employee arrived but the store wa still closed. By this time there were 6 cars parked out front waiting for them to open. A man waiting knocked on the door to see if he could find out anything. The male employee said that he the reason the store was closed was due to the cash register being short of money. He said that he called the manager and was told to open the store and that they would be there at 8:30. He chose not to open the store (even though he was told to) because he didn't feel comfortable. Seriously! 3 cars left. Myself and the other 2 people said we wanted to go inside and it wasn't right for him to keep the store closed when he had already told us his manager had instructed him to open. He decided to let us inside complaining the entire time. This is the closest Dollar Tree to my house. I have bee here 3 times an 2 of those times have left a bitter taste in my mouth. From now on I will drive to the one on Bessemer because I always have a good experience there. The Fairfield location really needs to make sure they employees are properly trained in how to open and close the store as well as proper customer service ettiquet.

Manager on duty on 11/26/19 @ 8:20 was very rude and didn't even give me the time to finish before she jumped down my throat about a receipt. I have been here before and have been treated way better by team members... was is latasha or natasha's problem. Seems like it was brought in from home.. 1 star from me and I eont be visiting this store ever again!Thanks

Top notch when it comes to lazy workers and 1 star security. Sonja Hines if the sign on dollar tree says 9 that does not mean 8:anything it means 9. In an area that doesnt have a Walmart and everything closes early the community counts on the few stores it has. People like sonja Hines and the sorry security guard dont care if u have an emergency or not, in need, what ever... they're demeanor is F U literally....

I love shopping at the Dollar Tree, but the one in Fairfield seems to be out of stock a lot. The shelves seem emptier than other stores. I guess that's a sign of good business for them.

THIS STORE IS HORRIBLE EVERY TIME I GO INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT ITS NEVER CLEAN TRASH EVERYWHERE IN THE PARKING LOT AND THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. THERE ARE OTHER STORES THAT OFFER BETTER QUALITY IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCT. THEY REALLY NEED TO STEP UP THEIR GAME BEFORE WAL-MART BUYS THEM OUT. LOL!!!

This dollar tree was disgusting .Things like food, bottles, and other things that they sell were on the ground inside and outside . They have trash behind the coolers . The drinks in the coolers were flat. And what really made me mad was that there was only one register open Until the customers complained. I would not recommend going to this dollar tree. The Only reason I came to this dollar tree was because I live near it.

This dollar tree has expired merchandise on the shells. Just asked a worker that has been there 7 years (according to her badge) and her response right away, I don't know nothing about that. I tried to purchase some prebrush mouth wash and the back stated November 2017. Today is February 12, 2018.

When they're cleaning up in the morning(in my case it's their parking lot cleanup), do not expect them to open up their store doors for you at the opening time unless or until they're finished cleaning.

They are slow with a line down the aisle...the complete aisle...seeing that there are a lot of customers no one came to help no one asked for help and stood there dealing with one customer having a conversation like everyone else is not waiting to check out.
