This is just a great local place when I visit family in Alabama. Non descript until you see the inventory and meet the staff working there. Every time I visit my family, I always shop there. I highly recommend it to anyone.

We moved to Eva a year and 1/2 ago and we started shopping at Jack’s Foodland and I have to say the store is always clean and well stocked, the employees are always very helpful and friendly. They have fantastic choices of meat, we are super busy with some big projects at home and don’t have time to cook so we decided to buy some of their Deli smoked chicken wings,chicken salad, grape salad and pepper jack pimento cheese it was all well priced and it was delicious. I will definitely be buying more from their deli. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A really gr8 grocery store close to Eva, AL. My wife and I have been twice recently. Larry and his employees are doing a gr8 job keeping the store neat, clean, and organized. There is a lot of nice variety in the store to see and consider and the prices are good. The meat department is good too. We also enjoy the drive through the country to get there.

Stopped by to pick up something to carry to Sunday night Bible study. Ended up purchasing a Louisiana Crunch cake. Had a very pleasant experience at the checkout. Cashier was very nice and friendly. Cake turned out to be very good.

Went here with my friend a little after 7pm and saw a wet floor sign but the area was dry walked 2-3 aisles down slipped and fell but there wasn't another wet floor sign for another 2 aisles. The girl mopping heard me fall and after I got up she went and moved the wet floor sign that was hidden behind a bread stand. Not once during my entire shopping experience did I ever hear an im sorry or are you okay from anyone that works there.

The store was clean, stocked, and everything was easy to get to. The only thing, I shopped at a bad time, the rest period between two snowfalls. All, and I mean all, the sale items were gone. Not the stores fault, people were panic buying food, and they got all the sale items. Overall, it was ok for grocery shopping (I don't like grocery shopping no matter how nice the store).

Used to love this place and used to go 3 to 5 times a week but during the pandemic they overcharged for everything. 8 dollars for a bag of rice you could get across the street for just a dollar. I feel like they are greedy and I will spend my money elsewhere.

The building is older, but the store is very clean and well stocked. Best meat,butchers will cut meat to your order. They always slice the perfect cut for my jerky.

During most of the past two months this is the only local grocery store with fresh hamburger meat and pork. The shelves are better stocked than my local Walmart and kroger at the moment. This is a great hometown grocery store with friendly helpful staff.
