They younger guy whos been working there for the past few days has a very unpleasant and disrespectful attitude. I had a handful of items and I accidentally left my credit card in my car. I asked him to suspend my transaction so that other people can check out and he said, "you have to go get it because I don't want to have to ring all this up again." Really?? It was 6 small items. I apologized and he was cold to me. This guy acts like he's never made a mistake in his life. Poor customer service

Watch out for these brutes.... mean as can be and can't do math and assume you can't either. I got a bachelor's degree but I don't need that to tell you 10+12+11% ain't $35 it's like $25. They assumed I did something wrong with the sale so I went and grabbed the sale tag and proved them wrong and the manager just dug her heels in while the new girl got quiet and realized her boss was being a dingus. I said keep your stuff and left after that disrespectful treatment for some junk food I don't really need to begin with. Lesson number 1 manager lady is the customer is always right until proven wrong. I was assumed wrong until I proved myself right so you missed day 1 of manager school. You also missed day 1 of adulting... don't run your mouth when you are wrong. Eat 1 stars! You earned it!

Young blonde female employee is super rude and uncaring. If the management has any backbone they will handle the problem. Employees are a reflection of management. Good thing I was in self check-out and just witnessed her being rude to about three customers in a row. If it would have been me I would have dropped all my items and walked out and spend my money else where. Nobody was rude to her so need to give that attitude in return. Expect what you inspect.

I had the absolute worst experience so far at this location the young blonde girl who worked 10/30 around noon was the absolute cockiest and rudest worker I’ve seen at this DG, I get how she was doing her job, but she certainly didn’t have to treat a paying customer so rudely!!! Can’t believe the management would allow someone like her to work for their business and treat customers so rudely. If she is working next time when we come in, we will be boycotting this location because it shows the management doesn’t care who works for them and how they treat their paying customers. Most other workers that we have seen in our years of coming to this location have been pleasant and always a joy to come see, except this certain employee... very disappointed how someone so rude could be working here serving our small community.

I absolutely love this location. The employees are friendly and curtious as well as always willing to assist in whatever manner necessary. The store is clean and organized as well as a great assortment of products. They ate very knowledgeable as to when shipments will arrive with restock products. This is one location it is evident that the employees are happy with their place of employment and it shows through their attitudes and willingness to help. Love, love, love. Will and would recommend to anyone in the area looking for quality products at an affordable price.

It's been recently remodeled and looks fantastic all fresh and new. However I was a second person in line with 15 people behind me trying to check out with one cashier. Cashier number two was involved with something God only knows. And I couldn't even back out to get out of the parking lot. But Becca the manager is great and staff is great... the cashiers just didn't have it going on today around 2:33 ish

Brand new "Self Checkout" needs to get checked out. Consistently long lines are the norm here. On the plus side, the employees know where products are located and I have always been treated well--even when the lines are long.

Almost everyone who works at the store is very friendly and they always try to help you find anything you need the store is usually well stocked I don't know what's going on with the Ice House shipment but it's been a little low lately other than that I love the store

Every time I go in this store for the past year it's a 30 to 40 minute wait at cash register. I just had 10 minutes of my 30 minute wait wasted on waiting for a manager to explain why a digital coupon didnt work unless the app is used. The cashier wouldnt find the manager, even thow we were all waiting on one. She wouldnt ask for another cashier, even thow the line is backed up half way down the store. Once the next employee shows up, 3 people are checked out and gone behind me, because I was next in line to the original register and was past the next register that opened . It is worth the drive a few miles away to the next dg on hwy 20, it will save double the time to just drive there.

As hard as the women in the elberta store are working, the holidays with all the congestion, these women make sure they are tidy and clean. I don't go top any other dollar store. Thank you ladies, you are appreciated

Used the self check out,it froze up,the cashier took all of my items and re-rang them on her register,they got me to leave my name and number said they would call if it went through,I NEVER GOT A CALL,and had to drive 20 miles back to the store to have it refunded to my card.....a lot of aggravation,and time wasted that could've been avoided with managers being properly trained on the registers....AVOID THE SELF CHECK OUT....you cant even use your coupons...or mobile coupons...

This Dollar General is in Alberta very helpful people and there were two cashiers which was amazing where I'm from in Monroeville both those stores suck rude cashiers don't care they just want their paycheck

Very convenient (on my route to and from work) and clean. The locations in Robertsdale and Elsanor had everything I was looking for and the cashiers were both very friendly.

I worked at the Dollar General for years....we had a policy that if there were more than 3 people in line...you were to call for help at another register...this is not the case in Elberta....they will have you standing in a line 9 people long....not how you should treat your faithful locals

Good place. The only complaint i have is that they NEVER have enough registers open. Sometimes there are 10 people in line and they wont open up another register to expedite the process. Very frustrating.
