Do you have 45 minutes to wait in line at the drive thru? Then this place is great. Seriously, I've waited in line 45 minutes in the drive thru. Once you actually get your order, the food is perfectly fine and the service is friendly, but that wait! If they would hire some more people and open the dining room (still closed from COVID, I guess?) it would probably make a huge difference.

It's the best option for a good burger in this small town of Elba, Al. The food is always fresh and hot, ordered to cook. The burgers are juicy as well...the picture below explains it all

Honestly, giving dairy queen a three star review because since their chicken finger baskets changed they have given the bare minimum amount of food and beverage. It used to be my go to meal. My husband went one day to get us lunch on his break from work. He sent me a picture of my lunch he had just paid for. The picture was of all four chicken fingers in his hand. They did not overlap, go passed the side of his palm and each single chicken finger had space in between them. That's how tiny they were. I'm not a confrontational person by any means. But I really don't know anyone would appreciate paying $9.57+ for a four piece chicken finger basket, several (the definition of several is four or more) burnt french fries and a watered down, flat soda. I honestly love Dairy Queen. But since they changed this certain item and others also, the quality of the food has gone down drastically. I'm not the only person that thinks so either. The ice cream, still delicious. But, it's ice cream.

Just left after ordering a cheeseburger combo with medium shake and a fish sandwich with fries. 19.58. Got home and my husband took a swallow of shake and gagged. OMG it smells and tastes like Creomulsion cough medicine. What is up with that. He always gets shakes from there but he says now he'll probably never get another one. Tried to call, no answer so left to write review here. Is something wrong with your machines or mixes or what? Need to check before someone else gets it.

I bought a BOGO chili cheese dog from here for the first time. I was craving. But I was so sadly disappointed in the quality of it. I pushed through the first one. The second one is going in the garbage.The first chili cheese dog.Was crunchy when bitten. I'm guessing it was microwaved or sat under a lap way way too long.The chili cheese looked microwaved as well or sat under a heat lamp way too long.No happiness here. No joy. Only disappointment.I guess DQ is only good for ice cream.I gave one star because of the dog.My edit.It was one star. But I went back because I was craving a banana milkshake with added chocolate. OMG! I LOVED IT!!!!!! However, in my opinion I felt like the milkshake could have been more thick. But either way, I loved it and I would buy it again!Thank you DQ for having banana shakes!

It is slow but since it's one of 3 fast food places in Elba I don't have much choice. Burger king is absolutely horrible here so this is the only other burger option on the fly.

Food has always been great. But in a fast food environment the 2 that was working the front and the window passing the food out was not in no hurry at all. They both stood at the front register and talked for a bit. I seen he had to help her with something but after he helped her then go back to your job. They spent a lot of time just standing there idle. We ordered ice creams so I know they weren't waiting on the cooks. And when working with the public like I have to do daily, smiling always brings joy to the customer and to the work place. Don't come to window like you just woke up out of bed. As a critic still over all it was good. But I place blame on management for lack of proper training. I guess that's why I would never make it as a trainer lol I'm to strict. I just want the best for the ones that are spending their hard earned money to make my living for me. But all this is out of love. Nothing harsh against no one. Just my thoughts. I will be going back. I love the food there. God Bless and have a blessed day.

I only go there for ice cream with my "fur-kids." It is my favorite soft serve and has been for 50 years. The dogs really like it as they can hardly wait for their turn with the cone holder - me!I like the store in Elba. Everyone there is friendly except one server. That's not DQ's fault. The store is going to be renovated soon. Until it is, everyone with poor vision or walking difficulties be very careful going in or out of the main restroom door. Immediately upon entering there is a steep ramp up. It is not immediately visible. It is very easy to fall.

Just bought a small Butterfinger Blizzard for $5.22 and there were a few dust pieces of Butterfinger but mostly I paid for vanilla ice cream. Pitiful!!!

My mom bought chicken strips and they were very hard. The bread was hard too. I bought a chili cheese dog and the hot dog was very hard. The french fries were good. But overall, the food was awful.

It's pretty much guaranteed your going to have a ten minute wait for every vehicle in front of you while in the drive-thru line, but I've always had very pleasant interactions with any employee I've made contact with.

The footlong chilli combo that I ordered was not good at all. The weiners we're tough and hard to chew. Fries were lukewarm, the only things that were good were the Heath blizzard and the minute maid lemonade that came with the combo. The only two perfect things. Everything else was not digestible.

I like this Dairy Queen, better than all of the other DQ'S. The employees have always been friendly. What I like about this DQ is; it is more on the old fashioned side. When Dairy Queen was Dairy Queen.

This Dairy Queen was bought by someone from India and he does not buy good food products and he runs the DQ like it was a cheap Indian food restaurant. He gets his meet products from a subpar supplier and it's not like an original DQ.
