Out of all my years going to wet pets this place is awful. Maintenance is not done clearly. The mice cage is cracked and held together with duct tape. The tarantulas are living in moldy substrate and water a centimeter high. If you are too scared to care for the pets you work with you shouldn’t be working there. Birds are distressed and depressed. Fish tanks are moldy with dead fish floating everywhere. No telling how long it’s been since they’ve all been fed. Absolutely ridiculous. Shut this place down.

They were very nice and helpful. So happy they had a bunny for our daughter’s birthday. They had everything her bunny needed too.

Just left after looking at the puppies.The story stinks worse than would be expected from a pet store. They had three puppies in one cage and one by himself in another. They all looked sickly. Barely able to lift their heads. Laying on grated floors. Two of them didn’t move the entire time we were there. I wanted to try to rescue even just one, but they are asking $1500 for unregistered dogs that look half dead.. not sure what else to say.

This is the dirtiest pet store I have ever been in. Every bird cage was caked with a thick layer of seed shells and old, yellowed newspaper (the parakeets in particular seem over populated), several empty enclosures with dead feeder crickets or reptile poop and urates, and the grossest fish takes I've ever seen coated in several inches of black slime, some to the point where said slime was floating in the water. Not to mention the advertisements of backyard bred puppies (not in the store when I was there but considering they're advertised across the window, I'm sure they're a regular feature). One hermit crab enclosure had cracked and was "fixed" with packing tape. The center bird displays are so foggy and dirty. I feel so bad for every animal that has to be there. I can't imagine how many are sick and end up dying soon after purchase. I'm sure it's frequent, especially with the sign at the front stating that live animals cannot be refunded or exchanged.

This is the WORST pet store I’ve ever been to. Almost every animal in the store looked malnourished and was not given the appropriate food and water. The cages were NOT clean. The parrot had plucked all of its feathers from stress and the fish tanks were so dirty and all the water was murky. The puppies were so out if it they didn’t even wake up when I pet them. They were barley breathing and didn’t have access to any food or water. I do NOT recommend this pet store and it should be shut down.

I went to wet pets today with my boyfriend and I was not pleased with the experience. I'm a big animal lover so to see stuff like this hurts me. I wanted to look at the puppies just to see what they have. I proceed to ask the man could I look at the puppies and he replied yes. As we approached the cages I seen 3 puppies in 1 small cage along with others piled in cages. In my opinion puppies should not be piled in cages. They should each have there own cage if they can't afford it don't sell them. Also when he went to give me a puppy to hold it was covered in poop and urine. I feel so bad for these puppies for having to be in that environment. I also witnessed a couple of puppies in a cage biting each other. I get puppies will be puppies but don't put them in cages with each other and clean the cages.

I will say this building is OLD. However, as soon as you open the door you are greeted by a horrible smell. Some fish tanks have nothing living it them but instead of cleaning them & having them empty, they have nasty mold (definitely not tank plants.) Or something nasty growing inside them. I've grown aquarium plants before, that's no plant I'd be interested in having. The poor macaw that's been there for years has been caged due to aggressive behavior. But he's certainly not getting the attention he needs cause he has plucked himself bald. Puppies had feces in their crates & they seem to be really concerned about them interacting with people (as is that's the worst thing they are being exposed to sitting in their own feces!) I've had the pleasure of purchasing 2 dogs from this store. One was our beloved $100 discount puppy (basset/beagle hound) she lived 12.5 golden yrs before cancer took her. The other is still with us (a piebald TRUE miniature dachshund top weight is maybe 8 lbs wet, $500) both had hook worms when 1st brought home. But nothing beyond that. If you don't have a weak stomach to smells or dog feces (like I do) shopping here isn't bad. But they are not busy to justify the lack of cleaning not being done.

Love to look at the animals they have. It's so sad that the parrot that has been there for about 30 years passed away. The staff are very friendly. The best pet store around.

Haven't been in here in a little while. It has definitely gone down hill. Doesn't seem like maintenance is being done on the tanks, and all of them needed a clean. Not much selection this time either

I wasn't impressed. I went in to buy a few colorful fish for a tank I had. I had the tank set up. Went to the store to get the fish and was denied the fish I wanted. I was told I had to let my tank run more two weeks before putting fish in it. And since I didn't know exactly what size my tank was I was allowed to buy fish. However I explained the tank was much bigger than the one they had all the fish in I wanted I was still denied. I went elsewhere bought an algea eater and the fish I wanted without hassle. I doubt I conduct business here again.

Love it here! The sugar gliders, ferret, birds, and snakes.. They also have fish but we didnt get any due to fact some seem to be acting sick.. We did get our parakeet 2 parakeet friends..

Small but nicely stocked. My family always stops in here on our way to the beach to check out the animals. They had a decent selection of tarantulas, if you're looking 😉, that most other pet stores seem to be lackkng.

In all my years of living, and taking care of pets, I've never seen living conditions for pets more horrifying than the way these pets were living. Especially the fish and birds. I'm a fish tank and aquarium enthusiast, the way these fish tanks looked were absolutely disgusting. These fish are better off living in a puddle on the ground. The puppies I saw had barely any room to move around and weren't even excited to see people. Barely energetic enough to even know they are there. They do not deserve to have these animals.I 100% DO NOT recommend this place as a place to get pets!!!

Staff is always friendly and helpful when making purchases, and always answers any questions I have about pet care to the best of their abilities. I purchase my feeder mice/rats from here as well and they are always in good condition and the right size.

If I could give zero stars I would! I bought two small rats and they both had fleas. They both died within 48 hours and one of them turned green! Will NOT be buying from here ever again. The lady is always rude and the living conditions of these poor animals is ridiculous

I love the staff in Wet Pets. They are very friendly people and very knowledgeable about care for the animals they sell and any products they sell for animal care. I am very happy with the Cavachon puppy I bought from them. His first vet visit confirmed they take extremely good care of the puppies until they find a home.

I've never seen so many animals enclosures in such awful shape. Was in earlier today and I literally had to walk out because of how bad of conditions the animals were in. I'm contacting authorities immediately because these animals looked awful. Like truly awful. People who are okay with this level of negligence don't deserve to own pet stores.

Always helpful and caring towards all the animals, even the ones called humans! I have purchased 4 birds so far from them along with food, cages, toys, etc. and they prices are very competitive and I always prefer smaller pet shops over the big box, none caring stores!

Ive always had a great experience. Enjoyed checking out the puppies.I even bought one from this store. We even told the new employee we purchased a dog here before. My wife and I just walked out. The owner of wet pets has a right to run his store any way he wants to. I have a right to purchase my dog elsewhere too. I'll purchase the one I can hold and see if we have a connection with.Today I was told I couldn't handle the puppy unless I was purchasing it. I should have said something to to owner who wasnt there today.
