I usually visit Roses for stocking stuffers, holiday gift basket goodies, and gift sets, during the holidays. Holiday goodie are at a good price here. I don't usually visit so much throughout the rest of the year. They sale a bit of everything reasonable priced.The clothing I ignore completely so I really can't speak to that area but the rest of the store I have purchase items from each area. I don't find it necessary throughout the year to visit. I am sadden to hear that they don't treat their employees properly it speak volumes to me. So I will consider how I would like to proceed as far as visiting this store again. I don't support business that treat employee like trash. Yes it's two side to a store but the review is super clear doesn't have lot of emotion just detailed facts and I didn't see any owner reply to the concerns from employee like other reviews bad or good owners leave a reply so the review seem more valid then not since it speaks to managers behavior and pay the review was ignored. I find that in bad taste when you rub a business everything can't be great everyday address good and bad reviews. So I will consider my holiday drop in going forward. I am always very kind to any employees but it's sad to hear they are treat badly

I've had a horrible experience about an hour trying to return an item they returned the wrong one according to the receipt when I tried to get them to correct it they couldn't correct it had two items rung up as I bought two of them and I only bought one horrible management couldn't get it right I'm just out of my money do not shop here and if you do pay extra close attention to what they ring up and how many they ring up do not ever try to return anything here it's not going to work in your favor

Starting pay is $8.50The pay period is every 2 weeksThese people are horrible do not work for them. The managers are a couple who argue and talk about random people and things at work so when closing you don't leave until almost 10:00. Which honestly is a benefit due to the lack of hours you get. You're expected to do several things while being a solo cashier. You're singled out and while everyone else gets to play around you're forced to do your job and theirs. No complaints are taken seriously and worst of all I've begged the store manager to get my pay card enrolled and she proceeded to tell me for an entire week that that was my responsibility. Well come the day before payday we receive an email saying that my card isn't enrolled and apparently I don't have any hours logged! It is Saturday and day after payday and I'm haven't been paid, do not work for this company do not shop with these people

I spent hours trying to find items with prices on them . I needed to get y daughter a pillow for camp. I went in at 3pm left about 5pm. I was exhausted trying too find everything more than half didn't have any prices so I walked back and forth to reg. Finally I was like let me just ask a manager which price on the pillow fixture actually went to the pillow. .she said we in the middle of something right now and you can read what it said and then I said I can read and all of these signs are wrong but I need a pillow for one of these 4 prices .she was like let me get my scanner to see. So scanner come up with different prices as well so I said we'll would do you need to do...she said nothing .so I wLked away and went to check out. Upset..she comes up to the register while I'm there and said to the other manager. I thought she was up here talking about the pillows when I heard the code. I didn't even look up. She was like she upset because they didn't have correct prices on fixture and pillow and they were in the wrong place. I said exactly and left. They would get 0 stars but the cashier was sweet!

Lots of parking, Handicapped accessible lots of room inside store. The prices are good and most of the time everything is clean and neat. Some of the employees are just there not friendly but not rude. There always seems to be lots of new items. The store has clothing, shoes, toys, home items and electronics, something for everyone. Their website is easy to navigate, they have a mailing list and a weekly ad online. Gift cards are also available.

I wish they would label their products. I have no clue why this company does not put prices on their items. I hate having to ask the workers for a price check. Because sometimes workers are busy, have a bad attitude, does not want to be bothered, or Make you feel weird for asking for a price. I personally do not want to bother them. I just want to shop and leave. Other than that the store is ok, But could be improved. I think it is an ok place to shop! Some products are overpriced. But again this store is ok. Still need some improvement.

As a former employee of store #564 I give it a 0. The ONLY thing good about this store is the prices and the friendly employees (exception of one manager). If they get rid of certain manager who not only is rude to customers but employees (in front of customers) that place will be a 5 star all day long. I've tried calling HR NUMEROUS times but never get a call back or someone to answer the phone. I REFUSE to go or my family and friends go in that store until it's resolved. The Assistant Store Manager needs to GO

Rose's may put the dollar store out of business! This store is a combination of a dollar store, Ross, and a Fred's. As some of the other reviews pointed out, a lot of what is sold here is the cheapest, but some is cheaper elsewhere. There is a HUGE clothing section, a pretty good sized furniture section (you don't need tools to put most of it together either), 8 piece begging sets for$40(no matter what size), a toy section, and more- they even sell TVs here. The staff is friendly and i was able to find everything I was looking for without a problem. This store is huge, so if you come go you should plan to want to look around.

"Saturday" Sept. 19, 2020. Found exactly what I needed. The only Checkout open was backed up by8-10 customers. Casheir called for "back-up casheir" only to be told there was no back-up. About 10 min. later, another casheir appeared but taking credit/debit only and using same Checkout isle as other. No distancing at all. Myself and at least two other customers set down our items and left. I am a patient person but so little help on Saturday is NOT good for business. Just so you know.

Have lots of variety of items in store at good prices. Store is clean and great deals. I am from Sebring Florida and just found this store. Would shop here again next year when i take my 6 hour drive again to see family. I wish they would open one of these stores in Sebring Florida. Parking is clean no carts out in parking lot. Lots of room for parking even when packed in store.

The store is very unorganized and most things don't have prices. The little girl at the register was extremely rude when my Mom asked her a question. We will never visit this store again.

It was a terrible experience. I came in from another store next door. I was carrying the stuff I bought. The lady working ask me to leave my bag with her, which woulda been no problem at all if she would have also asked the other 2 ladies who came in in front of me for their bags to. I was carrying one small bag, the other ladies had 2 or 3 bags each. It really offended me that she would have only ask me. So I just left and took my business to ollies and spent about 250 with them. Basically the lady singled me out as a thief. I will never set foot in there again . the time was 10:45 am on January 29, 2019

We come every time we are in Dothan. They are cheap and usually have something we have been looking for. They have Dove body wash for 4.99. The same thing at Walmart is 8.99 I mean what a deal.

Will not go in there again apparently they have new management. Whoever the female manager is that always wears a baseball cap and smells like cigarettes has a very rude attitude with customers especially the seniors.

Monday April 26, 2021Just called the store to ask about a swing for the yard. When the girl answered she said "Hello"!! I said is this Roses? She said yes, I said well I didn't know bc all you said was "Hello". She better be glad it wasn't someone from Corporate or her District Manager!!!
