i hope this place actually gets shut down. i worked here for 2 weeks and then i quit 1 hour into my shift one day because i was sick of how they treated me and the dogs. All the workers, owner and manager do is smoke outside and yell at you. they do NOT care about the animals at all and the dogs get 0 interaction. they only want laundry folded a certain way & things to be cleaned that are already cleaned to be cleaned over and over again. The manager put hands on me when i grabbed the wrong dog to take outside and screamed at me and cussed me out all day long. i would end up crying in the bathroom almost every day. the dogs are clearly depressed here & i cried for the dogs it broke my heart. i would get yelled at for petting the dogs instead of cleaning. i wanted to go play with them but they wouldn’t let me. the manager stole cash out of the register before closing. Not to mention i asked for part time as i am a student and they had me work from 6:50 to 6pm everyday for weeks without a break and i only got 1 5 minute break my entire shift. no lunch break but ofc the manager could take one. i barely got paid anything. they had me working outside in the heat for hours and i wasn’t allowed back inside. i work at a different dog place now, Wags and Whiskers. please take your dogs there as they get treated properly at wags & get loved on instead of this disgusting place.

Marley was in need a pet care facility that would treat him with the love (he always needs, desperately) needed while my family attended my Warrant Officer Graduation. This team took Marley in with a last-minute request and we were able to pick him up right after the ceremony.

We live next door wanted to get dog washed. They said they don't take new clients..... so this 1 star review won't hurt them. Must be nice to be able to turn down business.

I called all around Dothan to find a new boarding facility for our Goldendoodle and they were prompt and very professional. They also called our vet to verify all required vaccines. Our dog was very well taken care of, I think he enjoyed his stay while we were away. Family is very nice, clean and organized, with very friendly employees. We will board there again.

I've boarded my baby, Ruger, at 4 Paws Only for years now, and he literally drags me in the door. He can't wait to get in there and see old friends and meet new ones! I know he is in good hands. A big thank you to everyone at 4 Paws for all the love and attention you give to our fur family member!

This is the only place we will take our sweet boy! He is a shy English Mastiff that is cautious of new people. He loves going and Always comes out happy and smelling great! All the staff at For Paw Only is friendly and puts our mind at ease while traveling! I highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

These folks know and love my dogs. . . And my dogs love them! I have a young boxer and older pug. They board together and the staff know them by name when they arrive. It’s such a wonderful feeling knowing that you can leave town and your animals are well cared for by a professional staff. Pricing is very fair as well. We drive almost 30 minutes to patronize this business.

The people whom we talked with, are nice. we boarded our “healthy Walking” dog, but when we picked him up on 10/12/22, he “isn’t able to stand or Walk”. We were told by the manager that the dog was walking fine when she took care of him at 3.00 pm the day before.Shockingly they found our dog UNABLE to stand or walk the next morning. I immediately took our pet on the same day to the veterinarian. After elaborate testing, X-rays found to have nerve damage in the right front leg. The only explanation for nerve damage is some kind of trauma as its of sudden onset.The owner says “we don't know" as thats what her staff told her. We were told by the owner there were no cameras looking at the kennels and the cameras they have, are placed on the side and and at the front desk.All we can say is the "fact" in front of us what we see, that we now have a limping dog, who suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night with loud moan/whining, and crying. The dog never woke up in the middle of the night doing this behavior in past, and all of a sudden in just over a night this happened.No one knows, except the dog of what has happened from 3.00 pm to 8.00 am next day, but all we know is our family now has a disabled and distressed dog and we are paying the price.

My BJ loves it here. He is here twice weekly for daycare and they have always been patient, professional and kind, especially Starla and Ms. Peggy. Ms Starla greets him on those daycare days and you can tell she loves my baby!They provide grooming, daycare and boarding at a reasonable cost. Don't hesitate to give this Pet Resort a try, you will not regret it!

Very clean environment and the staff was professional and courteous. We boarded our GSD for five days while we visited family, and he looked great when we picked him up. It was obvious that he was well cared for. We will definitely be using them in the future.

First time using this pet resort and I'm very pleased! My baby is a handful to say the least. He came from an abuse and neglect situation and is terrified of other people and animals. The staff here handled him with tender love and care. They took one on one time with him to help him adjust to being away from home. I will definitely use them again!

I was told by another groomer thaty dog would need to be muzzled so I brought her here. They didn't need to muzzle her at all and were very good to her and my other babies.

For Paws Only is the groomer of my three miniature schnauzers. These schnauzers travel to many agility competitions during the year and people at these competitions are always commenting on how well they are groomed. You can't ask for a better endorsement than that of dog agility competitors and those who are in various dog related businesses. The most important endorsement is that of the three mini schnauzers who are always happy to get to go see their groomers!

Our Sheltie, Dallas, is 13. She is vision impaired, hearing impaired and becoming a little disoriented at times. Two things she is always happy about....eating and going to For Paws Only to be pampered!! They are wonderful with her and so gentle.

I wouldve given it 5 except they messed up on my dogs neatness trim near his snout and didnt mention it...its noticeable but its not horrible. I love their options and low boarding costs. Friendly people!
