The store is under new management and there's been a good amount of improvement. Everything is much more clean, the floor is more open, and the shelves are better stocked. Much better vibe than there used to be.

For one their frozen/cold items taste as if they became warmed/unthawed and refrozen or cooled again. All of the items in the store expire within a week or two. There's evidence of stolen items all over the store. The sales associates are rude and lazy. Items aren't being stocked properly. Several items are mismarked price wise. Sales associate Tanya has been selling cigarettes without checking ID. I'm also filing a report with the better business bureau. This store is getting out of hand.

Customer service horrific continuously. Not charged amount posted. Manager unwilling to help, treated me ridiculously after waiting because I refused to track her down myself. Cashier stated I do not have to shop there. Live down street so convenient, not anymore. Screamed at by manager in store and parking lot

Terrible one of the employees locked door in my children and my face as we were walking to door without an explanation, asked a customer that they let out why were they locking doors he said for inventory ok that's fine but it would be nice to know that from employees and not another customer!!

I got fired and banned from shopping at the store on Thanksgiving Day. Thanks Dollar General but the store is a trashy place with a lot of customers that depend on it for food and such. The store didn't have cold food for 2 months because they said their scanner thing was broke so people staying in 5 motels didn't have food to buy. Also when the cold food did arrive finally it reached room temperature before getting stocked because they are so short of decent help. And now I have to get a covid test for being around a coworker with a fever. Also there are NO Penny items at that store. The Manager KAT and Kayla pulls all of the penny items so that the public cannot buy them.

Theses girls work hard and still need more help. I also want to thank Dollar General for my bag I received as a gift . Unexpected and very nice thought. I love it that a company think about there customers

We stopped here because of the handy location. It was run down on the inside. The cashier seemed nice, but the register was slow and had some problem. The people in front of us couldn't seem to get all their stuff rung up correctly and had to redo everything they just bagged. The line behind us was getting long. We left due to time constraints. This is the worst Dollar General I have been in.

The assistant store manager will bad mouth u to ur ex spouse for no reason when all he should be worried about is his job. Maybe if the employees at this particular location would focus more on the job and less with the chit chat, the theft toll would be drastically cut down. I mean I understand though that if they aren't taken care of with pay and benefits the lack of motivation is going to be strong with all the employees

This Dollar General is very outdated in a rough part of town. The facility was extremely unclean and understocked. On the particular day I went, there was a line that wrapped into the aisles while the manager was the only one with a register open. I feel that because of this Dollar Generals location (between four extended stay hotels) they take advantage of the fact that, for many people, it is the only place to shop within walking distance. Because of this, the have forgotten customer service and slacked on upkeep of the store as a whole.

Store was an absolute wreck. One of the worst I've seen in the area. The cashier was nice and great though, and I know they are understaffed and overworked. It's an upper management issue and goes to show that DG doesn't care about their employees and in turn, doesn't care about the customer.

Conveniently situated next to the Inn Town Suites, and with direct access to Ross Clark Circle, it stays busy all day. Unfortunately, that is also the reason I am only giving it 3 stars. Due to its capital location, its inventory of stock is skeletal. However, the employees are always friendly and very helpful.

I just can't wrap my head around the fact that while DG has almost anything you could need... it technically doesn't because the shelves are NEVER fully stocked and boxes of product are ALWAYS in the aisles.

Long line. They decided to switch cashiers while 7of us waited. Why not handle customers THEN, switch? Clearance items not marked right, need to wait for whomever to come void... Etc... Etc... Etc..

The store was a wreck, but the employees seemed like they were nice people.I had never been inside a Dollar General that felt so off-kilter, even though there weren't many people inside the store.

We're under a mask mandate and employees aren't enforcing it. Cashier was polite and friendly. Store was clean.

Their milk case was empty. Stuff all over the floor creating a safety hazard. Also a cashier who didn't speak one syllable to me.

This store lacks a lot of stuff that you might find at another dollar store but you won’t find it here it needs to be cleaned up not hating on someone just giving you my opinion fare prices and nice employees

This Dollar General is always messy and poorly stocked. If you can avoid this one and make it to the one on Brannon Stand is great
