Dollar general on the south side always be running out of stuff, can't ever keep anything stocked. And the dang coolers keep breaking down. Or they leave their carts and totes all over the place. Every time I go in there it's always something, idk what the deal is.

Disgusting manager working there. He will harass easy targets by video and photo with his phone, then harass you by following you and then trying to provoke you into an argument. He is only trying to make himself look good to his boss by creating false narratives with customers. Beware! He and his two females should be fired!

It's about average for Dollar General. The Staff seem helpful enough and the store.has always been clean when I've visited. The store itself isn't the largest in the area so the selection of merchandise offered isn't very impressive. My main complaint about this particular location is that on more than one occasion the line has been unpleasantly long and the employee's attitude seem to be at their lowest about an hour before the store is scheduled to close. Trust me I get that no one wants to stay past closing time but if there is 15 minutes before your scheduled closing time I would appreciate it if I didn't catch the third degree and the huffy puffy attitude.

For this to be a fairly new store, it sure is messy. The shelves are always empty and they get the frozen food truck on Saturday!!! That is priority of course, but then you have only one cashier checking out while the others are trying to stock the frozen food items! I love that they have a better variety but never enough cashier help!! I'm older so I can't stand in line that long bc of my back! Please straighten your store up so it will be enjoyable to shop in!

The customer service here was very friendly and nice. The cashier was very sweet even with a swamp load of customers. She seemed very happy with her job and grateful to be there! We need more people in the world like her.

I ran in for one thing in particular- a big teddy near for a Christmas gift. My son has one and while at a birthday party, the birthday boy put aside his new gifts and went for my son's bear!! This Dollar General still had a couple and I was sure glad! The staff here were very friendly. The store was busy and that is a good sign. Also conveniently located on S. Hwy. 231 before the Circle.

This store is always disgusting and dirty. The employees are rude and always are outside smoking by the front door. The air never works. The restrooms are always nasty and smell like urine. They are always out of merchandise and what they do have is very unorganized. They desperately need an intervention!!

Usually no issues but on this particular visit the line was like Black Friday 1st customer was one of my own customers from my place of business he was counting her some ones that she needed & i joked with him from back of the line that he was holding the line up & she took it that i was complaining & took it personal " that's life " i still like the convenience & count it as a 1 time incident trust me ive had my share of dealing with the public. Dollar generals in general usually suck. Long lines, out of stocks and filthy stores. I used to just as well go to dg instead of Wal-Mart. But I'm getting the hang of going to Wal-Mart.

always understocked and I stopped by this morning 12/04/20 at 10:15 there were shopping carts all over the place a newspaper outside the door and it was not even open at 10:15 on a Friday
